So we came back to them this year for a new brochure which was very complicated as it involved multiple versions, a variance of branding requirements, numerous copy edits, and limitations regarding # of prints. I visited their office in Northbrook and was shown to their super cool movie theater room. There Jeff explained the many options for videography and had so many video examples to show. One of the options was a cinema style video, which is basically creating a movie out of someone's bar-mitzvah. The videos were so amazing that I found myself glued to the stories of random 13 year old's special days and when Jeff turned one off after a few min I was bummed I wouldn't find out what happened to Drew! Drew's bar-mitzvah kept me as engaged as some of my favorite TV shows! They also take photo montages to the next level. Jeff showed one example of an art themed bat-mitzvah where the young artist basically walked thru one of her paintings into a gallery of all of her art. I was sold and came home brainstorming many ideas for what we can do for my daughter's montage in a few years. Xpress was the only video production company I looked at and I immediately decided they were the one. Between our initial meeting, the Yelp reviews & glowing review from our planner I think they'd be tough to top!

She made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole process! From the first interactions we had via exchanging emails and our hour plus intro call, right through to our wedding day and beyond, Alysia's kindness, professionalism and generosity made her the perfect person for capturing our wedding! Alysia's willingness to customize a package to suit our needs perfectly was greatly appreciated, and she went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from photography to assisting with hair and makeup emergencies! I'm especially grateful for the extra touches, like the "mini" engagement photo session and even capturing Damsey's 14th birthday shoot (yes, our dog!). Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for creating such beautiful memories that we'll cherish forever! We couldn't be more grateful for your incredible work! If I had a nickel for every compliment I have received on our engagement photos or our wedding sneak peek photos (which she got to us in just a few days!), I feel like I'd come close to covering the cost of our wedding. In addition to complimenting our photos, our friends and family also complimented the photography/videography team for their respectful approach in capturing the day without barking out orders and directions as I'm sure everyone has witnessed at one wedding or another. Throughout the planning process, Alysia was always available via text, phone call, or email answering questions and offering expert recommendations, providing me reassurance that we were in good hands for the big day. We loved Alysia's guidance throughout the process, her respectful command of our group day-of, and her comfortable direction of us during our (free) engagement shoot and wedding day, not to mention the beautifully edited photos! Alysia met all of our expectations and more and we would recommend her to all of our family and friends. We might have to throw another wedding just to have her capture it again!

There are no words to describe the beauty of Delack's work. We ran across them about a year ago…read morethrough a friend's facebook post of their wedding trailer by Delack. Since that moment, after we watched every single one of their trailers on their website while drowning in tears, we KNEW without a doubt who we wanted to document our wedding! This was before we were even engaged! Once my husband did propose, our first call was to Nathan to check their availability. We based our date on their openings! Somehow, our favorite venue was available on the same day. We immediately booked and planned the wedding in 6 months. We were anxious to start working with Nathan, so we decided to do a "save the date" trailer to send out to our guests. WIthin a week or 2, we were shooting all around the city and having an amazing time with Nathan and his crew. The video was done in just a few days and it turned out better than our already high expectations! We put it on our website and sent it out via email. Our friends and family were sending it to others and everyone was talking about how amazing it was! It certainly gave our guests the feeling of something to look forward to! Our wedding day quickly arrived, and the anticipation for our "same day edit" was intensifying! Our guests did not know that a same day edit was taking place. After the first dance and speeches, my husband and I introduced the video. It was absolutely incredible. The entire room was in tears, and it was so amazing to see the day that had so quickly passed us by, captured in such a beautiful way. The crew was working diligently the entire day and even though it was done so quickly, it looked like something that took weeks to create! From the music, to the hollywood angles, flawless execution, and emotion in every scene, we couldn't have been more pleased with the results. We cannot wait to see the full video that Nathan and his crew at Delack have created for us. He has kept us updated and we hear it is just about finished. They work so hard and quickly...very professional as well!! Video of your wedding is the most incredible way to remember your day. But the way Delack captures every special moment and puts it together will without a doubt leave you speechless. Check out our save the date and same day edit on Delack's blog: http://delackmediagroup.com/blog/christen-and-mike-chicago-wedding-same-day-edit-video/572/ .

I came across one of his trailers on Facebook before my now-husband and I even got engaged! His work was so beautiful that it reduced me to tears (and I didn't even personally know the bride and groom!); I knew right away that Nathan (the owner and lead videographer) was a special talent and that I wanted to work with him. From our first contact, Nathan was extremely pleasant, professional, and responsive! I'm a little on the OCD side, so I loved how thorough he was and his amazing attention to detail. What's even better? On our wedding day, he and his team were so unobtrusive that we didn't even notice they were there! His rates are fairly expensive, but it's definitely some of the best money we spent. We cant wait to see our full film!

My co-worker had recently gotten married around the time I was looking for a videographer and she showed me the work that Kevin had done for her. I was instantly amazed and wanted his info ASAP! Kevin was easy to communicate with prior to the wedding and was quick to answer any and all of our questions. The day of the wedding he was by far one of the best vendors to work with. Honestly, I didn't have to worry about him at all! He was on time, came prepared and made the whole day a breeze. Within a week of our wedding Kevin had sent to us our 4 minute trailer video. My family, friends, co-workers and even strangers that we showed it to cried their eyes out! My one friend said it was like I had my very own country music video! The trailer as well as the entire wedding video was beautifully done. Kevin is extremely talented and someone I would love to work with again. The best part is he is affordable and someone you can trust. Thank you Kevin for making our big day last forever in our video! I can't wait to show my kids someday!

Photography was first on our vendor list after setting a date at OSP, especially since the list seemed like a limited one - I was a little unsure about having just a few photographers to choose from, but I need not have worried one bit; there was no need to look any further! Our first meeting was with Nick Gerber, who was our primary photographer. He is such a great photographer!! You can tell he really enjoys what he does, and he's damn good at it too--if you check out his IG @realnickgerber, you'll see what I mean. He was so fun to work with throughout the whole process...engagement photos, wedding day, all the correspondence in between. Frank teamed up with him on the wedding, and he was great and fun to be around as well. They had a wonderful way about them, and I think that sets a tone for getting really great shots. Speaking of the pictures...they are amazing! We did wait a few weeks longer than expected, but not entirely a surprise coming off peak wedding season. The photos were so worth the wait! There are some vendors you may actually miss after the big day just because you enjoy their company that much...Nick is definitely in that category.
