I recently purchased a new flatscreen TV and for the first time in my life decided to utilize a…read morewall mounting scenario. Even though I viewed some tutorials on YouTube, I felt it to be appropriate to have a professional conduct both the installation of the wall mount and the hanging of the TV. I conducted a Google search and found South Charlotte Services with stellar reviews and photos of customer's end results. In viewing their website, I was very much impressed with their attention to detail and all of the services they offer. My scenario was pretty straight-forward: dry-wall with studs and an electrical outlet already high from the finished floor. But, they do offer other services for more complex scenarios. I also suggest calling them before you purchase your wall mount. I purchased one with my TV however they have others they prefer in stock relative to all types of installs and TVs and may be more affordable than others purchased online or at a retailer such as Best Buy or Walmart. After filling out their online form for a quote, I was furnished a proposal by end of business via text and email (NOTE: make sure you try and view it asap so the link doesn't expire). I was called and a time was set. They are pretty flexible but mornings are usually better so try and make yourself available. Their installer, John, showed up on time with all tools necessary (as well as a construction blanket for floor protection). He takes the handling of your TV device with caution and advises you throughout the process to make sure the TV is mounted to your liking and viewing preferences. Be advised to also have an area to lay your TV so he can install the back bracket. Before drilling, he performed a check of the surrounding walls to make sure he would be drilling into the correct spots (some DIY people or other installers may not bother to do this and it's possible it could compromise electric or gas lines; very important this is not ignored). Moreover, he keeps the area very clean by utilizing a shop vac throughout install. John was friendly, efficient, and effective. I highly recommend their services. The job took ~1hr to complete.

Just writing another recommendation for Pioneer Home Repairs!!…read more I had another small job I needed completed - and to be honest - I wasn't even sure if what I wanted existed - but Zachrey Conner came up with a great solution which not only gets the job done - but was economical because he was able to use my existing hardware instead of having to start buying a bunch of expensive stuff I didn't need! We have a screened in porch on the back of our house - and we have a medium sized dog who we like to give access to both our porch and the fenced in back yard. We keep his bed, along with his food and water bowls on the porch and our solution up to now has been to prop open the screen door so he could go in and out. But about a week ago we had a pretty windy day and the wind caught the propped open door and bent it all the way open - which damaged the mechanism on the top of the door that is used to prop the door open. I went to Lowes to price a new screen door (thinking that was our only option) and while doing so I thought to myself - why dont they make a doggy door for within a screen door?? I looked at Lowes, Home Depot and even Amazon and did not find anything like what I was thinking would be a perfect solution - because I knew even if we replaced the bent door it would likely be damaged again in the future if we continued to prop it open. So - I reached out to Zach and he literally showed up at my door to talk about what I wanted within 30 minutes of texting him (like seriously - who does that)!! He said he was finishing a job near by and so he came right over. We talked about what I was wanting and he said he thought we could modify my exisiting door without too much trouble and he then told me my original door wasn't damaged - I just needed a new part for the existing door - and that part cost less than $20!! I was thrilled. We setup an appointment for him to return to do the work and he finished the job a little earlier today. Once again I am thrilled with the outcome. He installed the new part to fix my door and customized the original door by removing two vertical slats to the right hand side of the door and created a frame to support the changes in the actual screening - which he cut and added a metal piece to the bottom of and then added magnets in the frame of the door itself so it now swings open for my dog to go through but will stay closed to prevent bugs from entering an open hole - just like a doggy door is supposed to do!! Now I can use my door but keep it closed all while allowing my dog to come and go multiple times per day without having to physically let him in and out of the porch or prop open the door!! Zach is such a wonderful handyman! I highly recommend him for any repairs or maintenance work you need done!
