My friend was able to call and reserve a unit right away with All Storage. They waited for the movers, my belongings and I to get there and Jenny personally gave me a tour of the facility and my unit! It was beautiful! The facility is amazingly clean. We have been storing our items here for about a year and a half now with no trouble. Last weekend, we had record flooding, which flooded most, if not all the units. We signed up with their insurance when we first started our rental unit. Access Self Storage sent over our information and I filed the furniture we were claiming damaged. Come to find out, their insurance they offer does not cover flooding. We were not told that when we signed up for it. Needless to say, we will be looking for another unit to store our things. I'm sure many other people will too. I'm not risking their drainage system again while I'm paying insurance and they aren't even taking care of their current tenants. It's a waste of my time and my money.

I found a youtube video that showed how to replace the scanner. It was a 9 minute video. The video shows the entire replacement process. I would have changed it myself; however, I did not know where to get a scanner. University Computer confirmed that it had a bad magenta scanner and needed replacing. I was charge 4 hours labor for something that should have been able to be done in under an hour. The scanner was $250.00 who know what the real cost should have been. I will never take anything there again. I don't mind paying for services done but I do not like being taken advantage of. My bill was over $800.00 with tax.

They may be very skilled at networking and working with a business, but they do not have the processes or personnel in place to work with the general public. I brought my PC in on Feb 1 with a keyboard issue and paid a $54 fee for diagnosis. I was contacted the next day and was told the keyboard assembly needed to be replaced, which I approved. I phoned on the 8th and was told I could come pick it up. Upon arrival, I learned that the part had not come in - I would have appreciated a call to that effect, but, no problem. The next contact I received was on 2/28 to tell me the keyboard that came in was faulty, but that another one was on order and I could pick it up Friday - seemed reasonable. When I arrived Friday I was told that the unit was not ready as the part had not come in. A phone call to that effect would have been appreciated. At this point, I had made multiple trips to the location and had enough. I asked for my PC back and requested that the diagnosis fee be refunded given that the PC had been there for 30 days since the issue was diagnosed. I was told that the fee was not refundable. When I inquired as to whether the service they were providing was reasonable, I got an affirmative response, and was then ignored for the next 25 minutes while the tech reassembled my PC. When it was finally brought out, the screen would not open fully. I waited another 20 minutes for this to be corrected and was informed that I should come back next week because they close at 5pm and the PC would not be ready. The front desk representative came back to me at some point during all this and refunded the diagnosis fee, which was appreciated.

In just over four months on 2/29/24, I received notice that my rate would be increasing to $176.00 for April's payment. At this point I called and inquired on why it was being raised so quickly, in which case they did what was called a rent adjustment and left the rate at $131.00. By 7/3/24 (just over four months later) my rate increased to $176.00, and they said that there's nothing they can do about the increase. Then once again, four months later I received another notice on 11/26/24 that my rate would be increased to $223.00 and would take effect on 1/1/25. Outrageous! My previous storage facility was also climate controlled at U-Haul, and I stored my items there for six years. Within that six-year period, my storage rate only increased three times starting at $152.00 and ended at $168.00. At public storage within one year and two months, my storage rate increased twice almost doubling what I was paying when I first moved my belongings into Public Storage. On 12/27/24 I moved my belongings from Public Storage to a competitor that is also climate controlled. My rent at the competitor's climate storage is $152.00 a month for an even larger storage unit than what I had at Public Storage. You tried to get me Public Storage, better luck getting someone else with your excessive rate increases. And lastly, the temperature is not cool in your facility. It was always too warm, even during summer months.
