Red Beans & Rice with Sausage

The food was delicious and they have the best cornbread muffins in my opinion. Our service was excellent. The ambience is calm, relaxing, and pleasant. This is definitely a place I recommend and will try other dishes.

The atmosphere was very nice. Our service was great. The place was very clean. We ordered the spinach artichoke appetizer and it was great! For our meal we ordered Shrimp and Grits. They were very creamy and really good. We also ordered the spaghetti dish. It was ok, not real impressed with it, and also the hamburger and it was good. It was overall a good experience.

"Medium" cooked filet.

My mom and I were in Clinton for a pottery class and dined at 303 Jefferson afterward. We ordered the crab claws as an appetizer, which took 25-30 min to make it to our table. They tasted freezer-burned and like they had been fried for too long because it was hard to pull the meat off. My mom wanted to order the pork chop, but our waitress said they were out of pork chops, so she ordered the filet instead, cooked medium. I ordered the "Smoked Ribeye Cheesesteak: House smoked and shaved thin, smothered w/ grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms and our own cheese sauce. $17.50" After waiting 30+ more minutes, our food finally comes. My mom's $37 filet was thin and overcooked to well done and my "cheesesteak" was not smothered in grilled onions and had NO cheese. When I asked our waitress about it she said, "Oh, we are out of cheese sauce. I can bring you a slice of pepper jack if you'd like." The meat did not taste like smoked ribeye but more like dog food. And the bread tasted like it had been old and microwaved because it was hard to chew. After taking 2 bites of the $17 sandwich, I decided I couldn't eat anymore. After tip, this meal cost $120 - we will never return.

Alfredo and full house salad

I'm still gonna give this eatery a 4. It's charming atmosphere and staff are very knowledgeable. We had the Boudin and Sp&Art apps. The boudin balls were really crispy and paired with the stoneground mustard and the Sp&Art creamy with Cajun flare and crispy tortilla wedges. Red fish and Crab was a special my brother ordered blacked and grits. The grits were creamy and well done but not enough salt for him. It was easily fixed and the Red fish perfectly blackened, flaky, and buttery. The Brisket burger was juice despite it being a more dry cut to use. Fat may have been added but the gouda melted on top was perfect match. The hand made onion rings light and crispy with a tasty remoulade. If I had anything negative to say is that the kitchen needs better communication and timing as half the table got their food a full 25 min before the other half.

Pork shank

The Pork Shank was definitely fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy; served over cheese grits that were on point. I personally could have used slightly less bbq sauce as it was a little overpowering over the rest of natural flavor of the meat as well as the grits (maybe just drizzle and if people want more they can get a side). Room for improvements: The place seemed a little understaffed but I understand during these times where nobody seems to work anymore. We also waited slightly longer than I'd liked (about 10 mins before a server came to say hi). I didn't love how my dish was served with a just a roll instead of vegetables like on the menu. I was going to say something but there was a point when I just decided to let it go. Overall, it was a really great spot that I'd come back to again.

Went for lunch with a coworker. The food came quickly. We were maybe 5 minutes into eating and looked to see something out the corner of my eye. There was a roach crawling on the wall at our booth. We politely let the server know and requested our ticket. We didn't even get the chance to enjoy our food which was very disappointing. I won't be returning or recommending this establishment.

Wonderful meals can be found at unexpected places...and 303 Jefferson in Clinton, MS is one of those gems. When I arrived it was pretty empty so I was a bit worried but the friendliness of the lady at the door convinced me to try it out. My server Mariam greeted me and got me a beer while I looked over the menu. I went with a half Greek Salad(absolutely delicious) and the 303 Pasta Balsamico. This dish consists of bowtie pasta sautéed w/ garlic, red onions, roasted bell peppers, bacon and green beans. Then they finish it with grated parmesan and a Balsamic reduction...I added the grilled chicken. I've never had a pasta dish where the "gravy" was a balsamic reduction, and I've been missing out. The flavors of this dish were incredible and there wasn't a bow tie pasta piece left in the plate. Really...an impressive dish and difficult to describe the flavors but suffice to say...delicious. Great food and excellent service from Mariam...highly recommend!

Great food : Ribeye is excellent!

My wife and I recently celebrated our 5th anniversary, so I wanted to take her and my daughter somewhere we had not been. First the atmosphere is cozy and great. The staff was welcoming and the outside and inside were clean. The young lady who waited in us, McKenzie told us she had only been there about a month, but she was fantastic. Made great suggestions and kept checking on us. Didn't wait for anything. THE FOOD Appetizer - Boudin Balls (great) Drinks - mixed very good Main course - Ribeyes were The best part of the meal. Cooked perfect med-rare and medium very tender great amount of flavor and marbling with a hint of grill flavor. Really I could have eaten two. Dessert - cheesecake was good, but the Bourbon Pecan Pie with Ice Cream was an absolutely fantastic taste.

