And he knew the local (stair, walkway, rail) town code, something some of the other contractors did not know. He delivered high quality, beautiful workmanship. I highly recommend Bill for any and all projects; will definitely use him in the future.

I requested an estimate on a new driveway and berm. A young man with an accent showed up and gave…read moreme a price that I agreed to pay. They proceeded to come out to do the work. I kept asking about the quality of the material and was told the material is great. Driveway and berm were installed a year ago. Now I am having all kinds of problems with the work. The driveway is wavy and is not consistent throughout. Edges are jagged and pieces are missing There was a small crack at the end of the driveway. The asphalt near the road is all gray and pieces of asphalt gone. The berm is pitted and has cracks in it. I had a problem where a truck caused damage to the berm, I called and asked for help and no one called me. Now I have texted them pictures and my concerns about just how long this driveway will last. I have only put a dent in the loan I took out to pay for all of this. I am now getting stonewalled again, there was no guarantee of the work. Honestly, because I am a senior citizen woman I feel I was taken advantage of.

IF I COULD THEY WOULD NOT EVEN GET 1 STAR!!! Terrible company! contractor # HIC.0655341 …read more.. unorganized lack of care to get the job done. I contacted the office multiple times. I payed this company in August to start my driveway. They were quick to cash my down payment. I was calling daily for an update to see when my drive way would be completed. Now Its the end of November and still my driveway is unfinished and unusable. They did not show up on Friday November 1 like they planned. They were a no show, no call, and no type of communication. I called at 3pm that day and spoke with Marybeth at the office. That was a terrible experience too! So I contacted the owner(Scott Sambrook). Boy what a joke!!! I can't believe he is the owner of anything. He could not even make a plan to get my small driveway done. So he promised that there was a crew coming to start my driveway on November 2. They showed up and removed my asphalt added a curtain drain. They did not bring any process material to fill and flatten my driveway let alone Marybeth said the whole job would be finished in 2 days. The driveway now is totally unusable. They also have a D- RATING ON BBB. I wish I knew before hiring this wannabe contractor. If you are using this company STOP! HIRE A LAWYER and get your money back. I will!!! Now the asphalt plants will be shutting down and I don't even have a half ass driveway. Thanks to the SCAMCROOK GROUP LLC. What a waste I hope your business fails. Nice saying for this company is "People who play stupid games win stupid prizes..." I hope your prize is an "F" on the BBB. There are plenty of others who got tricked into using this "D-" company Check out all the reviews on www.bbb.org search CONNECTICUT SEALCOATING you will find they are a very poorly rated company. They can do so much better at another company. This company has no integrity. This is there website don't believe the hype...they are really not as good as the website...https://www.ctsealcoating.net/ If I only knew they were a "D-" company.... Maybe this would make a good news story channel 3,30,61 or channel 8? a good news story for consumer complaints? Bad contractors? and missing money? Feel free to comment on your own review. I know I am not the only one who has had a horrible experience with this Group.

From Nancy in the office who unbelievably responsive in taking care of all the paperwork and coordinating everything, to Corey who deftly operated the machines with skill and precision in a tight area to the teammates who were so courteous and well mannered and showed such teamwork to get the job done properly. They added topsoil, reseeded the lawn area and laid down hay where the lawn was disturbed. The job was reasonably priced and they are active in the Guilford community. An example of this was donating materials for the Guilford Dog Park. I would not hesitate to give them my highest endorsement. For me, I could not have picked a better company.
