I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. Mother Modern Plumbing will be the only plumbing service that I'll ever call again. I had been dealing with a shower and washing machine drain stoppage for a while. All other drains were fine and nothing I tried was working to clear the blocked shower and washer drain. This experience with Mother Modern Plumbing was as perfect as it gets. The first thing I noticed when I called was a quality of true kindness.. Gabby took that call and she was great. Definitely wouldn't recommend Total Plumbing and will never use them again. I hired them to fix a…read moregas leak on the pipe from the meter to the coupling before it goes underground. Oncor detected the leak, shut off the gas, and told me to get it repaired. Total Plumbing replaced the pipe and performed a pressure test. I mentioned that the Oncor tech said a small repair might not need a city inspection. They finished the job and told me I could call Oncor to restore service. The next morning, Oncor told me the inspection had not been done or passed. I called Total Plumbing, and they sent the same tech back out. When I asked why the inspection wasn't done the first time, he said he was relying on what I was told by Oncor. A licensed plumbing company working in Rowlett should know the city's gas inspection requirements -- not rely on second hand info from a homeowner. Because they didn't follow proper procedure, I was charged an additional $375 for a second trip to perform the inspection-related testing. This wasn't new work; it was correcting their own oversight. This raises serious concerns about their knowledge of city regulations and industry standards. They made an excuse to justify another service call and charged me for something that should have been done the first time.
