I don't like writing…read moreone-star reviews, and I spent enough time explaining to them how important it is to be fair and not forget the dealership's longtime clients. I was recently offered a 2026 GT3 Touring. They asked me $50K over MSRP to "start building a business relationship." I heard those familiar, luring words all over again. They apparently forgot that I've bought multiple GT cars from them, paying more than $50K in markups on each one. I made it clear that I was uncomfortable with the markup, but they still asked me to come in, so I agreed to have a dialogue. During the negotiations, I reminded them of my history with the dealership, including how many cars I've already bought and the nearly $200K I've paid in ADMs over the years. Their response was, "Its new ownership, and you need to give us something." Apparently, my entire purchase history was wiped out the moment new ownership took over. They obviously want my business, but only under their terms--and, in my opinion, those terms are sketchy. I'm actually glad they approached me at a time when I don't need to buy from them. Nevertheless, I would always consider buying a cool car. I hope this review helps some Porsche enthusiasts who are excited about building a relationship with this dealership, as well as people like me who may be seriously considering coming back.

I bought a used 530i and I noticed the lane assist camera wasn't functioning, we all thought it just needed a calibration and I was informed it would be taken care of at no cost. Once Everardo got it, he discovered it was because the windshield had been replaced at some point by a non oem windshield, and that was the problem. Obviously it's a lot more expensive for the dealership to cover an oe windshield replacement when compared to a camera calibration. I signed for the car as is, they could've totally screwed me if they wanted to, but that's not East Bay BMW's style, they told me that it would work and they made good on their promise, even though it was more work than anticipated. Legally speaking, they didn't have to do that, and most dealerships would've taken the opportunity to make some money there. I'm blown away by such honest business in this day and age, it's so uncommon, especially when dealing with larger companies. But these guys are awesome. And to top it off everyone is hella chill, friendly, and fun, but still professional over there. Salute!

Jeremias called me at 11:55 AM and through his manager Sammy we negotiated an out the door price. I made an appointment to pick up the car at 3:00 PM giving myself time to get a cashiers check for the purchase and drive down to the dealership to buy the car. Jeremias confirmed my appointment and said he would have the car detailed and ready to be picked up for when I arrived. I was able to expedite securing the funds to purchase the car and called Jeremias at 12:45 to let him know I was 10 minutes away. To my surprise he mentioned that the car I was buying was on a test drive and that he wasn't sure it would be available. To say the least, I was shocked to hear a car that I was 10 minutes from picking up and had secured an agreement to buy was now possibly no longer available. I showed up to Dublin Volvo and met Jeremias to explain why the car I was buying was out on a test drive. He stated that it was out of his hands and that there was nothing he could do. I was frustrated with the situation and returned back to work and asking Jeremias to call me once the "test drive" was done. Well no call from Jeremias so I decided to go back to Dublin Volvo and inquire about the car I was purchasing. Upon arrival I asked to speak with Sammy who said, "I'm sorry we sold the car to someone else". I reiterated to Sammy that I had made an agreement with Jeremias to buy the car and had made an appointment to purchase the vehicle, I just needed time to get a cashiers check. Sammy continued to say that they are a first come first serve dealership and that no agreement even when negotiating an OTD price is final. I asked if that was the case why didn't Jeremias ask me to make a put down a holding deposit and Sammy stated that they don't take deposits on vehicles they have on the lot. I'm incredibly shocked by this whole experience and can't believe that Volvo Dublin chose to treat a customer this way. Their business practices are very unethical and don't have the customers best interests at hand. Think twice before choosing Dublin Volvo!

We had to think about getting the right car for us. Greg never was pushy on making a sale. He was very understanding on our situation. First impressions of the car, I noticed the tints were old and bubbly from the photos online. Greg and his team gave the car a wash and redid the tints before our arrival. Some dealerships don't even do that. We were comparing it with BMW dealership in Santa Clara and it wasn't even ready to test drive after appointments were made. Diablo Motors were on top of it. Place was clean, organized, spacious, and had friendly staff and a very nice dog. They have extended warranties, and do maintenance from oil change to engine rebuilds. Again, he wasn't pushing the warranty or anything. After two visits, we walked out with a 2016 BMW with low miles, a good price, and now I know where to take my BMW to for servicing.

Instead of enjoying my new vehicle, I was immediately dealing with repairs and unexpected expenses. I ended up having to purchase a brand-new battery out of my own pocket, something that should have been caught and addressed before the vehicle was sold. This raises serious concerns about the quality of their inspections and how they prepare their used cars for sale. Buying a vehicle is a major investment, and customers should be able to trust that basic issues like a failing battery have been properly checked. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a pre-owned vehicle. Shop elsewhere and have any vehicle independently inspected before buying.