We were in Clinton visiting family. My wife's cousin reserved a table for our family of 11. Nice restaurant with decent decor open floor plan. Our server was a young blonde haired lady, she seemed overwhelmed with the size of our party. we all ordered and I'm not sure if the noise in the restaurant or masks but a lot of our orders were misunderstood. The salad was good chicken was outstanding. The rest of the meal was underwhelming. My wife's redfish was way over salted but only on 3/4 of the filet. My filet I asked for medium medium well was leather and butterflied. The sweet potato was excellent but tiny. The chef came and asked how everything was and we told him and he asked if we wanted him to cook new orders and I appreciate that. If I lived around there I'd give it another shot. Thx!

Got the ribeye... 40% pure fat... flavor 4 out of 10... service was slow...

I Got the ribeye... 40% pure fat... flavor 4 out of 10... service was slow... waiter was was spot on friendly which made up for the delay of of food and drinks. The atmosphere was , more due to the other customers during trivia than the actual restaurant. Out of a $180 meal the cheese curds and the other compatriots where the only thing I walked away with saying I got my moneys worth .... Probably a good lunch spot, but wouldn't take a first date here if you're trying to impress....

Fish was way over cooked. Onion rings was a mass of tasteless batter. It's been a while since I've had food this bad.

Food: They have shrimp & grits, beignets, pancakes, chicken & waffles, BLT & more on the breakfast menu. The pancakes are divine! They offer strawberry, blueberry, chocolate and pecan toppings. Shrimp & Grits are cool. I'm a bit particular when it comes to Shrimp & Grits, but I think they could use a little less cream and a bit more spice/flavor, but they weren't bad! For lunch and dinner, there are different daily specials. I'll come back on a Saturday to try the crawfish etouffee. Price: Great prices. Most meals on the breakfast menu are actually about $6-$13. Service: The young lady who is usually there in the morning is awesome! Ambiance: Just food. No frills. I think they could really benefit from giving the place a facelift or maybe even something as simple as adding a bar (the girls love mimosas) or patio furniture outdoors. Overall: Give it a shot!

We're consistently seated quickly, our orders are taken promptly, and the food is reliably good. The only reason I'm leaving four stars instead of five is the service after the meal arrives. Once the food is served, we rarely see our server again--and tonight was no exception. I had to track ours down when my glass went empty, which is always a pet peeve of mine. That said, the Catfish Creole is now my new favorite dish. Perfectly cooked Mississippi raised blackened catfish served over seafood gumbo--absolutely delicious! This entrée alone is reason enough for us to keep coming back.

This place was such a treat. Biggest regret...we forgot our beer...'cause a cold beer to wash down this good food would've been perfect. There are two lines...one for carry out and then one for those looking to eat at the location. Most of the seating is outside...but there is a small room for indoor seating. Decor is very southern with sports and various music albums. The menu is simple with shrimp, crawfish, crab legs, several combination plate offers, and tamales (which has to be purchased by half dozen). My table ordered the pound of shrimp, half pound of shrimp and the crawfish. All of us were satisfied. The corn that we ordered (it doesn't come with corn or sausage and must be ordered seperately) was amazing and went well with our food. The seasoning was on point. This is definitely a worthwhile spot to visit while in Jackson.

Everything was good and I was told by someone in my party to check out the turkey necks next time I come.

Their price hands down is the best around. $2.99lb, you can purchase by the sack or per pound. $4.99lb for boiled, but they offer a deal for 3lbs, 5lbs, and 10lbs. We got ours medium spicy, crawfish was huge!! Nice little kick, but I'll probably get it spicier next time. They do their boudin several ways, in a wrap (eggroll form), hot boiled, and fried boudin balls. The hot boiled way were my favorite, there was a nice mixture of spices, and a little kick. The cracklins were good, definitely fried extra hard if you like it that way. They're much different than Mexican style chicharons with a crispy layer on the outside, and tender on the inside, this is crispy all throughout. They have dine in at the moment, but with a limited menu. Place is spacious and clean. Once you're done eating, head over next door to their seafood market! They carry a variety of specialty meat, seasonings, and ready to cook items from Louisiana! They're still in the process of getting everything in, so the market is about 1/3 full at the moment. I spy with my little eye a hot food bar in the market area, that would be great for anyone on the go that wants a quick snack. Included the menus for yall. What's on the white board is what they're currently offering, and the paper menu is for what's to come.
