Shenandoah Shutters is the only company I would trust for such an investment. Sanel, my salesman is professional, well prepared and efficient. In the office, Marianne communicated well and provided quick responses to any queries regarding our project. Sanel reviewed all our options and left us with a clear understanding of the quote and lead times in writing. A genuine gentleman that I feel comfortable having in my home. At installation of new shutters and the custom alterations ( cutting tilt bars and touch up paint) done to existing shutters completed in the field by Sanel and his team were clean and they worked quickly in one afternoon. *When I came home from work, I didn't even know they were in the house. My husband was thrilled with the workmanship! Our second project with Shenandoah is custom painting of existing shutters from the previous owners and a few new windows. Very rarely, can you say I am thrilled to have this team in my home and trust and their workmanship. Thank you to the entire team at Shenandoah! read more

Absolutely outstanding. Shenandoah Shutters installed plantation shutters in several rooms of our home. The shutters are LOCALLY CUSTOM MADE by Shenandoah, well-built, solid, sturdy, and beautiful. Sanel, and every other employee, technician, and installer with whom we interacted was professional, reliable, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. Shenandoah made sure that we were completely satisfied with their work, and also expressed their appreciation for our business. They even thanked us with an installation day gift of Virginia peanuts! Their brand of customer service, quality, and customer appreciation is rare these days. Highly recommend. read more

From start to finish Shenandoah Shutters was great to work with. Sales rep, Amy, was knowledgeable and able to answer all my concerns and questions. The installation crew was professional and did a beautiful job. The quality of the product is superior with touches like the soft edge you will not find elsewhere. The shutters look even better than anticipated and we are very happy. We have already referred customers. The shutters speak for themselves. A huge draw for us initially was that Shenandoah Shutters are made in the USA. We had bids from other companies but the product was made in China and shipped to US. The difference in price was negligible, but shipping time was expected to be much longer with the other companies. The other companies did not offer some of the details that Shenandoah Shutters such as hidden hinges, etc. We had 12 window shutters and 1 door shutter read more

What an awesome product and customer service. Some of our shutter louvers paint was cracking. I contacted Shenandoah Shutters, where the previous owner purchased the shutters. Their staff came out and reviewed the problem. They determined all shutters needed to be replaced. They replaced all shutters for no cost, $0, under the previous owner's warranty. What a great company and great customer service. We highly recommend Shenandoah Shutters. read more

We took the time to collect price quotes from two other companies and decided on Shenandoah Shutters. They weren't the lowest quote, but they were (by far) the most responsive and customer service-oriented company out of the three. Similar to other Yelp reviewers, Amy (our Sales Rep) was super friendly and took the time to answer all my pesky questions. She also worked us into the schedule so that our french door shutters (see pic included) would be installed before our holiday guests arrived and followed up with me a month later to see if I was satisfied. Install was quick, thorough, and included a hands-on demo with me to ensure I understood how to lift the shutter for window cleaning. Many folks (including myself) were/are worried about shutters blocking out light, but I do not find this to be the case. The french door shutters are gorgeous with a beautiful door handle cut around. Simply put, our shutters are STUNNING. Shenandoah Shutters are top-notch and offer the whole package: quality and craftsmanship, with a razor sharp focus on customer service. We couldn't be happier! read more

Could not have been happier with Shenandoah Shutters. Amy (703 403 2995, amyg@shenandoahshutters.com) was our sells representative and made excellent suggestions. They were also half the price for shutters compared to 3 Day Blinds. Installation was perfect and the shutters are beautiful. We had them put on our french doors and they look amazing. Highly recommend. read more

We just got our second set of shutters from Shenandoah installed, so we have used this Company twice now and other family members have hired them as well. Our experience has been that they are very professional and the product looks great. The shutters have made our home more elegant and custom. They keep our floors and furniture safe from fading, and we are hoping they will also increase the value of our home. Amy was delightful to work with and we would hire her again. Highly recommended. read more

5 stars all the way around! From our consultant Amy, who was a real pro at helping us decide on the perfect configuration, to installation and quality of shutters, we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! What a transformation the shutters have made, it's not just a house anymore, but a home. We would highly recommend Shenandoah Shutters and Amy to anyone interested in making improvements to their home. Thank you! read more

Amy was extremely professional and quite informative with her presentation of the plantation shutters. She didn't mind switching out the samples a few times so that I could make the right decision for me and what would make me happy for years to come. Size, color, material, hinges or not, it all matters. I didn't feel rushed at all, it was a very nice experience considering it was during the pandemic. Amy was able to get me an earlier date for my appointment and get my order in right away. I was quite happy to support a business that is located in Richmond, Virginia, which cut down on such a long wait time for installation. I was elated with the end result! The shutters are to die for, making such a difference with the lighting in my master bedroom. Thank you Amy! I look forward to doing business with you and Shenandoah Shutters in the future. read more

I've had Shenandoah Shutters shutters in my home for 5 years and they looks as good today as they did the day I bought them, so I went back to buy more to outfit the rest of my first level. Working with the staff at Shenandoah Shutters has been quick and easy both times and truly a pleasure from measurements to install....they even custom order the paint I needed to match the other trim in my house!!! Their unique softedge hidden hinge shutter really sets them apart, and gets tons of compliments. 5 stars! read more

Very happy with the quality of the shutters and the customer service. The shutters aren't as bulky as the other shutters I looked at and the measurements and installation was easy. The quality and price is much better than a popular retail story that I used in the past which continue to break. I've had no issues with my Shenandoah Shutters and I know if I do, they will have someone out in a jiffy to correct it. The customer service is top notch! I often receive notes from Shenandoah Shutters as well as gifts when I refer a friend. This is a no brainer.... top quality product + great customer service! read more

We've now had 2 sets of shutters installed. Every part of this team's work is very professional and courteous. We really appreciate the clarity of the process which is well explained, and the time table which is adhered to. The shutters look sharp and fresh. The shutters have been a great upgrade for some 'so so' rooms. read more

This company came to my house and measured shutters for two window openings. The shutters they placed on our windows were completely wrong. They claimed our shutters did not open all the way so they installed the shutters on top of the window trim. We told the company the shutters should have been installed inside the window casing. The company refused to fix. Very disappointed we paid top dollar for poor service and unattractive shutters. read more
