The owner Joe swore at my daughter! I went to 312 Nails and Spa in Wheeling hoping to treat myself to a relaxing dip powder manicure and pedicure--but it turned out to be one of the worst and most painful experiences I've ever had at a nail salon. The nail technician, Tina, used the electric file so aggressively that she actually nicked my skin and left my nails feeling raw and sore. The dip powder was applied sloppily, with product all over my fingers and uneven shaping. The final result looked nothing like what I asked for--just lumpy, crooked nails that were painful to the touch. My pedicure was no better--uneven toenails, poorly filed, different lengths, and polish smeared outside the nail beds. I left the salon feeling frustrated and embarrassed. When I got home, I was visibly upset. My daughter called the salon to explain what happened. Joe the manager asked us to come in so they could fix it. I hoped they would take accountability and treat me with respect. Instead, we were met with even worse treatment. Joe the OWNER came out and immediately acted rude and dismissive. He kept saying "What's wrong?" in a mocking, sarcastic tone, as if I didn't have a right to be upset about the condition of my nails. When my daughter calmly tried to explain, he pointed his finger in her face and actually swore at her. Yes--the owner of the salon cursed at my daughter instead of apologizing or trying to make things right. The manager, also named Joe? offered to redo the nails, but at that point, I was already in pain from the poor application and overuse of tools. I asked to have the nails removed and to receive a refund, but they refused, claiming my nails were "perfect." I could barely believe it. This nail salon in Wheeling is not only unprofessional, but also disrespectful and unsafe. If you're looking for a nail spa near me, or the best place for a dip powder manicure and pedicure, do not come here or any of their other locations. The owner and manager do not deserve your business. They clearly have no quality standards, no customer service, and no respect for their clients--especially elderly ones like me. I later saw they have a D rating with the Better Business Bureau, and I'm not surprised. I wish I had read the reviews before walking in. I left hurt, humiliated, and with damaged nails. Avoid 312 Nails and Spa at all costs.

DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON! THIS IS YOUR WARNING. DO. NOT. GO. I had an appalling experience at this salon that not only demonstrated a complete disregard for basic professionalism, but also raised serious questions about licensing and training. I came in for a Gel-X set and a pedicure--services I've had many times at reputable salons without issue. What I received here was not only sloppy but flat out dangerous. The nail tech, Cindy, cured glue directly onto the skin of my fingers. This isn't a minor mistake--it's an egregious violation of industry health and safety standards. Curing nail adhesive on the skin can lead to severe allergic reactions, including medical grade adhesives like those used in titanium implants. This dangerous exposure can create allergies, contact dermatitis, and obviously pain. This is not just poor workmanship--it's a liability. When I calmly addressed the issue, the man at the front desk confronted the nail tech in front of me and other clients, demanding an explanation. Cindy deflected all responsibility and claimed it was my fault for choosing Gel-X, stating my nails were "too small." If that were genuinely a concern, she should've refused the service up front. That's what a professional does. Instead, she went ahead, botched the job, and placed the blame on me. The nails were misshapen, uneven, and painfully thick--chunky to the point of being unusable. I could not use my fingers. She also cut me multiple times. I normally do my own nails, and frankly, I could have and should've have done better with a basic kit at home. They refused to soak off the set, refused to fix the issue, and refused to issue a full refund. I was told to "go somewhere else" for a correction and only received a partial refund ($40). For context, I spent $120 at this salon for these basic nails and a pedicure. The pedicure chipped the same day and also looked terrible. All of this happened the day before prom. I then had to go to another salon, pay $65 out of pocket to have the nails safely soaked off and redone correctly, and explain the situation to professionals who were frankly shocked by the condition of the set I arrived with. The nail techs at the other salon were impressed with the pricing and job done to my nails. They also expressed just how terrible these nails were. To make matters worse, I was hung up on multiple times when I tried to call back and escalate the issue. No apology, no accountability--just dismissal and silence. This place operates with zero concern for customer safety, zero accountability, and questionable training at best. If Cindy's work reflects the salon's standards, it's hard to believe she's licensed at all. Avoid this salon at all costs. There are too many qualified, responsible nail techs out there to risk this kind of experience. DO NOT GO.

