Racist Apartments . As A single black female I have been asking for a new parking spot since I was 6 months pregnant as I would have to crawl into my car to get in. The person next to me would always park on the line and they failed to take action for him. I begged and asked for a new spot No new spot. I complalines about the car Making it impossible to enter my car and they didn't reach out to him. Yet if I park on the line or in a different spot other than my own they force me to move immediately. I've complained for 10 months and now moving due to their lack of cooperation with a single african mother. They've given new spot to caucasian males , but refuse to help me. The Galleria area definitely tops Houston's I-want-to-live-here-fo-sho chart. It's considered to be one of the "upscale" areas of Houston. My sister lives at 3525 Sage in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the pool and she loves it. There's lots of highlights about this place.... *Direct access to freeways *Extreme shopping (can you say Galleria!? Woot woot!), restaurants, and gyms - there's a 24 Hour Fitness a block away...like a mere 5 minutes...and that's only because ya gotta actually get out of the parking garage ha. Oh and the building has it's own workout facility too which is nice. *Security is great *All residents have reserved parking, but no worries there's lots of guest parking (the top floor of the parking garage) and there's curbside parking as well *There's 17 floors - must have a key fob to gain access into the parking garage & the building. Both main entrances are in view of the 24 hour concierge *As far as describing the lobby...the only word that comes to mind is "grand". It's like hella nice. There's a grand piano, marble flooring, fancy-schmancy furniture, a tranquility garden, party room.... *BONUS - trash shoots on each floor so no having to haul it all the way downstairs yay! *There's always people in the pool. I've been staying here for two weeks starting from November. I will have an accurate review once my stay is over, so far not good. Since I've been here they switched management once and I'll start off by saying it's definitely a bad thing. I'll leave the rest of my review once my stay is finished. I couldn't have moved out of this place soon enough. Not only are there duplicitious people who live in this building, the quality of staff has plummeted since I moved in. I would not classify 3525 sage to be upscale. 1. I hear people getting evicted, moving loudly at midnight. 2. I have people vomit on my car and in my parking spot 3. Staff does not even notify the tenants about security breaches. 4. I was blatantly lied to by the "pool manager" regarding HOA rules and had to read the entire guidelines to correct her. 5. Water always goes out. 6. Security system constantly malfunctions. I would advise checking out 3000 sage, or the bristol. I wish I had known. read more

It's in a nice area and very pet friendly, that's about all i can say about this place. 3525 Sage is not upscale. The building is old and needs A LOT of improvements. I live on the 11th floor, everyday I get off work and go home, as soon as I step out of the elevator, the whole floor reeks the smell of cigarette and marijuana. During this past 4th of July, people were playing with fireworks in the park lot, i look out the window and they were literally shooting fireworks next to my car. The parking garage floods whenever there's hard rain. This older lady, who works at the front desk, is nice to certain individuals and bias/judgmental towards others. I still live here currently but I think I will be moving out fairly soon! read more

We have lived in a 1bedroom unit here for the past 5 years. I have to add my 2 cents worth to a review posted by someone in March 2017. Living here is nothing AT ALL like living in a 3rd world country. I have lived in the 3rd world and nope, not even close. Some people are so spoiled I get embarrassed for them....... We have a needed new manager. So far this year, new air conditioner towers have been installed, new cushions on the pool furniture, parking garage concrete cleaned, pump system installed to help with water ponding during torrential rains, etc etc. Yes there was a backlog but the maintaince list is being addressed. This is not a new shiny building but it also doesn't charge new shiny prices and fees. Things break when they are 30 years old. They get fixed or replaced. You get a terrific value for entry level luxury near the galleria! We have a nice mixed community here. Everything from newborn babies to retirees. Want to hang out with several residents in the lobby and watch the Rockets or Astros? This is your building. Pretty neighborly place to live in the city. Want to just jump on the elavator and chill in your room? Many do that too. read more

I have lived here one year. I will not be renewing my lease. Positives are the lobby area, location and views if on a higher view. Nothing else. The negatives are many. Property management is incompetent. A new management company starts July 2015. Perhaps that will help. The building is deteriorating. Elevators don't work often. Especially the elevator which is needed to move large objects. A definite pain if you are trying to move in or out and that elevator is not working. There are only 3 elevators for use. 3 elevators for 300 units. A terrible ratio. It is very common for electricity and water to be interrupted for hours at a time. Hot water is intermittent at times although it has gotten better in May/June 2015. I love dogs. Unfortunately, you will frequently see dog excrement in the elevators and lobby areas. Finally, the parking garage. Many parking spaces once were marked for compact vehicles. They are now used by any size vehicle. It is difficult to get in and out of cars. When it rains hard, the garage first floor and lobby floods. It was beyond horrible during the May 2015 rainstorm. They knew it would be a problem in advance and were not proactive. They don't appear to be proactive in general. Do yourself a favor. Do not rent here. You can do much better elsewhere. Especially don't buy here. I doubt their reserve funds are adequate and the building is aging rapidly. read more
