Unless you have lots of time to waste.

Let me describe the services provided and why it was awesome. We were in the midst of redecorating and had several rooms that we were planning to repaint. Linda had a fixed price for a set number of rooms that we thought was very reasonable to begin with. We were really expecting her to stop by, take a look at our house, understand our needs and provide recommendations. But, oh...she did so much more. Linda spent 7 hours with us! For each space that we consulted her on, she asked us to describe usage, provided recommendations, then held up color swatches on the walls so we could see what the color would look like in bright light and shadows and further gave us decor tips. We did not just pick colors, we felt confident in our choices. As I think back to our initial experience when we moved in, we liked a lot of color and picked some bold colors throughout pretty randomly. Unfortunately, less than 4 years later we are re-painting so many areas because the color seems overbearing or did not really work. If we had used Linda's services right at the start, we wouldn't be repainting so soon so we would have saved money! In the end, we have picked shades of a similar color but as Linda explained, there is a rhythm to this, as you move from active areas to areas where light fades and gets bright, you see a consistency and can also change moods somewhat. Again, YMMV, but all-in-all, I don't think anyone will be dissatisfied with Linda...she goes out of her way to please...she need not have spent 7 hours with us and we think that the decor tips she provided are strong. Her work ethic and enthusiasm was excellent...we almost could not keep up with her even after 7 hours. 10/10 for her service and enthusiasm.

Top-down, bottom-up capabilities on all bedroom shades ensures that we have a right amount of privacy, as well as natural light at our fingertips. They had provided blinds to many neighbors at the time as well. We had two sets of blinds no longer lift from the bottom. I hired Sherry in May, 2021 to do all windows in my new home that was being built. I moved into my…read morenew home in August, 2021. She did not complete the job until February 2022. She blamed a lot on Covid but it wasn't Covid because she had the fabrics she needed for months before she even started the work. The hobbled Roman shades she made have come apart 2 times already. One of the shades was too big for the window when she tried to install it, so she had to cut off part of one side to make it fit. She cut it wrong so that now there is about a half inch gap between the shade and the casement window so light pours in during the day. The only items I actually like are the ones that Sherry had no part in making - the woven wood shades by Hunter Douglas and a couple of Venetian blinds - she only had to order and install them. By February 2022 she still had not even started the shades for my bedroom, so I paid her for the fabric that she had purchased months before and I hired someone else to do my bedroom windows, my patio door and to put the finishing touches on the windows that she had done to try to mask her shoddy work. Once she knows you're not happy with her work, she ignores your calls, emails and texts asking for repairs. I've had to pay the other company that finished the windows in my house to fix her work as it fails - and there have been multiple incidents now that have required fixing and they've only been hanging for 6 months. It was the worst $7000 I've ever spent in my life. You should think twice before hiring Sherry's company unless you are willing to wait 9-10 times longer than other companies. It took the other company I hired 4 weeks to order and receive the fabric and make all new draperies, shears and cellular shades for my bedroom windows, as well as make cornices and shears for all the other windows that it took Sherry 9-10 months just to make shades for. I rest my case!

As you can see from the photos, our kitchen is falling apart. Cabinet Discounters used the wrong grout, so it continues to crumble. The tile floor is cracked, and we have had to have the grout repaired at additional expense from another contractor. Our kitchen needs to be gutted...again, due to the extremely poor quality of work provided by Cabinet Discounters. Their customer service is terrible, and they have yet to respond to my outreach.