Very clean establishment located in a nice area with lots of parking. Very nice ambiance, and good vibes. I went in for an overlay nail job on my own nails and I did not believe this work was worth the price charged. Techs try to sell you other services and make you feel pressured. High dollar in my opinion and my fingers hurt for 2 days. They had many hang nails. I personally don't recommend. They did not have colored powders which I asked for. They use polish on top of overlay.

I've been going to this salon for years and went here with a friend today. I made an appointment with Max, as he always does a wonderful job, but they disregarded my request and handed me off to another random nail tech. They didn't have the color I requested, so had to pick out a different one (this happens all the time). She got gel polish all over my cuticles, and when I asked her to do a simple star, she had to try 3 times, and it ended up looking a bit wonky. Walked out with gel all over the skin around my nails and hands, and my friend had a similarly poor experience.

I had gone in to get a fill for powder gel on 4/26/2024, which I had first originally gotten the full set powder gel at 312 Nails in Arlington Heights, IL. These both were okay and in my opinion, the Arlington Heights location did a better job. It lasted about a week before my nails were chipping off in some areas. I went in today, 5/5/2024, to just get them removed because I was done with have them on and looking broken. It wasn't a pleasant experience for either me or the nail technician, considering the consistent filing and soaking for each finger. AND they still didn't get everything off. I was nice and patient with the nail tech as she tried what she could. I thought, "well it is what it is" and the price for nail removal is $5 by 312 Nails' standards. I go up to checkout in which the man at the front tells me it's $20. I said, "what? I just got them removed and I had gotten them done here (the Wheeling location) for a fill." He just said, "I know, but it was hard to take off so it's $20." How is that my fault?? Now, my nails are left brittle and weak with still some powder gel on. I still paid, and I never leave bad reviews, but this is truly unacceptable. Why would I come at all if the state of my nails would be left like this? YOU are supposed to be the professionals with the expertise to be able to take off the nails YOU put on. All I can do is leave a review, as I wouldn't want anyone else to experience something like this.

Place is huge, looks clean and modern. Went in there first time, I wasn't sure what to expect and since I've been meaning to try the dip manicure. Staff were helpful and recommended me to give it a try and I'm happy I did. They even offered drinks as a complimentary, I just didn't need it. Julie was my technician, she was great at it. I had dip manicure and regular foot spa pedicure with polish with a total of $80.00 plus tip of course. It's worth it, even after 1 week it still really looks good and I would think this will really last for a long time. Thanks a lot!

Well, I decided to get my nails done on Sunday in a pinch because I'm from out of state and this experience is definitely one I won't forget! :) Not only did they not realize I was Vietnamese and could understand them, they were talking about how my breasts were out and one of the technicians was just complaining for 40 minutes about how my nail design was so tedious and how she didn't want to do it. But that's not it, they made my husband bleed out and she absolutely destroyed my cuticles. But the nail design was decent. Shout out to my own people.

Well, I have been to 312 four times in the last two years. I tried them once on a friend's recommendation to be very disappointed. I was doing my own manicures for a while until I started working at a bar on occasional weekends and my nails were breaking. I went back to 312 by recommendation of a another friend who swore the nail tech was amazing and - she was not. The owner had someone redo my nails the following week and they turned out great. Did exactly as asked - thickness and shape - three layers of dip, clear coat - square. I went back to the same person to do a dip today and he absolutely demolished them. I asked for a chrome color, said to remember I like them thin, and purposely asked if they would look how I like and he said yes. Next thing I know I am five layers in for the clear dip powder. Followed by two gel clear coats. Then two black gel coats. He said it's still fine/thin - it's needed for the chrome powder (clearly I haven't had it before). Finally arrives the chrome powder on the right hand. Unfortunately the left baked too long and the powder wouldn't stick. So another black coat on the left hand. Finally, the last clear coat. I eventually stopped watching and kept thinking it would be okay, it's going to look fine, he did a great job last time. Not. Even. Close. Very bumpy, very thick, and, didn't shape them square - I said they were the perfect shape when we started. So that's 10 total layers on one hand, 11 on the other. In the sun, the best part is, you can see the black layers because the chrome isn't even. The sweetest irony is the pedicurist asked if I wanted a manicure not knowing I just had one. When I said it was just done her face was in disbelief. She was very nice, but she used an old, gloppy nail polish that smeared after two hours. I didn't notice how thick/sticky it was til she had already done one coat - I was working while getting that done - figured it would eventually dry. I complained, nicely. They charged me for the pedicure, the manager (?) was going to have the owner call me. I got a notification from my bank that they charged me for the manicure I left without my consent - Total of $98. You want to compromise? Sure, let's talk. Don't swear at me over the phone when I call to ask what happened and said my nails are f'd up and they need to refund the manicure - it simply needs to be redone. I was told the guy didn't need this SH#&, talk to Joe. Swore at me again when I calmly called back asking for Joe's number. Two hours of my time. More with driving and having to repaint my toes when I got home. Best of all, I had surgery last Thursday and really was looking forward to a relaxing time and feeling lovely. I would have discussed it, but now I have filed a dispute with Chase and shown them pictures. Not mad, but a fairly costly and time-consuming learning lesson. Clearly I will never go to 312 again. :)

