Very unassuming venue. From the moment we arrived the servers were incredibly attentive.
We ordered Garlic Bread to start - (4euro) This was plenty to share.
I then had Roasted Chicken breast, Roasted Root veg (cooked al dente) and Mashed potato (13euro).
I asked for a little garlic butter for the mash - this was with me within seconds and was gorgeous.
My Partner ordered a Steak Sandwich with Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce (15euro).
This came with a lovely lightly dressed salad and your choice of shoestring, chunky or Sweet potato fries. Jack Daniels BBQ sauce is now his favourite thing ever!
We finished off with an order of Apple pie (5euro) and a Chocolate brownie Sundae(5euro) served in a half pint glass. The dessert portions are huge - defo big enough to share one between 2 people!
We had the following drinks:
Carlsberg = 5euro
Vodka = 5euro
Cranberry juice = 2.70 euro
Espresso Martini = 10euro
Jameson Whiskey = 5euro
Our bill finished up at just under 100 euro.
Our server was named Ferga - a student in CIT. She was a pleasure to be served by and was able to rattle off the specials for the evening like nothing I've ever seen.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who's planning a night out in Cork. We will certainly be returning! read more
