Sales person start calling me in late evening ( around 8) in Saturday and next Sunday and ask me: what I decide about blinds . In Sunday he gets very rude because I still not decide and told his price last only few more hours and have to decide right now. I can't believe someone can do business like this. Needed two faux wood blinds installed of my home, original cost was over $1,200! The "deal" I ended up with was $686.74 which is still way expensive. Sales guy Howie said I'm paying for professional measurements and installation.... Yeah right. Installer came to my home on FOUR separate occasions to attempt to install incorrectly measured/made blinds for my two windows. Thankfully on the THIRD visit they got one of my two blinds correct. I had to argue with customer service over getting a full refund After the FORTH visit of the installer not getting my second blind installed. I requested 3 Day Blinds install the second blind for free as I've lost well over my income taking time off to be home to meet installer. 3 Day Blind isn't responding to my emails and I'm extremely disappointed in the service. Do not order from 3-day blinds. Last Nov 2023 They installed a rolling down blinds in my Sliding doors. It stopped working on 7/5/24. It is fully charged and the control pad has new lithium battery. I called their 800 no. And left my number. It's been 1.5 hours and no one has called me back! They only answer the phone when it is a new customer! By FAR THE WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH EVER! I give them ZERO STARS IF I COULD! The blinds came with NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL. No manual on how to pair it with the remote. All the guy said is keep it on Channel 1. The installer is a 3rd Party company. They do not explain to you that If you change that small lithium battery in the remote control, you need to reprogram the whole thing again. Since no instruction manual you have call them and after waiting for a call back for 1.5 hours, they send you by email a Video tutorial to figure it out by yourself. Then said if you still want a service it will cost you and you have to send them an email. The video sucks. I tried it several times it didn't work. Worst that little programming button (PB) broke off. Now am asking for a Replacement of the whole set up! They said if I need a service, a 3rd party company will call me to make a schedule. This is the worst product I have ever ordered and the worst nightmare I've had in years. Other big companies you can chat with a guy who will help you trouble shoot! 3-Day Blinds is a nightmare! You're better off buying those blinds from Home Depot or Lowe's. At least they Come with an instruction manual. And this 3 day Blind is expensive about $2K but NOT WORTH IT! They took my order for $18k in shutters and blinds. It took a week to get to get the blinds (not 3 days), and for the past 6 weeks I have been trying to get someone to correct the faulty installation of the shutters. Their warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on. Better look somewhere else. read more

Our three day blinds ended up a 6 month blinds. The "customer service agents were mostly unresponsive, and when they did respond were rude. We never given a point person to work with, once we signed the sales person was finished with us and did not give us a name. We made a choice, after much deliberation, and then had to make a change because all of a sudden what we wanted wasn't available. When installation was delayed many times, I asked to speak with the manager, and was told there wasn't one. By the end of our time, our slider did not work the way we were promised it would, but we were so sick and tired of 3 Day Blinds, we were just done. We recently contracted with 3dayblinds to create and install a custom 14 ft, curved traverse rod for our bay window. The installer came out and took careful measurements of the window, along with the curve on each side, and created a template to send to a 3rd party fabricator. Once the custom rod arrived, it was obvious to both me and the installer that the rod was too short, but he installed it anyway. We now have the following problems: 1) the two screws on the left side wall mount were not screwed into the wall and are in danger of coming out of the wall completely. 2) The rod came in 2 sections that slide together to form a single rod, but since the rod was too short, the installer mounted it with a 3 inch gap between the two sections. 3) Since the rod is too short, the drawstring on the right side was mounted at an angle, and is now rubbing against the window sill. All this for $1550! As of this morning, the sliders on each side have jumped the gap in the middle of the track and we can no longer open the curtains. All in all, terrible service and I cannot recommend 3dayblinds at all. read more

