We were out of our home due to a fire and needed a long term place to stay. The first two weeks we stayed at various hotels. Once we found Three Sisters Cottages in Jefferson, Texas we felt as if it were a home away from home. The beds are comfortable and the Cottages just give you a peaceful feeling overall. Coffee and tea are provided for you along with the extras like sugar and powder creamer. There is a mini refrigerator and microwave provided in the kitchenette area , and on top of the microwave is a basket with various snacks. Each cottage has its own porch with rockers and a view of the Piney East Texas woods. There is a path that the owners created which makes for a nice nature walk right down to the Bayou. The owners; Tammy and Randy are accomidating and friendly! Every morning at 9 a.m. they bring delicious breakfast right to your door and set it up on the breakfast table. I love the fact that they are pet friendly and smoker accommodating. I also love the fires in the fire pit which allows for you to sit around the fire with the other guests and Tammy or Randy and get to know everybody and just have a great time! Tammy and Randy are so hospitable and this is such a wonderful place to retreat to with downtown Jefferson just a few minutes away. I'd like to mention that Three Sisters Cottages sits on a dead-end road which makes your stay a little bit more peaceful! I absolutely adore the cabins. I may be a bit biased, since my mother, Tammy Connally, is the owner. I have stayed in all of the cottages many times, but my absolute favorite is Nicole's Chateau: With the whimsical, shabby "chic" decor, and the vintage furnishings, I feel like a princess in her grand bedroom. The cottage included a fridge, microwave, sink, and many snacks and waters that came in handy, as I am a snacky person at night. The Victorian claw foot tub and bubble bath provided is what I was most excited about. With the multiple candles and mood lighting, the ambiance was absolutely perfect. The cabin was spotless, even cleaner than most hotels I've stayed at previously. Even though I am her daughter, she still managed to take every step to make my stay as glorious as possible, catering with a scrumptious and hearty breakfast to my door. I couldn't be more content with my visit, and proud of my mother for all of the hard work she has put into creating a personable atmosphere, and gorgeous and clean cottages. Around December of 2016, I saw a post about Three Sisters on Facebook. After a couple of months of looking at their website, my husband and I decided to book our anniversary trip with them. We really had no idea what to expect because we had never stayed at a B&B. The cottages are so cute and cozy, more like staying with family than an impersonal hotel. The amenities were nice and the breakfast delivered to our cottage each morning was delicious...even the one morning that breakfast was delayed because of an awful storm! Three Sisters is located just minutes from downtown Jefferson, so it is super easy to get to all of the shops and restaurants. The owners are wonderful and gave suggestions on activities to do during our stay. We enjoyed our time there so much that we reserved our next stay before we even left! I have stayed at Three Sisters on numerous occasions! I love the ambiance of the cottages. My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon here and it was a sweet, romantic getaway that we both just adored! From the phenomenal breakfast that was served each morning by Tammy to Randy taking us to explore the bayou, it was the perfect retreat. My sisters and I stayed at Three Sisters Cottages. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed the whole weekend but would've loved to stay longer. We had a wonderful experience taking in the beautiful surroundings. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well equipped for a great stay.
