Then tried to overcharge me a thousand dollars with fudged hours. Charged me 3 different labor rates. Brought his daughter that is here visiting from Alaska to the job site and tried to bill me 25 dollars an hour for her being on site. She isn't even a plumber. He left a mess everyday he was here, he didn't even finish the job. I gave him the money we agreed upon and told him to get off my property. He then insinuated that he was going to bad mouth my reputation in Priest river. I've been on this planet 51 years, never in my life have I met someone as dishonest. Thank God, for his son Scott or I would have nothing more then a bunch of holes drilled in my house.

Recently had Superior Plumbing out to remove our pressure tank, water softener and water heater in…read morepreparation for some basement work we were having done. These items needed to be move away from the foundation wall in the basement. Toby came out and got this work done in time for the basement contractor to start his work. I asked Toby to check the pressure tank as I was pretty sure it was the original and around 20 years old. Only issue was the pressure setting, but he did find the water heater to be 23 years old and recommended replacing it. This we decided to do along with reconfiguring the main water line coming into the house and some other lines. Toby was great to work with, does excellent work, constantly cleans up, and made great suggestions. Due to the basement work being done he could not reconnect everything that first day, so he made some temporary connections to ensure we at least had water, both hot and cold. Very pleased with Superior Plumbing and Toby and I will definitely use them again.

My heat pump quit just over a week ago. This week is going to be the hottest week of the year and my home warranty company put a ticket in with them. At first I was glad to see that because of how well they did several years ago. They are supposed to respond within 24 hours, they didn't. The following four days I left messages on their answering machine which had their normal business message, no returned calls. Not sure why the total lack of response, they used to have a whole fleet and I would think if they only had one person and something made them unavailable they could have someone put it on their voicemail. No response indicates what has been a typical response I've had from too many businesses in the area, for whatever reason. Not cool, pun intended.
