Headed here for a spontaneous breakfast, and have been looking forward to trying this place out. I did previously attempt to contact them for a menu when planning a group breakfast (to plan ahead for those with allergies) but they were pretty unhelpful and we chose to get somewhere else.
Anyway, the fit-out is all black, and makes the space feel very small and not particularly welcoming - the layout, too, makes it kind of uncomfortable to be in because there's no space. My dining partner ordered the muesli and a coffee; I ordered avocado toast with poached eggs and an orange juice.
The orange juice had a great flavour but was room-temperature and was served without ice, which was off-putting. The coffee was okay.
The poached eggs were delicious, though I wasn't impressed with the avocado toast; the toast itself wasn't particularly nice bread and pretty much disintegrated underneath the surprise tomato buried underneath the avocado mix. It wasn't fun to eat, which was a shame, as it was very pricey. The muesli, though, was the big disappointment: the muesli itself looked and tasted to be a prepackaged mix, and the fruit wasn't fresh - it was very dull and most of it was overripe.
The entire breakfast was very expensive for both the area, and the quality of what we were given. Overall, I wouldn't seek this place out, but if I ended up back here, I would recommend the poached eggs. read more
