i had been looking for somewhere to stop in between classes and the closer to FAU's campus the better. looking for something other than raw juce (which is honestly outrageously expensive), i turned to yelp and stumbled upon this place. i am so glad i gave this place a try. they have, hands down, the best acai bowl in the area. they have so many different bowls to choose from in addition to the other menu options like smoothies, wraps, and salads. There is also a cooler with a bunch of cold pressed juices, cold brew coffees, waters and other drinks. i havent tried anything other than the acai bowls but after going today during peak lunch hours, i was able to see so many people with different fresh salads and wraps. the salads are large and everything is made fresh and for their prices you really can't beat it! the vibe here is a little "beachy" with blue walls and a wood accent wall. the menu is on the wall to the right when you walk in and its large enough to see all of the options.. they also have take out menus on the counter. the counters were clean and i especially love that you can see right through to their kitchen from the front counter. you are able to watch them make your food and that way you know exactly who's making it, what's happening and that they are using fresh ingredients. the bowls here are delicious!!! full of flavor and thy really stand out with all of the bright fresh fruit. each bowl is customizable as well so you can take out whatever you don't like and add whatever might not already be in there. being the creature of habit that i am, i have gotten "the bird" acai bowl all 3 times and have loved it!!! i dont eat coconut so i opted to get it without it and it was still delicious!! my boyfriend got his with coconut and said the flakes were nice and big and added really nice flavor to the bowl without being overpowering. the second time i decided to add blueberry to the bowl, it is a small upcharge to do this but took the flavors of the bowl to the next level. 3 natives is 100% my new go-to for lunch on the days i am in boca!!!! read more

They weren't very busy yet I had to wait awhile for my avocado toast. It was a to go order and later when I tried my avocado toast, the toast was overly done and burned! I had one slice and trashed the rest. Since I had already left the restaurant, it's not like I could go back and re-order. It was a big salad ($10) that was made fresh/to order, which explained the 10 minute wait. I went at height of the lunch rush but didn't mind the wait, since we had a table. This was my first time having an acai bowl, so I can't really compare it to any other, however, it was very good All my friends say it's their favorite place, and I can see why. First, the vibe and decor is chill and beachy. They play extreme sports on their TV's, like surfing and snowboarding, and the decor gives a relaxing vibe. Also, the staff was very friendly and had a lot of patients when I couldn't decide between two bowls. He then helped me pick one by telling me which one his favorite was. Therefore, I ended up getting the "V.O.T" which has mango, kiwi, and raspberry. VERY GOOD. My boyfriend got "the local" and he loved it too. Also, I got the avocado and mango toast -- you should definitely try it out! It comes with four slices, so my friend and I split it! The pricing is a little high, but I'm also not sure what acai bowls usually sell for. I got a kids size, also called a small, and it was $6.69. Oh, and they have food too!! Not just bowls. I've been a frequent customer of the 3 Natives in Tequesta and Jupiter. Love all these places when and crave the food/juices when I'm stuck up in Connecticut. I was just down at the Boca location and this place rocks. I had the PBA Bowl with almond butter and added coconut shavings, Amazing! I wanted to give more stars because the açaí bowls are really yummy, but my experience was just unpleasant. It ended up putting a sour taste in my mouth. We arrived by 12:45 and were in a rush because we were on a lunch break from work. So we placed an order for 2 basic açaí bowls. The cashier seemed friendly but honestly a little out of it. First we are standing for about 10 minutes after the order is placed. I totally understand that these types of places take a while since they make everything fresh. But past 25 minutes? Come on. Love this place! I usually get the Local acai bowl and it is a great way to start my day. My only complaint is that the bowls are hard to eat out of and I end up making a mess, but (full disclosure) I am a messy eater. I have also tried their wraps, and so far the black bean hummus wrap is my favorite. The portions are large, and it is definitely worth joining their rewards program. Since it is located to a large business park, it can be very busy for lunch and parking can be an issue. All in all, I highly recommend this place. The product itself is wonderful & the restaurant has a cool vibe. We love the tiny diced fruits in the açaí bowls. 3 Natives makes the best açaí bowl in town! However the staff is TERRIBLE. I would not bother writing this review if it was just a once or twice encounter. EVERY visit weve had at the Yamato store has been met w miserable employees. They are rude & DO NOT GIVE A CRAP about their job & it shows. They have a bad attitude & get annoyed when u ask them a question. Hopefully 3 Natives can get better employees or teach existing employees some basic customer service. It really puts a damper on the entire experience. & despite our negative interaction we still tipped them $5 on a $20 dollar order. 3Natives is known as a fresh, healthy stop for smoothies, bowls, wraps and salads. 4 of us are conducting a project on restaurant operations so we chose one we all liked, 3Natives. We walk into the 3Natives Boca Raton and carefully watched as our order was made. All the ingredients are great, however, one serving of almond butter is typically 2 tablespoons due to the high fat and calorie content. We watched as the person behind the counter squeezed a copious amount of almond butter into the blender. It was in a large plastic bottle with a cap. For the next smoothie, they also put WAY more than a healthy amount of almond butter, but they did put less than the previous. We asked how they portion control for their smoothies, their response was "we do whatever we think tastes good, that's why we don't have the nutrition value because it varies". It looked like there was about 3 ounces of almond butter in one single smoothie. Nothing they put into the blender is measured, which is not only a con for someone who thinks they are eating healthy but the company is probably taking a hit to their inventory costs. We watched an employee eat near the food in the back of house, probably not compliant with health regulations. On the 3Natives website, it reads "if you have any questions call Anthony at 561.308.2147 or if viewing this on your phone, text him anytime by clicking here" concerning franchises. I reached out to Anthony via text message 3 times, asking him if he has any part with a franchise after they open. I thought from his story on the franchising brochure, which explained how he was sick and tired of eating at so called "healthy" places that weren't healthy, he'd probably care and want to know why I was asking this and dig deeper as to what was going on. After 3 text messages and no reply, I gave him a call and he told me he's busy and does not have time for this. He hung up on me as I was letting him know I saw some things that probably would cause concern. I'm not sure about other locations, but 3Natives Boca Raton has no operations strategy going on.
