Fettuccine with salmon and pistachio. The other dish is Grandma Lisa's homemade pasta with tomato

This was the first meal I ever had in Rome. The staff here was very pleasant. We walked in with no reservation on a Friday night and they seated us immediately. It could seem a bit tight seating wise but the lighting and decor was pretty. I ordered the fettuccine with salmon and pistachio. It was delicious. The homemade pasta was perfect. The dish wasn't oily at all but was as smooth as butter. Would definitely recommend this to first time Rome visitors.

Great ambiance and location near hotel. Sat outside near heater. Macaroni and 3Quarti appetizer were good. Friendly service.

We went there because the place we wanted to go was closed. The appetizers were great. My husband ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and I ordered the special that the waiter highly recommended. My highly recommended dinner was not so great. The pasta was way under-cooked. The waitress noticed that I only ate a few bit and did ask me, I told her that I didn't like it. I saw her talking to her boss. Then he did absolutely nothing. I wasn't expect not to charge me, at least ask me why I didn't like it or offer to made me something else. He did nothing. There are plenty of time that I paid for what I didn't like, but 90% of the time, the manager could be concern or offered to make me something else. My two stars based on how the owner/ manager handled my poor dinner. The rest of the food actually descent. Just didn't appreciate "the tourist treatment".

Beef carpaccio - a bit thicker than I expected

3.5 stars. Solid osteria not too far from the vaticans. We had the 3quarti special buns with grilled vegetables, with bread that are sprouted for 12 hours before baking. Pretty Interesting one to try but can skip if you don't eat bread in general (which is my case). I had the Roman special pasta maccheroncini with bacon, cheese, and caper, tomato. It was a bit too heavy for a hot day and the fatty chewy bacon could be a bit harder to get used to for an American tourist. I would not recommend the beef carpaccio. A bit too meaty and thick in texture and appearance. In this category, I like the French version of beef carpaccio. If you do get it, I would recommend a bit of olive oil (and maybe even a bit of balsamic vinaigrette to go with this). I loved the ambience, especially when it is 100 degrees Fahrenheit. A bit modern in look/feel with high ceilings. The wine by the glass options was great - the waiter just picked a glass of white from the fruili region to go with my dish and it was fabulous.

    My dessert.

The atmosphere is nice and it is very busy inside. We went around 8PM and there were still people coming by and seeking seats. They seem to recommend a reservation but won't necessarily turn away walk ins. We asked for bread which is about a euro per person and you need to request for olive oil, salt, and pepper (if you need dipping). I got the carbonara and my fiancé got the house-made fettuccine. The carbonara was very al dente and tastes more like A heavy Mac and cheese. Desserts are absolutely fantastic. Would go back simply for the desserts. I had the chocolate tiramisu with wild strawberries.

The restaurant was able to cater to my request for a porcini salad without cheese. It was unfortunately not dressed, and the mushrooms were disappointingly flaccid and overcooked. The bruschetta with tomatoes was nice and fresh. The beef dish was quite good. The main negative was that we were informed that we were not allowed to use our own water as the restaurant had a strict no 'outside water' policy. Since we were there for an early dinner, service was a little too attentive as there were no other customers and the wait staff kept looking over at our direction.

I studied abroad in Rome and this cute place was my favorite go-to for a nice dinner. It's always filled with locals. The staff are extremely friendly and the ambiance is very cozy. My favorite is the fettucine al ragu, and the tiramasu is great as well. The prices are good and the wine list is extensive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to eat in Prati.

Excellent service. Food Memorable. A must to begin with the 3 small buns and follow with homemade pasta. The presentations of food are slightly larger than other restaurants in the city. Overall value is fabulous!!!

Special of the day Gnocchi with pumpkin and meat and a glass of white wine.

Delicious food and great service! Would definitely recommend. I had a special of the day which was Gnocchi with pumpkin and meat. Absolutely Delicious!!

The food was great, but you must try the dessert! Forget about New York, this cheesecake was absolutely AMAZING! Bravo to the chef!

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

I had possibly the most amazing chick food pasta a girl could imagine. Girls know what girl food is. The pasta in Italy is just better -obviously. But then put all sorts of girl flavors on it like Lemon and Orange, just lightly enough, zest with a small hint of cheese-..... omgosh. Yes, yes, and yes. Need my hubs to replicate at home. He is going to be busy trying to perfect this. Tagliatelle with orange and lemon parmesan. This was it. It was the best. Everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Wait outside. They don't have a sign telling you to wait, no server telling you to wait. You wait out there, wondering if you're in the right place, but then people stand behind you and you're like - oh! I'm here. This is the place. There are possibly 4 tables inside. It's small. I read about them being rude- we did not have that problem. In fact, they made a mistake and we kindly let them know we ordered something else- they corrected it and were nice about it.

So happy we did as this place definitely delivers. There is seriously like 8 tables in the dining room so expect a wait in line but trust me, it's worth it. We waited outside for about 25 minutes. They do take your order while in line so the wait for food (once you do get a table) is abbreviated. Out of the world pastas and the pistachio tiramisu is seriously out of this world. Inexpensive table wine rounds out a great meal. This is the type of place I love to go to. It's quaint, zero pretense and delivers on its food. A great find!