highly recommend. the manager and the staff are supper nice. clean place and advanced equipment. usually Cindy does my nails she's the sweetest. today I got the best pedicure in my life .. if you're tired and want to get relaxed you should get an appointment with JAY... she's absolutely amazing :)

Hit or miss, and absurd pricing. The first time I patronized this establishment, I was impressed with Tina's abilities doing nail art with intricate designs for the winter season, although the acrylic application was a bit thick. The wait was around 20 mins, but I was offered a beverage and was able to sit in the pedicure massage chair to get my experience started. It felt like a splurge over the holidays for a full set and a top-of-the-line pedicure that netted out at around $200 with tip. The second time, not so much. I was on a tight schedule but as I arrived to my appointment (on time), the host let me know that Tina would AGAIN need 15 to 20 more minutes to finish her previous client. Since I didn't have the time to spare I acknowledged that having a different technician complete my pedicure would be sufficient. The pedicure took much longer than expected, and I was sitting at the bowl for another 10 to 15 minutes after completion with no one servicing me because Tina had moved onto another client. I flagged down the host again to let him know that I really needed to leave soon to be able to meet my other obligations, and he flagged down yet another technician to do my fill-in acrylic powder. This technician was even less experienced than the first, it seems, because to cut down and re-shape my nails to prepare for the fill took him the better part of 30 minutes, and I had to coach him through a shape I'm frankly still unsatisfied with. By the time he finished another 30 minutes later (an hour total for not even any design or painting because I was so frustrated at the time), I was extremely late to my next engagement to the tune of $115. I arrived at 2:30 and rushed to leave at 5 with nothing special. I will likely not return to this establishment because they have little regard for appointments or any other needs of their patrons. read more

Fuming here: Zero stars for lack of transparency. No prices listed anywhere. Owner said it's online but it's not on salon site. He was fumbling with words like he hasn't had time to make brochures but this place has been here for months. Like a review before, seems they can charge whatever. I get they had a bump due to supply chain issue but still very steep. I had to tell the girl to use separate container for dip. She also had a visible wart on her hand or some kind of rash. No shame in that but put on some gloves then! Really?! People seated not six feet apart (customers). No lotion offered. Mmm no shady vibes. See all the negative reviews. It's all show but not clean enough. Edit: first nail broke this morning with tip on. Got it fixed elsewhere and settled for different polish. Now, second nail breaks. Never ever had this happen to me. There goes $55 dollars. Garbage. read more

I used to go to 312 Nails often when I lived in Wheeling, and I almost always had a good experience, however after today, I have to agree with the many negative reviews on this page. At 11:30am, I called and scheduled an appointment for a Deluxe Pedicure and a full set manicure with dip for my mom for Mother's Day (to be clear, this was not ON Mother's Day, but 2 days after, so they were not busy). The appointment was at 1:30pm and she arrived 15 minutes early so she could look through and pick a color. Right away, a technician approached her and told her to come sit in a chair. My mom said she wanted to take a few minutes to pick out a color, but the tech grabbed 3 random colors off the wall and told her to sit. When the pedicure started, my mom realized she was not receiving a "Deluxe" pedicure and reiterated twice what she wanted, but the woman ignored her and continued on with the regular pedicure. When it came time for her manicure, they said they told her they only had 2 people who could do the full set and they were both busy. They also said they couldn't do dip polish on a full set. None of this was explained to me when I made the appointment. The person on the phone even repeated what I said after me, so I assumed all was fine. At this point, my mom decided to go somewhere else to get the services she wanted. When she went to check out, the person at the front tried to charge her for the Deluxe pedicure. She explained what had happened and they ended up charging her for just the regular pedicure that she received. I'm extremely disappointed to hear that this salon's customer service has suffered so badly. We'll be looking for a different nail salon to go to, but please, treat your customers better. read more

