The people who worked there are also very, very nice and helpful with anything you need. They have different salad dressings that they make themselves and many different things to put in the salad. I won't lie the basil salad dressing that I got was a little bit strange. The taste was OK, but I don't think I would get it again because it was a bit chunky and a little bit too thick more like a sauce that you would dip some kind of food to rather than a dressing for salad. Overall, the food and the experience was good though I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back at some point.

Nonetheless, my office had two catered lunches from Fresh Kitchen last week that I, once again, still found to be okay. However, I will say, their herb balsamic dressing is DELISH. I poured it over EVERYTHING. I could have just drunk a BOWL of that dressing; that's how delightful it is. Also, I do find their grilled chicken to be well made. It has a nice flavor to it. Everything else was just OKAY. As far as service goes, I cannot speak to it as I've only ever had Fresh Kitchen at catered lunch and learns in the office. I also cannot speak to the overall space or ambiance of the space as I've actually never stepped foot into a Fresh Kitchen facility due to my catered lunch experiences. Beyond that, my overall stance still holds. They are okay. Maybe one day, I'll go in and build my own bowl and see how I feel about it. Until then, they aren't necessarily my-go to, but I do not mind them. I enjoy that they are a healthier alternative to other fast-food options.

Pretty rough 1st time experience using JS for a catering order that i planned to pick up for a…read moreluncheon. The office I had lunch with decided on JS due to the close proximity of the restaurant. The morning of the luncheon I placed my order online for a 11:45am pick up. I also left instructions to have the orders have each individuals name tied to their orders due to some folks needing to know what meals was theirs due to dietary restrictions. Arrived at the scheduled pick up time and there was a group of people waiting for their orders still at the pick up station w/o any signs of prepared food. I knew this wasn't going to be good. Long story short my order was behind 25 min-cutting into the offices lunch hour. The JS team also didn't identify each order with the appropriate names which was disappointing. They offered to fix it but they were so backed up I just let it slide. Writing this review so that if anyone is planning to use them for catering be prepared for possible delays as it seems as tho they get busy during lunch rush and have not perfected their timing system yet to accommodate schedule pick up times. Hopefully it gets fixed, but not sure I use them again for catering orders after this experience.

I did add avocado which was about $2 extra, but you get a whole half of a hass avocado so it's definitely better than some places that will charge you that much and give you three slices of avocado. The peanut dressing paired so well with the bowl. On a different occasion, I did get their acai protein shake and it tasted kind of chalky. I think it's the vegan protein powder they use. I'll definitely be popping in more frequently for some healthy lunch and dinners :)
