We contacted Dam Plumbing & Drain to replace a tankless water heater. Unfortunately, the new water…read moreheater was set at 98 degrees and it was not working properly / consistently. When the plumber, Richie, returned to review his work a week later, he argued with us and said the water was hot. I told him that's not what our complaint was - the temperature wasn't consistent. When we asked him to re-install the previous unit, he said he couldn't because he had thrown it away in the trash. The previous Reem water heater of ours was working just fine. We were just downgrading to a smaller unit. We sent a complaint to the office almost 2 weeks ago but no one has ever called, texted or emailed us back. Absolutely an unreputable company! I can't believe they have so many good reviews when we definitely received the worst service possible. Update: I don't think it's wise for any business to publicly give an "excuse" why they did something that a customer is unhappy about, and rightfully so. Their plumber was told from the start that our current/previous tankless water heater was working just fine. Why would anyone throw away a unit that's working fine? After speaking with Lucy today, I was also asked to revise my review here if they provide a new service that is satisfactory. My husband and I run a small business and we've never asked a customer to revise their online review. It is always the customer's choice to do that on their own. A company's response to a negative review always shows how they truly operate.

He communicated his time frame, was very thorough with his inspection and trouble shooting. He also referred a water remediation company who came out the same day. I definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

The installation failed inspection twice because they insisted on installing other devices instead of the required expansion tank. The job was ultimately completed, but I had to repeatedly follow up with Flow Pro to get the permit and inspection issues resolved. What should have taken 7 to 10 days took 9 weeks.

We live in an older house in West Tampa. After pretty much a total remodel of both bathrooms and…read morethe kitchen, we experienced a homeowners nightmare...a plumber was doing periodic maintenance on our cast iron infrastructure when a pipe broke. After analyzing solutions with them, which included knocking out walls in both bathrooms, the owner handed us off to APEX. Joe and Mike came over to the house and examined what we had & took pictures. After running cameras through everything, they developed a hybrid solution that involved undermining accessible pipes and replacing with minimal intrusion as well as refurbishing and epoxy coating the remaining small segments of cast iron that would remain. Joe sat down at our dining room table and mapped it all out; showing us video of each problem point as well as what was salvageable & gave us a price. We signed off on it. With much apprehension on our part knowing our home was about to be dissected, Elliot and John arrived to start work. They were prompt, respectful, & empathetic to our dilemna. They were also insistent about putting protective paper down everywhere they worked to protect the flooring. At the end of the day, they swept, vacuumed, and mopped any debris that was remaining. This was the standard throughout the entire engagement. Their workmanship and attention to detail was spot on. All of Joe's guys were phenomenal. John, Elliot, Matt; I cannot remember all their names, were consummate professionals of the highest degree. I would not hesitate to recommend APEX Plumbing.

I get that. NEVER TOLD ME. 2) Broke my gas pipe underground when digging. Mistakes happen. I get that. NEVER TOLD ME. I had to call them to find out why my gas was turned off 2 days later. 3) They propped my gate open to work. Left it that way when they left. My dog ran away. There are 2 signs saying to close the gate. 4) Scheduling nightmare. 5) They moved my hot tub to get to the area of work. They placed the cord on top of the cover. It rained. Broke. Mistakes happen. I replaced it. Then, when they finally came to fix another mistake they made... they left the cord on the cover exposed in a rain storm, AGAIN. I replaced it AGAIN. 6)They filled the hole on my patio with cement. It looked like a child did it. It was a quarter inch to half an inch higher than the rest of the patio. I called and complained. Sent them photos. They assured me they would fix it. It took them almost 2 weeks and 10 phone calls. 7) There's was a fan outside. They used it when filling cement in the hole they dug. Thats fine. Cement was left all over the new fan. 8) With the city program, they were to restore my property of how it was. They removed pavers and just left in a pile. STILL NOT RE-INSTALLED. 9) My home is old and didn't have a clean out. They tell me they need to install one. Great. They tell me, "It will look bad if we put it on the patio. After inspection, we will move it off the patio. Are you okay with that? We take pride in our work." I said "Whatever you think is best. Thanks." Where's is the clean out? In the middle of the patio. They never should have offered to put the clean out else where, if they weren't going to follow through. AND to offer doing something after a city inspection was sketchy. They are 100% not abiding by the city in most likely the majority of jobs performed.

