I cannot say enough about the Kennedy Manor! The house was immaculate. I couldn't get over how clean it was! I loved the antique finishes and house history over breakfast. Breakfast was delicious too. The porch was a lovely place to rest and it's close to everything in town. My wife, Terri, and I stayed in Mrs Kennedy's room. We came in on a Friday and left on Sunday and it was a really awesome experience. The Engles are wonderful hosts. The room was beautiful and charming! It really took us back to our grandparents house. We also enjoyed sitting on the porches and out by the little pond. We almost didn't want to leave the house in order to go out into Jefferson. Staying at Kennedy Manor was really a relaxing experience and Tommy and Tracey are super nice people. What a lovely Bed and Breakfast with kind, friendly owners. The house's atmosphere is relaxing with lots of antiques. My favorite room was the sun room, even though the library is stunning and a perfect spot to read. Breakfast was delicious both mornings we stayed. They were very accommodating for me and my many allergies. Forgive me for the French toast being half eaten in the photo but there was no waiting once they brought it out. It tasted just as good as it looked! Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom being refurbished was a nice touch. They put a lot of work into it and it paid off. Tracey and Tommy were amazing hosts. We've been to Jefferson a few times and have made it a point to stay somewhere new. However, we plan to break this rule and stay at Kennedy Manor going forward after this visit. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit and talking with them on the history of the house. My mother and I were delighted to stay at Kennedy Manor B&B during our trip to Jefferson. I've never had quite the experience before at other B&Bs and this is TOPS! The food is exquisite and I'm so sad that some of the recipes we enjoyed aren't part of their recipe book but how can you entice people to come back if you give all the good things away? The baked oatmeal, hashbrown casserole, the slow baked eggs...I'm drooling writing about it! The house is expertly taken care of, meticulously detailed with a great coffee bar, cookies, drinks that are provided to us at no charge, and full use of the home should we want to just sit and people watch on the patio or play any instruments inside the house. Tommy provides a great tour of Jefferson which I highly recommend! I need more biscuits from Tracey and we already reserved to go back later this year. The stellar 5 stars speaks volumes of the couple's dedication to their home and you won't leave here without aching to stay just one more day. We have stayed at Kennedy Manor for many years and with several different owners. The house itself and the location are both awesome. You can park your car for the trip and walk to just about everywhere. However, the current owners, Tommy and Tracey, have taken this place to the next level! We recently stayed at Kennedy Manor for our anniversary and it was an amazing place to stay! The house is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous and clean and we loved the beautiful large tiled shower. Tommy and Tracey are wonderful Innkeepers! The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed taking the tour of Jefferson with Tommy. It was very interesting to hear all of the history. I Highly recommend this tour! We enjoyed sipping coffee on the front porch with the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies that were always available. After having an awful experience and having to deal with rude staff at the Excelsior hotel, the nice lady that manages the chamber of commerce told us about this amazing, and clean B&B. We had a blast here. It was our anniversary weekend and we had such a bad experience at Excelsior, that we decided to head back to Dallas! However, this place changed everything. We loved how the rooms were clean, unlike the excelsior they had VERY comfortable beds and their breakfast was delicious. My bestie and I spent three nights at Kennedy Manor during our recent visit to Jefferson. We stayed in the Dougherty room and found everything to be immaculate. The room was bright, fresh and clean and the bathroom was very roomy and included a wonderful huge shower. The owners, Tommy and Tracey, were so personable as they showed us around their beautiful home. I was impressed with their knowledge of Jefferson's rich history. I really loved the coffee bar area which included assorted coffees and creamers, tea and sodas. There was a fresh batch of Tracey's amazing chocolate chip cookies always on hand, and they were so scrumptious. Our room was so well appointed and comfortable and I cannot say enough about the wonderful and luxurious sheets and fluffy bath towels! The beds were super comfortable and I slept great. Amazing doesn't seem like a good enough word to describe breakfast! Each morning we were served Tracey's delicious creations and there was plenty of fresh coffee and juice. Tommy and Tracey made themselves available for anything we needed. The location of this home could not be anymore perfect. It is conveniently situated right in the midst of everything. I am happy to say Kennedy Manor is once again a lovely bed and breakfast. After several years of being a private residence the new owners have beautifully refurbished the house to add modern amenities while keeping the historic charm that comes with a house that is over 100 years old. The B&B is perfectly located in the heart of the historic district and is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and historic sites. I checked in on Sept 15 and the owners were warm, friendly and accommodating. They let me park my road bike in their beautiful front room. There is a good feeling surrounding this bed and breakfast. From the peaceful seating arrangements on the porch and lawn to the welcoming greetings from Tommy and Tracey to the beautifully decorated and tranquil ambiance of my room. I loved the coffee bar. There were flavored coffee (decaf included), tea, hot chocolate, microwaveable popcorn, sodas in the fridge and the most delicious chocolate chip cookies. Tommy and Tracey have created the perfect getaway to decompress and relax. The backyard is filled with flowering plants and shrubs, one which attracts many hummingbirds. There is also a pond with goldfish and lily pads. If you're lucky you'll get to feed the fish like I did! This is a wonderful place to stay. I could feel the love the owners have for this place as they explain it's history and how it became theirs. And I could see it in the personal touches throughout the house, including the cutout fence facing Lafayette St., made by Tommy with the help of his daughter. read more

My husband and I stayed here and loved it! We like out amenities since Jefferson can get still after dark an we enjoyed TV's that we're up date, a comfortable bed, and decadent snacks. So many Jefferson B&B's have gone skimpy on things like sodas in the fridge or baked goods at the coffee bar- but not this place! It was top notch. We really enjoyed our stay and want to come back on our next overnight getaway. read more
