He played all the music we asked for, took requests, kept to the "do not play" list, and was just really good at reading the crowd and changing things up as necessary to keep the night alive. Also, during the planning process, he met with us and we discussed what we wanted, and didn't want, and he really took everything into consideration to help us pick the perfect songs for each part of the wedding day. I told him I was a big fan of Green Day back in the day, and also love songs with piano in it, and he found the perfect elegant piano versions of Green Day songs to play at the procession while people seated and waited. I felt that was such a personal touch to make it my special day without taking away from a "wedding feel". He also set up the dance floor perfectly with the lights he brought, and we especially loved the light up monogram with our names on it. He set that up on the dance floor, and on the walls during cocktail hour. It was custom made with an aviation theme for us and we loved it! Our guests loved him as well and he was getting nonstop compliments throughout the night! Thank you Steve!!

The music was great and kept everyone dancing. During our reception, everything went so smooth from the introductions to the open dancing. We wanted a mix of kanye west songs for our bride and groom entrance and he made a great mix for us. The open dancing flow of music was seriously unbeatable. I usually complain a lot as well and I have no complaints at all. The mix of indian and english songs were great and there were no dull moments or awkward times when people stopped dancing. Kaushal was super prompt with emailing and phone calls. He would respond almost immediately to any request and was very accommodating. His price was on par with other DJs in the Chicago area so if you have a choice, I would definitely go with Kaushal and Shaadi for your wedding.

We got a recommendation to check out Bash Beats by our venue (The Lytle House), and we are SO glad we got to work with Eric. He was just a true delight to connect with, we had a phone consultation before booking him for our big day. Planning was easy, Eric was very responsive, and we had a final session with him on the phone a week or two before the wedding. Eric explained the steps he was taking to keep the event as safe as possible (ex: extra sanitizing of all equipment such as microphones that the officiant and any guests would be using), and he was flexible and great at listening to what we wanted as well. In terms of the actual day of, Eric was AMAZING. He kept the party going, I don't think I've danced so much my entire life. Even some guests who told me they normally don't really dance at weddings were on the (socially distant) dance floor having a great time - one guest told me she and her partner were OBSESSED with Eric and will likely book him for when they get married in the future. We know our big day would not have been the same if not for Eric, and we are so thankful he was part of our celebrations.