I put in a request on Yelp to have plumbers contact me about a clog. Kenny responded quickly &…read moreseemed very professional. Kenny said he felt running the snake from the roof was our best option. He also stated he does not feel it's right to charge for a camera to be run after the drain is unclogged. He offered to come out within the hour for $550. He was going to have to come back the next morning anyways since his other guy had the camera. We said we would just wait until morning. It was so late (10pm) The next morning Kyle arrived promptly at 9am. They were honestly the most prompt plumbers I've ever met. I showed Kyle where to access the crawl space to get under the house. He chose to just run the snake from the front yard. Kyle never did go onto the roof or under the house. He did eventually break the clog loose & proceeded to clean up. I asked for the camera footage. He did not run the camera. I asked him to do so. He then ran it but, I do not feel it was ran properly as his diagnosis was not accurate. It also took him less than 5 mins to run the camera ... I didn't think much of it since Kyle said I did not need the footage. This was Thursday morning. On Saturday my husband took off to replace the section of pipe that Kyle said was wrong. We ended up putting a level on the pipes, under the house. The angles were accurate. I called Kenny to ask for the camera footage that we should of received when Kyle ran it. Kenny was a bit upset that we were not given that footage when we paid for the job. It's also my experience that snaking the drains from the roof is twice the price, I was however ok as long as it was completed. Here we were on a Saturday trying to fix this issue but we could not get the footage we were promised. Kenny said he did not have the camera, it was in Kyle's truck & he was off for the weekend. This is the reason I did not give 5 stars. We had to delay repairing the pipe due to Kyle not completing the job as promised. We had to wait for Kenny to retrieve the camera on Monday. Then he showed up on Monday. The diagnosis Kyle had given was not accurate. Unfortunately we wasted a weekend & canceled a job that we had scheduled had Kyle done the job properly the first time, we wouldn't be in that predicament. It's my opinion he either didn't know what he was looking at or he did not run the camera & just pretended he did. Kyle said the cast iron was in good condition. Kenny said it needed to be replaced. Kyle said it was the angle of the pipe. It was the size of the pipes not matching up. Kenny however crawled under the house, ran the camera & discovered the issue. It was nothing at all what Kyle said but, at least he stood by his service & came back at my request. This is why they received 4 stars. Tbh... Kenny deserves 5 stars & Kyle deserves 3... I have already recommended them to a few people. My only other observation is... you might need a second camera to keep on the bosses truck. Twice we needed it & it was on the other truck. If you're running a camera for nearly every job, it might be a good investment to have a back up. In closing I do recommend Elite Plumbing. Kenny is the owner & he stands behind his work. If something is not right, Kenny does what he can to make it right. If you're in need of plumbing repairs, I highly recommend Elite Plumbing.

2 months ago I…read morereceived a call that there was a leak at my condo. Originally thought it was Hot Water Heater, but turned out to be a pipe behind the wall. Called Elite Plumbing and they sent a Tech to investigate. ANGELO diagnosed the problem, removed a section of sheetrock and repaired a 1 foot section of leaking copper pipe. I soon received a bill for $650, which I thought was excessive. As part of the remediation process, ANGELO decided to remove the Hot Water Heater from the property!?!? When contacted to ask where the HWH was, ANGELO responded that I told him to remove it! I would never have instructed him to do that. Very disappointed, and would not recommend this company. And Ken, as owner, you know EXACTLY what happened, your employee remove the water heater from my unit and probably installed as new somewhere else! Whether ANGELO or ANTHONY, steer clear of this place!!!
