Mike designed our home himself from a crude design we drew on a piece of paper, and was patient with us as we met and tweaked it numerous times. Mike's crew was very friendly and professional. During the build, we would often watch Mike install a piece of wood, inspect it, remove it, shave off the tiniest bit and reinstall it so it was perfect! Looking at other homes we have noticed builders frequently will let things slide, and it shows, but Mike never did. Although the building process was slower than us eager homeowners would've liked, the end result is a beautiful custom home from start to finish with special details throughout that everyone notices when they visit. Even others in the construction business always ask, "Who built your house?" as they gaze around. We're so happy we chose Mike and Tanya!

We did our due diligence by requesting him to take a look at the roof. He called my husband and said it would be $52, 000 to replace the roof on a 2400 single story square foot house. Which is ridiculous. We told him not to send the quote to us. In turn, somehow a personal email quote was given to the buyers of this house. This caused great turmoil and stress and again we had another roofer which makes three all saying the roof is in great shape except for the repair that was previously mentioned. His quote for $52,000 was so out of line, that I can only think he didn't want to do the Job! It's very surprising since everyone thinks so highly of him. Very unfortunate, I would never do business with him.

We entered this year and the were told - "they sent out the wrong guy, we don't qualify, they only replace composite roofs", WHAT?! Part 2: The day…read moreafter posting the previous review, I received another call from that Anchorage Alaska number (Tim). He told me that he saw my post and had no idea that Luke had done this. He and Luke had quite the showdown in the office. He wanted to make good on HIS estimate and would be out in two days. Upon arriving at my house he informed me that Luke had been fired and that they were doing an in-house investigation on him to see if he had been doing this for awhile. The company also discovered that Luke is the brother of the owner of a local competing chimney sweep business and that Luke might've been trying to way over-bid jobs so that people like me would go with his brothers company. Tim completed my job at a cost that was way below his original estimate. I appreciate people like Tim who want to take the time to make things right when there's an obvious wrong. Tim said that Ron (owner) was in agreement of his "fix the problem" attitude and this reflects greatly on the integrity of this company! I will NOW continue to use the services of this company and I hope that Tim gets a big fat raise for this! Tim definitely has a servant's heart and got $20 for his pocket from me for his trouble.
