Staff takes really good care of my truck, they help with picking up my bags, they greet you with smiles, 90% of the staff say "welcome in" and they hold the door for me. One thing I'm not too happy about is when I visit my friends here. I have to see the glass is broken at the front door. I can't believe they pay all that money just to come home to a broken glass for months it's been close to a year.... Other than that one thing, it's a nice place to live/visit. It's very safe, clean, fresh smelling, the pools are very clean, the outside gets dusted, the dry sauna gets cleaned a few times a week, the COFFEE BAR is small but amazing don't let the size of the bar fool you.. Overall, this is a beautiful safe place and the staff is the best EVER!!! I've been to many condos here in Houston, I brag about this place so much I have a few friends living here now. I give this place a 10/10

The reason they wouldn't honor the advertised rate was stated as "it's just business". Well, no, they have laws against that. Not that I can say that this surprised me after all they did screw me over more than a decade ago. The management made a verbal agreement upon our move out and than conveniently forgot all about it. I will forever stay away from this place... if you don't take my advice to stay away, at least check out other high rise properties since nearly all of them are better then this dump.

Several people were stuck on the elevators for over an hour during my stay here. The valets did not speak English and the management was terrible!! They were a gossiping bunch particularly about the tenants. The building looks great from the outside but watch out if you move in! The water was turned off often due to pipe replacement. Many of the units have outdated appliances and old carpet. The Parklane is home to a lot of retirees and I believe this is why there are not many postings. Not worth the money. The best part about living is the Parklane is the surrounding area. It's the ghetto of high rises.

The freeway system is close at hand and I can get to BOTH Houston airports quickly on my own or via UBER. Nearby new restaurants, nightclubs, grocery stores, pharmacies, paramedic services (across the street) optimize our time. With brand new MASSIVE IMPROVEMENTS to road and building construction just announced (I-45/PIERCE TEXAS D.O.T. PROJECTS), an incredible renaissance is underway. The building's culture incudes a mix of young professionals, affluent retirees, doctors, students, attorneys, engineers, college professors and business owners. One-site management and 24-hour security are a big plus. Planning for an amazing new 6th floor outdoor recreation/pool area is underway and a new exercise room and coffee/social/meeting room was recently completed. Parking is indoors and spaces are individually OWNED. As to economics? - The value proposition is incredible, and values have been rising steadily for years. ALL UTILITIES are included in the monthly H.O.A. ANYONE relocating to Houston and wanting to OWN great infrastructure (building build by LINBEC) in a regionally famous venue (The movie, "URBAN COWBOY" with John Travolta and Debra Winger was filmed in our penthouses) should take serious note of the 2016 Main value, services, location and future appreciation proposition.