Our sales rep Troy, and the installer were very professional; punctual, addressed our needs, and followed through on commitments. We went with cordless textured honeycomb shades throughout the house and they are very high quality - sleek and modern. Windows we're measured accurately as the shades all have a perfect fit and open and close smoothly. The light filtering offers complete privacy while allowing adequate natural light through. This company must install the cheapest and lowest end hunter douglas products. I had $10k worth of motorized blinds installed and after 1 year the motorized functions stopped working. the remote is complete garbage and the wifi hub doesn't even work. After going into a HD interior design studio, I found that the real remote is of much higher quality. The 3 day blind remote is a 3 day blind branded piece of garbage. to get it repaired they charge you $89 plus a $25 per blind reprogram fee. after I dropped $10k - and the customer service line disconnected me three times. read more

We purchased 25 blinds for our home...90% of the blinds needed to be replaced due to incorrect sizing of the blinds. One year later one of the strings broke and they are charging me to come fix it...it is out of warranty. In one year the product broke!!! Unacceptable! During the final measure, the technician told me that product was not available in that color and that I would need to upgrade to the next level. I told him that was unacceptable. The technician told me he would speak to the designer. Never heard back. Called customer service and was told that they were holding me to the contract, which made no sense since they told that product in that color was unavailable. I had such an amazing experience with this company the first time I used them, it pains me to share this review and see how far the company has fallen when it comes to customer service. In our first house we used them and they created amazing custom window coverings for us with the best customer service. So, when we moved into our next house, they were my first and only call to install window coverings. What a complete disappointment we had with their products and service. I wanted to start with 8 windows (out of the 30 we want to replace) and selected window coverings for each. A salesperson came and measured for each window. I reviewed and agreed to the payment amount; however, right before I signed, the salesperson said that she forgot to include the valance on each window properly, so she would have to re-input the same order. She assured me the price would not change and everything would be the same. I trusted her, which was definitely my bad. She charged me the same price but it was only for 7 window coverings. When the installer came, she had left off a whole window in the "new" order. When I called her, she treated me like I was an idiot, argued with me, and said I was wrong that she never measured for 8 windows, only 7. The worst part is, we had a whole conversation about the artwork in the room she "never measured". She refused to help and said coming out to measure one window was not worth her time. I was done with her anyway by that time. And now, 2 years later, the window covering are broken and useless. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Their sales person was dishonest and their products is do not last. My only saving grace was that I went to another company for all the other windows. read more

3 Day Blinds set up an appointment for my mini blinds to be repaired. They contracted the work to a company working in the Fresno area and I waited 3 weeks for the appointment. When the workers came into my home and saw they were mini blinds, they said they didn't repair mini blinds and walked right out. Upon contacting 3 Day Blinds again, I was told that they did relate to the installer/repair vendor that I had mini blinds. I have no way of knowing if this is true. I am very happy with all of the blinds in my home that I bought from 3 Day Blinds in 2005, back when they had a brick-and-mortar store in Fresno, CA, but I will not ever work with them again now that they are remote. Made an appointment 2 weeks ago. Made arrangements to be home at the time of the appointment. On the day of the appointment, 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, received a call from the person coming called and said that they would be over an hour late. Told him not to come and don't reschedule. Then within 10 minutes they rescheduled us for 3 weeks out. Called and told them to cancel. The company made no attempt to provide any alternative or compensation to the unproffesional canellation of the appointment. I am sorry 3 day blinds my time is too valuable to work around your poor scheduling. Any business that lets their customer know they are going to be 1 hour late 15 minutes after they were supposed to show does not deserve my business. Very upset with 3 Day Blinds. I scheduled an appointment and they were all too happy to continually text me to schedule it. The salesman came out and measured our windows, took my order, but then notified me that they no longer carry the fabric that I wanted. Too bad the sample was still in his binder. I then ordered a different fabric, and I gave him deposits. A week passes by, I hear nothing so I email the salesman and he tells me, oops, your order didn't go through, it's a new system, let me send it through again. Okay, I let him send it through again. Another week passes, and I hear nothing. I email the salesman. Oops he says, I guess that your order still didn't go through - new system you know. ARRGG! I then spent 20 minutes on hold without anyone ever answering my call. I email the salesman and ask him to cancel my order. He says - no problem, I don't blame you. It's cancelled he says. I just wonder why he could cancel an order so easily when he couldn't seem to place the order in the first place. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Will never deal with this company again. I recommend choosing a different company for your blinds if you aim for motorized options. We've had issue after issue working with them - their 'hub' technology, which is supposed to allow for remote control from phones, is highly spotty, and neither ourselves nor the technicians who did our installs have been able to get them working. On top of this, 3 Day Blinds has either failed to send a remote - the only other option for controlling the blinds - or has sent the wrong remote on three occasions. When I tried to contact their customer service, they could not help, and the most recent rep was rude and then hung up on me. I've been unable to use these blinds for three weeks with no support from their customer service. I wish I had picked a different service and hope that I can save others the trouble by leaving this review. read more