Brand new nail salon, and I've been here twice so far. I absolutely love it!! Everyone is so nice & friendly! They also offer you a Beverage while you get your nails done! So nice! I had my nails done by Joe the 1st time I went and he was amazing. I love that 312 is Down the street from my house! I finally found a nail salon that I love! They also have a TON of colors to pick from, and the salon itself is clean and has beautiful decor. Great music too! Make sure to try the deluxe pedicure too! I had the lavender one yesterday and it was amazing!! Thank you Joe and the rest of the wonderful staff! I am for sure going to be a regular customer! read more

I have been coming here for some time, and agree with many of the reviews I see here. Service is ALWAYS a hit or miss. I've always made an appointment to come into this salon and they will still make you wait. I once made an appointment for 6pm and when I got there the nail tech I requested was just starting someone else! I saw someone mention the pricing on the reviews here and I 100% agree - pricing seems to be all over the place. I normally get a set of dip nails and sometimes I'm charged $45 and sometimes I'm charged $60. This will probably be my last visit as I made an appointment to get some cateye nails done, at first the appointment was going well and when it came to use the magnet on the polish it seemed to not be working, or the tech didn't know what she was doing .(she never explained to me what the issue was) She started asking a co worker to help her, the owner came over and didn't say one word. I took my adult daughters on a Tuesday. 3 of us with a 10AM first time visit. This place is very disorganized and it was clear their technicians were coming in late. Several of us including myself and one of my daughters waited over twenty minutes. A man was running around trying to check people in, he told us the wrong nail color wheel to look at then the colors chosen the nail color was missing. So after picking colors, we had to start over. It was 20 minutes after our appointment and 2 of us were still waiting. My nail tech tried to upsell me. I said no. I never had a salon start so behind on an appointment. I felt like my experience was rushed. If you don't have the people, don't overbook and create a bad experience. The least you can do is offer the upsell at no cost for the wait. It's a pretty salon, but the experience was poor. read more

Being I am in the customer service industry I understand the importance of returning messages especially if a client isn't happy. I had high hopes this place looked absolutely gorgeous my appointment ran on time, the woman was lovely, and I understand human error , i had a no chip pedicure that was Chipped before I got home. Not a big deal by any means but I left several messages to see when I could come in to have it fixed with zero response which upsets me because at the end of the day $55 pedicure plus a $20 tip should not have a chip in it under 24 hours, let alone ignore me. read more

I used to go here often but now I'm starting to agree with these reviews. They could care less if your in a rush or if your appointment is at 3:15 your still gonna have to wait an hour anyways. ABSOLUTE WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT SPEND A PENNY AT THIS SALON! If I could give zero stars I would. I asked for a full set of French tips with chrome powder on top, in the menu it showed that French was $60, and the chrome powder was an additional 15. simple math! 60+15 = 75. once I finished and was ready to pay, the manager was trying to charge me $90, claiming that the arch of my French tip costed an additional $15. absolutely insane when i have a basic french manicure!. I told him I was not going to pay $90 for a $75 service, and he threatened to call the cops on me. A week earlier my friend went to the same nail salon and got French tip with a design on each nail and was charged $65. I continued to explain my situation to the manager in a calm manner, but he claimed that I was being disrespectful and even walked away from me while I was trying to talk to him. I understand that each set may cost a different price, but I do not appreciate being threatened with the cops, or getting charged made up prices for a standard set. I'm beyond livid and will be disputing this irrational charge because honesty is the bottom line standard on a business and this place doesn't have any. read more

Worst experience ever! Young man with earrings did my nails and he had the worst attitude. He cut me two times and said it was "necessary" but I've never gotten cut so much getting my nails done. He gave me dirty looks while doing my nails because I kept asking questions about my nails. The nails came out crooked as well. read more

