Not only is she talented, she is kind, funny, and really interesting to talk to. I was in need of a 'pick me up' w/my hair and I got it! I am 66 and have had my hair cut and colored all over the world, and I have to say Caitlin is one of the best. Wish I lived in Cincinnati, I'd be a regular! The salon is peaceful and trendy, without being intimidating. The salon manager, Jack communicated clearly with me by email, and was so helpful when I was making my appointment. They were also prompt in responding to my questions, which can be a rarity these days. The front desk staff was so welcoming and made me feel like a long time cherished customer. They gave me recommendations on restaurants and places to visit in the area (shout out Victoria!), as it was my first time to Cincinnati. The girls at the front desk are always friendly and attentive ... and even if they do try to sell me on the monthly wax packages, they do it in a way that says they care about me saving money on services. Lauren has been my go-to technician since I started coming here ... and she's easily the best waxer I've ever had. She's fast and thorough, and makes you feel comfortable during the less enjoyable parts of a wax. I would definitely recommend booking with Lauren. That said, my most recent visit was with a different technician because Lauren was on vacation. I've had a pixie many times in my life before but it's always the same reassurances that I really do know what I want. Not with JJ. I told him I wanted it longer on top with an undercut, showed him some pictures, and then he got to work. He was fantastic about checking in throughout to make sure it was looking how I wanted, thoroughly explained what products he was using, why and how he was using them, plus the conversation was excellent. Oh, and did I mention that I LOVE my haircut? On top of all that the price was great.
