The lawn mowing was uneven, with several areas missed entirely, and the trimming around the driveway and house was poorly done and looked rushed. The overall quality of work did not meet expectations, especially for a professional landscaping company. The property was left looking unfinished, and it was clear they were not prepared for the job when they arrived. I was disappointed with the attention to detail and the lack of proper tools. When Jess stated that the work was complete, we expressed our concerns and explained that we did not believe the job had been done to an acceptable standard. Rather than addressing those concerns professionally, he became aggressive and attempted to intimidate us while demanding final payment. The interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Based on both the quality of the work and the way the situation was handled, I will not be using this service again and cannot recommend it to others.

I have seen work that this landscape company does, and it's very nice. They did a neighbor's house…read morethat came out nice. I have not spoken to my neighbor as to how things went, but I decided to contact PGD and requested a quote back in May. Tom came out, he is the designer. We said great, give us a design that includes a fire pit and helps keep water away from our foundation. He said he would come up with something. He said they have a crew that can start late July. A month went by, I called Tom and left a message that I am heading out of town and would like to get a bid. Tom and the estimator Jack showed up that day without responding to my message, they just showed up. My wife who wanted input was in her home office on a call with a client and could not get off. If we knew they were coming we would have made the arrangements. Either way, we had a pleasant visit and Jack and Tom appeared to have a plan in mind. A few more weeks pass and I call and speak with Tom. He said they have been real busy and Jack will have an estimate to me by the end of the following week. After that following week, I call and leave a message with Tom on his answering service. No response. A week later, I call the office directly and spoke with a very nice young receptionist that I left all my information with for Jack to please return my call. She assured he he would get the message. That was now 10 days ago. I did not give 1 star because I have not had them actually do any work for me. They did not get a 5 because they did not do any work for me. They do deserve a review because I did deal with their customer service through the bid process, and this review comes 3 weeks after they originally told me they can start. If there is a logical explanation as to why this went so poorly, I would love to hear it and I would adjust my review accordingly. But when I do business, or try to do business with a company, I will always give an honest review of how the process went. In this case, the process went nowhere.

The crew were phenomenal, getting the old driveway torn out and paving the entire area in less than half a day. They were very careful to check over and over that the drainage would work properly. It's been several months, and we couldn't be more pleased. Plus, the price was half of what other companies wanted. I'd give them ten stars if I could!

The back story is we were looking at working with this contractor on a home we wanted to purchase…read more The home was not completed so we needed him to make a bid for the completion of the project and pull permits so that we could get a loan for the house. In order to purchase the home we needed a permit to build. In order to get a permit on the home we needed an engineer's sign off since the home was not permitted in the past. It was the contractor's responsibility to get an engineer to sign off on the building so that we could get a building permit and buy the property. After months of waiting the contractor failed to get an engineer to sign off on the home, we couldn't obtain a permit, so we lost the house/funding. We had already moved all of our stuff up to WA and this rendered us houseless. Furthermore, I spoke to the engineer and it appeared he had no plans to sign the house off as safe to live in. Since we are out of towners I feel like this contractor was attempting to bully us into a payment and then throw his hands up at the last minute and say that the home would never be approved to occupy by the county. During the bid process and permitting process Jason said many times that "he did not know how to do this" or was unsure on what the county/bank was asking. I think the project we were asking him to complete was simply too big for his experience level and he realized that towards the end and that is why it seemed to be clear that he was slowly pulling out of the project but wanted payment even though he knew that this project would not move forward. We agreed to pay a $2,500 deposit to the contractor when the building permit was obtained from the county. Now that we have no permit, no house, and no contract to build, this man is trying to force us into paying the deposit on our contract. I have told him I would pay for his time since it was a long investment, but he has failed to provide an itemized invoice of the time that he spent on putting things together. I have sent several emails to him trying to work with him on this but no response. I have moved to this area with my little family, and I am scared for my life due to the threats I have received from this contractor. He has told us that, "when people fuck us around, we have options." I am not sure what options this man is referring to but it does not make me feel comfortable or safe and above all it is poor business practices. This review is just meant to be cautionary. If you intend to use this contractor for anything other than a small project please be wary. He does not have the experience for it.