The best nail salon on earth!! I have been to so many nail salons and this one tops all. It is such a friendly and welcoming environment. The owner is so sweet and everyone working there is very kind. I have never left disappointed. Everyone there does beautiful nails. They are all very talented. I have very thin brittle nails and they always make sure to take care of them and be gentle. My favorite place!!! read more

I've been coming to 312 since the day it opened! I have yet to have a bad experience here. I have gone to many different techs, and each time have I had satisfactory results. I have gotten no chip, acrylic, pedicures and now most recently dip (picture included) and I am so satisfied with my results. If I want something different or a special design, they are able to do it. I can't recommend 312 enough. read more

I really hate to be the person to leave a bed review for a place, but I genuinely feel like this place has gone downhill. I've come to this salon for a few years now, but recently took a couple months off of getting my nails done. I went in on Friday morning for an appointment I had made online, checked in and was picking out a color. The staff seemed very confused and discombobulated and couldn't seem to find my name even though I checked in on their iPad. That aside, when I was getting my services, (dip manicure & polish change toe) the nail tech seemed annoyed to have to do my service as well as not asking me what shape I wanted and my nails ended up not how I wanted. I am not the person to go back into a salon or say when I don't love a service because it really makes me uncomfortable. I just feel like the service was not great, my nails look bulky & misshaped, and I felt like a nuisance. Really disappointed. Not to mention I paid $63 and supposedly got $10 off. Very expensive for such a mediocre job. read more

We had an appointment for 3 but waiting 30min for pedicures. The guy who did my pedicure started going in on everything wrong with my feet, telling me I can't wear nail polish for longer than a week and pointing out all of the dead skin. I've had many many pedicures in my life and have never had this happen... the service took about 7 min total and they did barely anything. When he was done there was still polish all over my skin and he said he couldn't get it off because of how short they were...but he's the one who cut them that short. Will not come back. Honestly it's the worst pedicures I've ever had because it came with insults and bad results. read more

I really loved coming here because of the quality of the nail designs. I came here religiously for about a year and a half, my nails never being strong enough to go without acrylics and I never understood why. However, when I switched to a private nail artist and she soaked off my previous acrylic set from 312 nails in order to start fresh, it was very evident to both of us that the powder that they have been using on me has mma. You can't tell when you get your nails done at this salon because they try to convince you that peeling off and snapping off the old set is ok, although it's not because it caused my nails to be brittle and weak as layers of nail would peel off with the acrylic. That way though, you can't see that as it soaks off it turns into a clear sticky gelatin which is how you know it's mma. I've gotten my nails done for years so I do know what a soak off should look like, that was very very evident it was mma. My nails also had multiple rings of fire due to the method of drilling. Their prices have also sky rocketed which wouldn't be such an issue if it reflected in the quality of the products used. For the health of your nails I suggest you look elsewhere. At least until they change their practices and educate the nail techs on products, application and removal. read more

There is a lot that was going on. My appointment was at 4:30 got there on time. Heard them telling a person who was doing a walk in that it would be a 30 min wait. Then continued to take her before me. Then 20 minutes later a lady came and asked what I wanted done, so I showed her a picture and kept insisting I needed a new set (I was just there for a fill) I explained how I had just gotten the set 2-3 weeks ago. At their place! She kept giving attitude and told me to wash my hand. I sat down and was changed on who was going to do my nails 3xs. Was there for 1 hour and nothing had been done besides the removal of the other set.( I just told them to do what would be easier for them) they talked in their language and then looked at me and started laughing. I felt so humiliated and stupid for staying. Finally somebody took care of me and I explained what I wanted. She said price would be $135! That's crazy. She said because they were longer than last time mind you they were the same size. So I told her okay make it shorter so it wouldn't be so expensive then she told me that It wouldn't make such a difference? She asked me ti pick the nude color that I liked for the base of my nail and then comes back and tells me they don't have it to pick another one. I was annoyed by now I let her shape my nails and do the nude color and just told her I was leaving. I went up to pay and the person working up front asked how was everything I didn't want to make a show so I told her it was not good and if I could please just pay and get out. She asked again so I told her. Come to find out one of the guys who was laughing and looking at me was the MANAGER ! She gave me 20% off for the experience and later on the manager called me and said how he was sorry that he was just telling them to hurry up and work on me cuz I had been waiting there for a while. Which was total BS! He kept insisting he wasn't talking about me and was sorry and should have been talking in English.. the point is idc what u speak , but when it comes to your customers be respectful!!!!!! If he was just telling them to hurry up like he said he was why not say it in English so I could understand?! I will not be going back. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience and get some time to myself without the kids and it was the total opposite ! Never again !! read more