Had the worst experience with this company. We wanted custom drapes. The rep comes over, shows us samples, we select our things and she promises that we'll have someone out to install them in 2 weeks, most likely earlier. 3-4 weeks go by and no one calls. I keep calling the company to check on the order and the person in charge of my account was never in the office. More weeks go by, I finally get someone to look into my order and they say they THINK the installation company got the parts. They try to contact the installation company, no one answers and then they gave me the number. A few days later, I finally get ahold of the installation company and we schedule the appointment for the install. The guy comes to install, starts unloading and realized he's missing a part. Dumps everything on the floor of our room and leaves, promising their company will call us that day. Days go by, no one calls. I call 3 day blinds, they assure me that a case has been opened and promise to call me back. I have to call again days later and they say the case is still open but they'll go ahead and order the part. And they promise some money back for the hassle. 2-3 weeks later, I get in touch with the install company and they come over to install the curtains finally. It took about 3 months to get this done. With the crazy amount we spent on the curtains, there is nothing special about it and it's definitely not worth the price. Also I never received the money back that was promised. They had assured me twice that a check was on its way, I never received it. Every time I call them I'm put on hold for 20 minutes and given no answers to my order. The people that do answer are quite rude and extremely unhelpful. I am shocked by their horrible customer service and strongly urge everyone not to use their service, it's not worth the headache. read more

At this point we are at 6 month blinds... Received a referral from my in-laws and they too have been having issues. Unfortunate for us, the install started (February) with incorrect measurements and broken delivered shutters, which have yet to be replaced. We started the process in November... Today is April 13th. I have used 3DB 3 times now. Every time I tell myself never again. The salesmen are really nice and professional; the blinds themselves are of decent quality; the customer service people are very helpful and friendly, but the installers are HORRIBLE. Constant cancellations; having to redo the installation over and over; calling to say they'd be over on a certain time or day and just never showing up; not bringing the needed tools. I am very disappointed with the three day blinds. Cost, service and and the design work. I rate them zero out of five stars. We hired three day blinds to install blinds on all of windows in our new house. The first time the installer came in to install blinds, the design specialist forgot to order one of the blinds and a hub and brought only two remotes for 13 windows. Some of the window blinds had light gaps and we had to call to replace them with correct blinds. The design specialist did not show up for the appointment next time and later told us that she was out sick, but she never called us. The third time the installer came in to install newly ordered blinds. We found out one of blinds was the wrong size and left without replacing the blind. The third time, the design specialist ordered wrong size again. For some reason the installer was pulled out of the house really fast without syncing remotes for the blinds so I called the three day blinds and complained what happened and what three day blind said they will rush the order, but sent us the completion form of the job. read more

I'm not sure why this company is called 3 day blinds. We ordered blinds last August and were told they'd be installed late December/early January. We didn't get them installed until May. The worst part is they still haven't been fully installed because someone didn't measure or cut our blinds correctly, so 2 of the 5 we ordered didn't fit. And we were just told it would be another month till they arrived correctly, even though they said they'd be installed beginning of July. And on top of that, not one call was made by their company this entire time that they would be delayed or that there was any issue to begin with. It's almost been a year and we still don't have our order complete. Customer service has done very little to help with anything. I would NOT recommend this company to any one. read more

