I can't say enough good things about working with Case Plumbing…read more Tyler and team helped me build out a commercial kitchen in a 130-year-old space with uneven floors and exposed brick walls which came with a lot of complexity and very specific, nuanced requirements. From start to finish they gave thoughtful consideration to how the kitchen would function day-to-day, while also caring just as much about how everything would look in the finished space. The work was exceptionally clean, the copper lines are genuinely stunning, and the overall execution is both highly functional and beautifully done. Bonus points: they were also incredibly conscientious of the surrounding space and took care to protect existing finishes like floors and paint throughout the process, which did not go unnoticed. Bonus bonus points: Communication was consistent, clear, and professional, which made a complicated project feel manageable. It's rare to find a contractor who delivers this level of craftsmanship while also being such a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Case Plumbing without hesitation and am incredibly grateful to have had them on this project.

However, a friend recommended John Skoog's business, Sunvek, whom we contacted immediately. John came straight over, thoroughly evaluated the roof, provided us with pictures of the damage and outlined the necessary repairs, and then started work the next day. The roof was completely replaced within two days and the work was flawless. Everyone associated with Sunvek was wonderful to work with, they were extremely generous in the financial arrangements they made with us, and we're delighted to recommend them without reservation. They're a local, family owned business with 40 years experience in the field. Hiring them will definitely be a decision you'll be glad to have made!

On the advice of our property manager, we got a bid from Sunvek to put a 1 inch layer of foam on the roof followed by an overlay of silicon. The foam added R7 insulation value, while the white silicon reflects the sunlight back, keeping our building cooler in summer. John Skoog and his crew spent a full day cleaning the roof and addressing problem areas like ridges on the old torch down. The next day, the foam and silicon went on. The new roof is seamless and tight. No mess was left. Very professional. As an additional note, in the past I've dealt with contractors who were dismissive or condescending to me as I am female. With this contractor, I was listened to, my questions were fully answered, and as we walked the roof before the project, John Skoog pointed out exactly what he proposed to do. Highly recommended.

Mike MacAlevy and his company Selkirk Timberwrights built our timber home in Naples four years ago…read more From the first time we met with Mike and his wife Tanya at their office, we were impressed with the orderliness, cleanliness and professionalism at their business. Mike designed our home himself from a crude design we drew on a piece of paper, and was patient with us as we met and tweaked it numerous times. Mike's crew was very friendly and professional. During the build, we would often watch Mike install a piece of wood, inspect it, remove it, shave off the tiniest bit and reinstall it so it was perfect! Looking at other homes we have noticed builders frequently will let things slide, and it shows, but Mike never did. Although the building process was slower than us eager homeowners would've liked, the end result is a beautiful custom home from start to finish with special details throughout that everyone notices when they visit. Even others in the construction business always ask, "Who built your house?" as they gaze around. We're so happy we chose Mike and Tanya!