ZERO STARS!! I came in asking for a chrome polish and was quoted $55. She did the work very sloppily. I wasn't offered anything to drink when I sat down.... as she was doing the chrome application, the color didn't match. She took the chrome top coat off and left a gold stripe down the side of my nail.... she left it that way. Near the end of my "service", I asked if I was gonna get lotion or a hot towel. She pointed to the bottle and said, "There's the lotion." What??? As I washed my hands prior to applying my own lotion, I noticed that several nails didn't match!!! One of the owners/managers fixed them, but NO ONE cleaned up my nails... see pictures. Then, I was asked how much my service was... shouldn't they know that?? I told them that I was quoted $55. The little girl comes stomping over to challenge me... as she walked away, I heard her call me a liar!!! Apparently, the chrome is $15 extra. He did charge me 55, but considering the inferior service and the shoddy job done, I should have paid nothing. I've been going here since they opened.....NO more!!!! read more

I live in the next Apt, thats why I liked to go to 312 however i went there only twice. I like to have pretty toe nails, maybe its not for everyone but to me its really important. Also, when I was in School I used to work in Nail Salon for almost 4 years. I know what I'm talking about and I know what's a nail salon business industry. When I don't have a time I do my own nails. But since I moved here Its pretty close and I can walk there. In 312 there're daughter and mother work together and look like they're pretty good technicians but when I showed a picture and requested significant french design which I loved, the daughter always come across between her mom and I because her mon doesn't speak English. I don't mind if her mom speaks in EN or not. Its non of my business, unless she get what I'm showing on my phone and what I want, I thought it won't be a problem but her daughter didn't want her to do the way I want, she keep lied such as " the color won't visible or thats not how it will be" or something always argued. Which was very uncomfortable to me because I know that won't be a problem. If that type of french is not existing how could I have the video and photo of it on my IG "saved"??? It seems like she tried to make her mom not doing much work on it, she wants something easy, because finally I had to say straight "this is exactly what I want or I will leave and finally the daughter did my pedicure and she was throwing things around speaking on her own language to other technicians and all of them looking at me pointing and obviously they've talked about me or whatever happened. Also, she was pushing my leg so mean and keep saying "move, "move. If I was a technician and got some attitude on my costumer I'd be already fired because costumers asks the favorite style of french pedicure basically she've not right to argue or someone else can do it and paid for the service. I left $5 tip because it was discussting experience. And today I called again asked if there's another technician available and I booked I saw them again talking about me and rolling their eyes to each other everything was obvious. The whole salon technicians were looking at me and the daughter keep talking while she's having her costumer. I've had another lady she destroyed my toes and everything no skills at all. And I mentioned that I'm not satisfied with my pedicure but i ll pay but one of the lady who took the payment said "we ll not show u service again" how could she think that I'd be back? Always remember First costumer service because no costumer means no business!!! And costumer satisfaction It was 0 And no Ethics Those Technicians think that all the costumers will chose whatever you say. I'm a business Law student I'll file a report for costumer protection office and state BBB This company needs a regulation. Very disappointed. read more

