We checked with a few different landscaping companies. Hearn seemed to offer the best overall package of design/layout and work, and their pricing was reasonable. We started working with them (getting estimates and a plan) around mid-August and got onto their schedule for early October. We had to arrange for a separate company to update and re-arrange some of the lawn's sprinkler system before Hearn could do their work. Once that was complete (in September), Hearn came out shortly afterwards. They performed all the work in about 3.5 days. This included scraping our back yard and about 1/3 of our front yard, delivering mulch and river rock for some areas, extending drain pipes in 3 spots, laying Zoisa sod in the scraped and graded areas, and then adding some decorative planting in one area. I delayed doing a review until we had a chance to see the sod grown in and actually become a lawn, as opposed to pieces of sod. That has occurred as we move into the middle of summer, so I am more confident in rating Hearn's work. Overall, we are quite satisfied and would work with them again. They provided a plan and then worked to that plan. There were no surprises later.

Geo and his crew of highly professional people arrived exactly on time, trimmed trees away from my roof, removed dead branches and unwanted bushes, then they picked up and wood chipped all the branches laying around my property. By the time they were finished my yard looked amazing! All trees were trimmed perfectly, and they did an excellent clean up of my property all the way around. When they were finished Geo suggested we do a "walk around" to see if I was satisfied with everything. Geo and his courteous team went above and beyond and I am very happy with their work! I highly recommend Geo's Tree Services. It's wonderful when a company actually does what they say they are going to do! Great job gentlemen!

AJ and his crew removed and killed the vines and roots of the English Ivy and Poison Ivy "jungle"…read morein my back- and side-yards. They cleared scrubby plant debris and killed vines climbing the trees. Then, they spread several cu yds of topsoil & garden loam, and a top layer of about 3 inches of mulch. They redefined the landscape bed edges and installed 3 pallets of zoysia to fill in with my existing grass. They did an excellent, detailed job with all parts of the project, were professional and respectful, and a good value for the price. They cleaned up afterwards, and did everything that they initially agreed upon. Thanks to them I can now enjoy my garden without the risk of getting poison ivy! My grass and flower beds are beautiful! Since this was a large project (3 full days to complete), I got 4 estimates, which ranged in price, method and scope. AJ had offered a couple of options which would reduce the price, but we agreed that the final project would be the best to rid the property of the Poison Ivy and English Ivy. I would highly recommend AJ for both large and small landscape jobs. He has an excellent work ethic and a good eye for detail. I will also have him back next year to do some additional work in the front.

His quote covers minute detail & he takes time to explain each & everything about the process. His polite & pleasing appearance amazed us. Still I hired a different tree company who gave a cheap quote but I realized that was my worst decision. That company postpone their dates multiple times & disappeared after removing 2 trees & damaged my property & many items. After that I requested Jeremy to complete the remaining tree removal & they did a wonderful job. Jeremy and his crew were absolutely amazing. The equipment they brought was state of the art. Each worker was highly skilled, and as a team, they were really something to watch. There were 4 huge pine tree & 6/7 maple cluster they removed. It was a tricky job. Their tree removal process is amazing. Crane crew is expert to grab the tree when Chris was cutting the tree & move it to other side. Fantastic Bobcat guy was grabbing the tree & pushing it to shredder. Another cool guy was helping for cleaning & grinding the stump. Chris who was cutting the tree is a great foreman. The clean up after the work is excellent. All crew were very patient & not at all frustrated after long work in full sun (95+ degree F) & they take care of everything. We asked when they could do the work and they said TODAY! They had a few things to do after lunch but said they would be back around 5pm. They arrived right on schedule and removed 17 stumps in about 3 hours. Folks, they did an outstanding job, grinding 3-4 inches into the ground and grinding any exposed roots attached to the stumps. My wife and I agree they are the best contractor we have ever hired and we HIGHLY recommend this husband and wife small business. And the price was within our budget.

I traveled for work and paid someone to remove the debris the following day, when I returned I called the company to explain that there was a piece of the stump and roots remaining. I rented a stump grinder and cleared things out since I was scheduled to lay SOD a few days after the job and I did not receive any return correspondence regarding my issue. . I recommend confirming that the Stump and the close roots are in fact grinned down and not hiding underneath the wood/mulch before you pay and they leave. It is a very easy oversight if you do not use a rake to check the job.