I'm leaving a 3 star review, because their customer service is so disjointed and incredibly slow at responding. We had an installer no-show, and we called 3-Day Blinds, and they didn't do anything. They have different install companies, the sales person, and their customer service, and all operate fairly separately, which is frustrating. The installation company did end up apologizing and came out the next day, and were very nice at that point. But to take time off of work and wait for a company who doesn't call, answer calls, or show is terrible. And when I wanted to order another shade, 3 Day Blinds took so long to respond that I gave up. I literally don't need it right this second, and the hassle wasn't worth the effort. They were still better than Home Depot though, who sent someone out to measure and then lost those measurements. Home Depot also doesn't send someone to your home to show you their product options. And we are very happy with the final product. We do love our shades. read more

I spent $1000 on 2 sets of blinds, you would think you would be taken care of. Our in home "consultant" Bobby Scott reversed the colors on the blinds when he did the ordering. Bobby told me that I needed to contact their customer service. Last time I checked I don't work for 3 Day Blinds and this isn't my responsibility it's his. Ordered custom shutters third week March 2021. Was told at the time that installation would very likely occur on or before July 1. That was acceptable. I called for an update on June 22. I was told that the shutters had been delivered to the installer a week earlier, but I had still not received a call from the installer to schedule the installation. I was given the installer's contact info at KC Window Coverings. I have since called 3 Day Blinds and the installer several times. It's been about 2 weeks and there is no call back from the installer. I called 3 Day Blinds again and they pass on the blame to the manufacturer, Norman Shutters. 3 Day Blinds keeps passing the buck to the manufacturer and the installer. They are putting in zero effort to get my issue resolved, which is to at minimum simply schedule the installation. There are many shutter manufacturers in the area so I suggest going with any of them if you would like any modicum of customer service or support. 6/29 update: Although a "case" was opened up about 24 hours ago to get my issue resolved, I have still not received a call from the installer to schedule the installation. It is apparent that 3 Day Blinds has little-to-no control of their partners and subcontractors. Therefore, I restate that ordering from 3 Day Blinds should be avoided because there is no recourse when issues arise. 6/30 update: Late 6/29, the installer called to schedule installation for next week. He claimed 3 Day Blinds and Norman Shutters were escalating to him without reason. He stated that he did not receive my shutters two weeks ago but rather only a few days ago. He said that 3 Day Blinds "does this all the time," which I take to mean that they blame installers and don't take ownership of any issues. There is no way for me to validate the veracity of any side's claims, This is more "finger-pointing" and more evidence of poor customer service. Someone is lying. The installer also mentioned that he has "12 pallets of material" sitting in his driveway and his shed is packed full. He admitted to being swamped and behind schedule. He stated that there aren't enough installers and because of that 3 Day Blinds has been blaming him for failing to meet their commitments. read more

A complete home window treatment with '3 Day Blinds' and I'm very happy that I have my honeycomb blinds. The selection, color, and function of these blinds are great with the exception of the measurement and order of the blinds were not seamless. Don't do it. The rep was 45 minutes late and acted like it was my fault. Was extremely pushy and made me and my fiance uncomfortable when bringing up "our budget" about 65 times. Made a huge mess in our living room and then proceeded to let us know that " he is a man and can take it of we aren't interested, instead of acting cowardly and telling him up front". All we wanted was for him out of our house. Never ever ever would i recommend this company. Go with The Blind Guy. Chris Kirby did our Plantations for 1/2 the price of the standard blinds 3 Day quoted us. He was amazing. Need to write a review for them next. When we bought our home, one of the things that I loved was all the big, sunny windows. When summer came, I was less fond of the huge south-facing window in our dining area that heated up the house more effectively than the furnace. We called 3 Day Blinds because, while we wanted something quickly, we wanted the *right* something. Their representative, Jeffry, was prompt, professional, not only knowledgeable about the product lines, but had a great understanding of what we hoped to achieve, stylistically.