Tina did my manicure and did a terrible job. After one hour of telling her I wanted pink and white ombré she kept saying she couldn't do white. So I choose pink and blue and then she's like oh I can do pink and white. After all That she didn't even put cuticle caoftener on my cuticles. I've been every month of my pregnancy to this place and I've been growing my own nails so I just do acrylic filler and no chip color, usually I go with the same person but this time I had to leave because this time a new young man was gonna do my nails and he refused to my nails bc I wanted to keep my real nails and he wanted to cut them and glue fake nails, and gave me a whole talk about his life , how expensive it's to learn to do nails and he only uses expensive products and that he is a whole professional and he was not gonna waist his time doing my ugly nails and I had to stop him from cutting them literally because he didn't even asked if I was fine with that decision, I almost cried bc it was so hard for me growing them, so it's their lost because the young man that usually does my nails he was the one who gave a couple tips to grow my nails and not ruining them, like just filling with acrylic, so it doesn't make sense to me that this other person wanted to do whatever he wanted with my nails and just ruined my nails because he started and felt like he wasn't gonna do what I asked, It just felt like if you go to the salon and want to cut your hair and explain what you want and the stylist wants to do what ever they want bc they are professionals and cut your whole hair you've been growing , bad vibes and bad service from this place, and also the worst thing the manager told me that if I wanted the service I had to still waiting for someone who wanted to do my nails. My girl and I came here to get her nails done. Lets just say, they sucked. The transpency on them was shitty, you can already tell it was a poor job just looking at them. Second. The lady doing my girls nails was talking shit in her fluent language, which so happens to be my girls fluent language as well. How dare you sit and talk about somebody like that? Imagine getting a job to work with people just to sit and talk shit about them with your coworkers. You want to judge somebody about there outfit? Or even a feature on there body? Are you serious? I go to the northbrook location because of convenience. I have also been to the wheeling location that is much larger. I think that the Northbrook location does a fabulous dip manicure. I don't have a standing appointment so I get different manicurists and they're all very good with dip manicures. Definitely recommend 312 Nails read more

I had asked for a DIP French manicure at the other salon and it looked absolutely horrible, as the technician was not well experienced in the DIP technique. I used to be a regular here with Helen but recently (past 2 times I've gone) it's been frustrating as she double book appointments for the same time. The first time this happened, she told me to text her next time I wanted to make an appointment with her directly and after doing this and confirming the time multiple times, upon arrival, I was told to come back again at a later time. I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this nail salon was extremely upsetting. I was treated with complete disrespect by a nail technician despite being calm, polite, and patient the entire time. He asked me questions about my service, and I answered nicely and without any attitude. Out of nowhere, he became dismissive, walked away from me, and began yelling. I was shocked and hurt by how unprofessional and inconsiderate he was. From the start, he gave off the impression that he did not want to do my nails, and his nasty attitude made me feel uncomfortable. What made the situation worse was that instead of addressing his behavior, another nail technician made excuses for him--saying he had worked all day, had a child, and had a bad experience with a Black customer the day before. None of that had anything to do with me, and it does not justify treating a customer so poorly. I was so overwhelmed by the way I was spoken to that I ended up crying. On top of everything, I was incorrectly charged for a full set when I only received a fill-in. The entire experience was distasteful, unprofessional, and disappointing. No customer deserves to be treated this way, especially when they are respectful. I will not be returning. read more

I stumbled across 312 Nails after searching high and low for a nail salon in the area after moving to town this past month and all I have to say is wow! For starters, the salon was immaculate with plenty of space and the proper partitions and safety protocols in place to make their guests feel safe amidst the pandemic. On top of this, all nail techs/staff I encountered were incredibly friendly. I was offered a complimentary drink upon arrival and it was expressed multiple times how thankful they were that I chose their salon to support and that they hoped I'd come back again. Needless to say, I will most definitely be back! I got both a pedicure and a full set with no chip and both turned out amazing, not to mention super affordable (they're even currently offering 20% off for new customers). This salon is despicable. I had an appointment for 10 o'clock with Mike for a pedicure and a full set of acrylic nails. After walking in the door at 9:55 three technicians were working on other women, there was no one at the front desk and no one acknowledged me. After five minutes I asked one of the technicians if Mike was there since I had a 10 o'clock appointment. Neither of the three technicians wanted to talk to me ..they had no interest in me or Mike not being there. After about 10 minutes of waiting for them trying to call Mike and Joe they just had nothing to say to me and I left. Joe you have done my nails a number of times. What happened to me was not the way to treat customers and I will never return to your salon again. I was treated like a piece of dirt and see from other reviews that that seems to be the norm in your salon. What a shame. Zero stars would be too many for this salon. read more

