Fried wontons with sweet and sour sauce. It came with more but I had some already. Super yummy.

Decided to eat at 3 Flavors after reading the reviews. I'm glad that I did. It's a small place in a strip mall along Airport Blvd and University, but do not let that fool you. They are cooking up some amazing food. I ordered the Coconut Soup and Shrimp Pad Thai. The coconut soup was delicious. The Shrimp Pad Thai was amazing. I can't wait to go back so I can sample more of their delicious recipes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Well, three flavors had a really bad night. I'm not sure I understand what happened but the Tom Kha soup was compromised with a pouring of vinegar. It was not edible. So there was some chaos, the ladies in the front did not get their food after over an hour of wait. It does not make sense because they were only three or four tables with customers at it. There was a lady in the bathroom for 45 minutes. I think she was ill. They forgot to bring somebody's meal at our table and after waiting over an hour with no comment or explanation things got a little testy. I had spicy tuna roll and there was tuna approximately the size of a toothpick down the center of the roll. The people at the table were very hangry,

I can't believe I've not left a review before now. We love this place! The diverse menu always gives us plenty of options to choose from (though honestly I order my favorite dish here every time). Even our friends who don't usually like Asian food like coming here. My favorite thing on the menu is the (pork) katsudon. It's just like I used to get when I lived in Japan! It's tender, crunchy, sweet, tangy, and umami. I love it so much and I don't want anything else when we come here. My husband usually enjoys the variety of Thai menu options. He likes the noodle dishes and curries. Our child usually gets shrimp pad thai because they love noodles and shrimp. We almost always get the gyoza for an appetizer because we all enjoy them. I especially enjoy the mango sticky rice for dessert when mangos are in season! The service is always good and friendly and we always have a good meal here. They've recently remodeled and the restaurant is much brighter with a new coat of paint, the addition of lots of track lights, and lovely new lights for the booths. Looks great!

How cute is this little rice and seaweed panda? I couldn't bring myself to eat it. Too cute!

This is my favorite sushi restaurant, hands down. They do have other things on the menu such as hibachi, Thai, and Japanese entrees, but I'm a sushi girl. The owner (Caesar) makes the sushi himself, and will happily oblige to special requests. Don't see what you want on the menu? Tell him what you like and he will create a roll just for you. He's a people pleaser, and goes the distance to make sure his customers are happy. He is from Thailand and makes everything as authentic as possible. The place is clean and cozy, and is great for date nights as well as group events or family outings. He does have a kids menu, and my kids RAVE about his chicken tenders. (They're boring, and not into trying new things.) Prices are very reasonable, and there is a lunch special during the weekdays. They have a Facebook page where they post photos daily of menu items as they're being served. It's a great way to see what they are if you prefer visuals. They also participate in the food delivery services (Waitr, etc) but I unfortunately live way out of their delivery range, otherwise I'd be getting my sushi fix way more often. It's worth the 40 minute drive for me though. I've not once had something on the menu that I wasn't happy with.

Check your food before eating. Ordered take out and found a long hair in my soup. Needless to say, I didn't eat any of the meal. Extremely disappointed.

Don't let the outside fool you: My sister and I were looking a new spot because we LOVE Asian cuisine and visit many different places. This place DID NOT disappoint! From someone who has eaten at many different Thai and Japanese restaurants, 3 Flavors hit every spot for my sister and I. We will DEFINITELY be coming back. We left full, happy, and with enough leftover for another meal, so well worth the price! The staff were also very kind and their younger waiter was so so sweet. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE!!!

3 Flavors is hands down my favorite sushi place in all of Mobile County. The only downside I have found is that since they are so close to a church, they do not have a liquor license. I'm not a huge drinker but I do like a glass of wine with my sushi. They've got an extensive menu and if you don't see something specific, just ask the cook! He can make just about anything you request. It's always quiet, relaxed, and has excellent service. It's never too packed and you never have to wait too long for your food. The prices are very reasonable. We love this place!

If you want authentic Thai, this is the place. The kitchen is 100% operated by a genuine Thai cook, and the food reflects it. The weekday lunch especial can't be beat, it comes with a decent size bowl of soup (your choice) and two springrolls, you can alternatively select fried wonton instead. Word of caution, do not order Thai hot, because unless you are used to it, you may regret it. The attached pic was my lunch special, and "special" it was!!! YUM! Give it a shot, you won't regret it!

From my reconnaissance results, everything was wonderful at this restaurant. The hostess greeted me immediately and gave me a tour of the restaurant when I told her that I was surveying and comparing different Japanese restaurants in the area. She asked questions about my event and what I wanted in the experience. The restaurant was bright and clean, which I absolutely loved. Other places were way too dark for my preference. We toured the bar area, the sushi area, and the hibachi area. Everything was clean, organized and inviting. The hostess was very friendly, informative and helpful. She asked about the times that I might come and even suggested the best times for particular days. I felt so comfortable that I wanted to end the tour and order something to eat on this mission, but I decided against it until I found out that they serve dim sum. Since these delicacies are generally not available where I live, I decided to try a few of my favorites. While the taste of the shrimp & pork dumplings was underwhelming, the sesame balls were perfect. I am excited to bring my family here for the hibachi experience and I will update this review afterward. Update after the hibachi experience. When the five of us arrived on a Friday at 5:30 PM, we were greeted immediately. My tour guide from the previous day, remembered me and told the hostess to seat us at a special table. Then the usual process of hibachi started. Our cook was very interactive, funny and entertaining. He prepared our food wonderfully, seasoned it well and entertained us expertly. My cousin, whom had never experienced a hibachi dinner/entertainment prior to this, thoroughly enjoyed her dinner and raved about coming back sometime soon. We all had such a wonderful experience that we will return.

The kids loved the fried rice -- simple dish but they nailed the flavor perfectly. One of my kids ordered the Nam Tok Nue, which came with thinly sliced ribeye and sautéed vegetables, and it ended up being his favorite dish of the night. The Pad Kee Mao was also really good, especially with how well the basil tied everything together. The real standout for me was the Tom Yum soup. We ordered it at spice level 5 and it had the perfect kick. Most of our dishes were around spice level 3-4, which was very manageable for us. If you're used to authentic Thai spice levels, I'd probably recommend going closer to a 7. Overall, really solid food across the board and definitely worth checking out if you're craving Thai food.
