Worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. I placed a Grubhub order that was confirmed for delivery around 12:00 PM. When I called the restaurant at 12:30 PM to ask the status of the delivery, the person who answered was rude and unhelpful, gave contradictory information, and didn't seem to know which order she was discussing. She refused to pass the phone to anyone else and made no effort to resolve the issue. I was denied a refund and told to "call back on Sunday to speak with the manager," even though this happened on a Tuesday. After reading other reviews, I agree this is not an isolated incident. The customer service is consistently rude, and based on this experience, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. read more

OUTRIGHT RUDE! Terrible customer service. I was putting in a $200 order for PICKUP and had to ask a family member a question about their choice (Sushi or sashimi)... BUT she very rudely said she couldn't wait and had other calls and I had to call back! She also said she COULDN'T save it and I would have to REITERATE it all again! I said the next person calling could be asking you what time you're closing and this is what you do to a $200 order! Ordered takeout from 3 guys on a Sunday night. The selection was pretty standard on the menu offering a variety of special rolls, apps, entrees, etc. we ordered the sushi sashimi for 2, Hawaiian roll, and ferry roll. The ferry roll was the best out of all of them. The fish seemed fresh but was very warm upon receipt so I was a little worried about the safety of the food. Love this sushi restaurant. We order delivery or pick ups regularly from them. We tried their several appetizers,some Thai food, Thai iced tea, different ramen, soups, they are all good. The best of course is sushi. Very delicious and fresh. Their delivery is fast. Finally we went to their restaurant and had dinner there. Food was good as always. Service was ok. I just really didn't like the waitress came to our table again and again, pick up this , pick up that, even just for picking up some chopstick wraps, and interrupting customers. I do appreciate if you come to us once and check if everything is ok, or take empty plats away if there not enough space on table. Other than that you could just be around, customers would call you if we have any needs. The folks here and their service is great! I've found them to be very friendly and attentive. Personally, I don't come here for their sushi, but rather Pad See Yu and Pad Kee Mao. Pad Thai is everywhere, but not the aforementioned dishes. Pad See Yu and Kee Mao use wider noodles and I feel the flavor is really absorbed by the wider noodles. I came in here today for lunch, my husband and I were seated, given menus, standard restaurant practices. I ordered the Green Curry lunch, my husband ordered the Garlic chicken lunch. We received our food rather quickly it was also piping hot- I made conversation with my husband about the news while waiting for my food to cool down. About 20 minutes into the meal, the host comes by and asks if we are done. I tell her "No we are not" I waited a bit more for my food to cool so I basically stuffed all my lunch into my mouth to avoid any more interaction with this girl. The restaurant was empty, there was no one else being serviced. Why were we rushed? I have a feeling the owners of this restaurant also manages the nail salon a block away. Stop rushing people who are giving you business! If she had been more polite the tip I gave her would've been larger. This rating is primarily for their carelessness with food allergies. My wife and I ordered from here in the past and had overlooked the high prices and long delivery times, due to the fact that it was on Seamless/Grubhub and the food was good. There was also a period of time where the delivery guy would call when he arrived and angrily explain that he was parked in the road and I had to come down to come outside and get the food. After I had tipped. But I digress. We placed an order on Grubhub last week and wrote in the "Special Instructions" area that I had extremely severe allergies to sesame seeds and to please make sure none of the food/sushi we had ordered contained any. I wrote part of the request in all caps with multiple exclamation points to try to make it apparent. After eating a few rolls I looked down and saw that the spicy scallops rolls we ordered were covered in sesame seeds. I called and tried to explain my predicament and was met by only was can be explained as extreme apathy. I would really expect an establishment that sent someone to the ER by their carelessness of food preparation in relation to food allergies to be more sympathetic, but it is appallingly laughable how the situation was handled. TLDR: Sociopathic customer service, non-existent food allergy considered and will NEVER order here again unless I want to die. read more

What if I told you that there was a place that you can go to and/or order from that served fresh, delicious meals and those meals would be priced correctly and your order would always be right? You would probably laugh, walk away, and tell your friends and family about the lunacy that you encountered on the streets of Staten Island. However, folks, this magnificent establishment does, in fact, exist...and it's called, "3 Guys Sushi". It's simply amazing! My family and I have been ordering from them for about two years. After over forty years on this Island, we've gone through extensive hit-or-miss dealings with Japanese and other Asian-style restaurants; and, by chance, I was turned on to 3 Guys. I must be honest: Due to the anxiety of Staten Island parking, we've never actually dined in, so we order from 3 Guys as often as possible. Before this becomes a "TL/DR", let me sum up our experience: The food is fresh--like, REAL FRESH. The vegetables are crisp, the sushi is immaculate, the chicken is actual chicken, the fish is cooked perfectly, and the rice is superb. Our food is delivered in a timely manner, is of the proper temperature, and GET THIS: Not only do they SEPARATE the cold food from the hot food, they send you what you actually ordered!! How many times have you ordered from one of our five million (mostly awful) pizza places and the first thing you get is attitude, then they deliver you dirty soda cans, and to top it off, those soda cans or other cold food are splayed out on top of your hot food? Now you have semi-warm soda and semi-cold pizza! Good job!! This is our go-to lunch special bento box or udon soup place on Staten Island. My husband and I have eaten here once but otherwise we get the food delivered. We don't live that close but delivery usually comes quicker than expected - usually no more than a half hour from phone call to a call that the food has arrived. Bento boxes include a large entree portion, a salad, rice, miso soup, 6 pieces of California roll and 3 pieces of shumai. Tempura udon soup comes with shrimp or chicken tempura plus vegetable tempura along with a good portion of noodles and vegetables. A salad also comes with the soup. Prices are very reasonable and food arrives hot and ready to eat! What's not to like? read more

I tried their salmon don, and while they gave a generous amount of 15 slices, $21 is quite pricey for low-quality sashimi. The color of the salmon was very pale - indicating the fish was not fresh. On top of that, the fish was cold as if they had just taken it out of the freezer and delivered it to my door. The miso soup was disappointing as well. It tasted pretty much like water. Awful restaurant. I have been going to this establishment for about four months now. I always get the lunch special. Recently i have started getting the lunch special with shrimp avocado and a spicy California roll. On today of all days this establishment has decided that you can't get a lunch special with a shrimp avocado roll. They are claiming that the shrimp avocado roll is not written on the menu as being part of the lunch special. Even if that is true how can you now tell me this after i have been getting the shrimp avocado roll with the lunch special for over a week now. In my opinion that's just bad business. If you have been doing it for over a week with multiple cashiers then you have to continue to Honor it. I will be avoiding this restaurant at all costs. read more

I cancelled my order before I even placed it because the customer service was so awful. I had been craving sushi for the past couple of days, my boyfriend and I finally decided to call in an order. After giving the lady on the phone my order, the bill came out to be $50 some on bucks. I asked the woman to remove the kani salad, and she literally told me on the phone, "know what you want before you order". I can understand the aggravation if I was changing my order throughout the entire call, but I only asked for the Kani to be removed. After hearing that, I told her I wanted to cancel my entire order, to which she told me I couldn't because "we already started". #truestory Needless to say, I hung up on them after they refused to let me cancel the order. This is my go-to spot for sushi on the island. I really love the spicy tuna here so much. I must order once a week. I once ordered off the Thai menu (Pad See Ew) but the noodles weren't saucy enough for me, thats the only reason why i'm deducting one star.