I went to Sabrina to get a deluxe pedicure this past Sunday and it was great. Sabrina is very professional and very nice. She takes her time to and makes sure everything is okay with the service. My wife and I started going to 312 Nails and Spa in January of 2021 since it is very close to where we live. We are very happy to get pedicures here. My wife, Alison also gets a Manicure done with Tina. Tina is also very nice and professional as well. We both love Tina and Sabrina. The manager Joe is very nice and welcoming as well. I also like that this Spa is very clean and makes sure the staff and customers are following guidelines to remain safe during a pandemic. Thank you so much for a great service. If you want to be treated like a piece of dirt, this is the salon for you. Joe you have done my nails many times but this last instance when I had a 10 o'clock appointment with Mike for a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure and Mike didn't show and could not be reached and then the girls called you and you could care less and the three technicians that were there could absolutely care less. This was the last time that I ever will enter your salon. I was treated so rudely by your staff and Mike you, as owner should be ashamed. Train your staff and be a manager on site. Soo distasteful.. Zero stars would be way too much for this place. From what I heard from other clients waiting, this is the NORM for your salon. read more

Today was my first visit and it was great in all aspects! I was greeted and checked in with my temp check and then they helped me to find the perfect colors. I didn't catch the first guys name who started my nails but he was very nice and did a great job and then Steven took over to do an amazing French with a dip manicure (designs are harder as you may know with dip) you can tell he was a perfectionist. I also met and had nice conversation with the owner. The salon was so clean and beautiful, my nails look amazing and I will definitely be going back! read more

I moved to the Northbrook area recently and found Sander Nail. I was so happy to find them as they are really a wonderful Salon with lots of pampering. I have been going their now for sometime and the owner's Joe and Lee are wonderful and so friendly and make you feel at home. Mae is the young lady that does my nails and she is just fabulous. Also, the Salon is very clean and fashionable. I'm so happy with Sander Nail Spa and will continue to give them my business and recommend them to others. read more

i will definitely be coming back!! outstanding customer service!! I felt very comfortable here NO PRESSURE!! Joe wants to learn how you like your nails by asking questions :)!! The shape is on point!! pedicure was very relaxing!! comfortable setting! There was a staff member cleaning the entire time I was there!! As a mom to a 7 month old I don't always have the time to get away for self care. My nails were looking a little rough seeing it had been about 6 weeks since my last dip manicure. I can't rave about Helen enough. She was patient, meticulous and gentle. She took her time and never once judged, as she is a mom herself. The end result was totally worth it. I've come here a few times since moving to Palatine and I've always loved how my nails turn out (usually do a no chip and pedi). I love the atmosphere and their pedicures are always the best. But today I decided to do a full set. I had Joe as my nail technician and he wanted to add a design to my nails and I'm glad I did. He did an awesome job! Im obsessed with how perfect they look! I can't speak highly enough of this place!! Everyone there was very nice and helpful! I had my nails done by Helen and she did a really great job! I had really short nails so i had a dip with tips and i'm in love with how they turned out! Helen is a sweetheart and a great technician, i highly recommend her! Sander's new nail salon is clean and spacious. All the people working there are very friendly. They are very timely with appointments and they take walk ins also. May is my nail technician and she is absolutely the best!! Her work is perfection. I've never walked away unhappy. Check out the specials they have on manicure/pedicure on certain days. I've visited this place a few times now, the inside is beautifully updated. I was greeted by one of their workers Mike and make it a habit for him to do my nails, I always get the dip powder and get so many compliments, I love how well it holds up especially in my profession where I'm always changing gloves and washing my hands!! I had heard mixed reviews about this location, but after their Instagram pictures I decided to book an appointment. I booked a full set acrylic, because on the Instagram I saw the price was $35, although when it came time to pay I was informed that it was really $65. Also, when I booked it it said powder gel, it was a in fact not powder gel and nail polish was used instead. Very unsatisfied! read more

Once you come here, ask for HELEN!! If it wasn't for her, I honestly wouldn't continue doing my nails during COVID. She doesn't just help with making my hands feel put together, but I feel safe knowing that they clean and sanitize everything before they help you and after too. 10/10 def recommend..especially getting your nails done with Helen! JOE was the tech that free style on my nails, I love it. He talked me into trying Dip nails an I love it he really was creative. Sanders Nail Spa was great. I went there for the first time today and had a very good experience. I got a powder dip manicure. I was very impressed with the organization of the salon as well as the services. Joe did my nails. He is incredibly kind and was indulged in conversation with me for much of my appointment. Amazing job with the dip powder! Lee is very skilled in this newer method. I have gone to another nail salon and didn't like the results of the dip powder. I took a chance since the last time I was here they did a great job with regular nail polish. That lasted me a whole 2 weeks and I wash dishes like crazy. Will be coming here again soon!!! read more
