I've always enjoyed any location of Les 3 Brasseurs. Their beer, food and atmosphere just always float my boat! Or perhaps it's the beer making me float?! I do have to admit, I miss the unlimited peanuts!

Hyper aggressive bouncers. Over priced drinks and food. Typical recipe for a chain restaurant.

We go to Macallan's for trivia night every Tuesday. (Call to reserve a table for this in advance!)…read more It's always a lot of fun and the top three teams get a prize (gift cards to... you guessed it). The facility itself is always clean, even if there is the odd case of the ceiling needing a couple repairs, (the bad storm we had did a number on it) you barely notice it. The staff is super pleasant and unless the kitchen is super slammed, the food doesn't take long. You hear the *ding* from the kitchen bell every so often and the smells that come from it always make me want to eat something. I usually get a poutine because it's my favorite "cheat" meal but my fellow trivia team members always get an assortment of food and there is rarely ever a complaint. They host other themed nights and special events/contests/musical guests on their stage for holidays etc. Overall, we love coming here for a break from the weekly routine to have a night of (somewhat) educational fun.

We went on a Thursday and they had half-price wings and chicken tenders, which is such a good deal…read more The place had a fun vibe with an open mic night going on there was a live performance while we were there which made the night even better. We sat at the bar as a group of four and stayed for about two hours. Service was great our bartender (long dark hair, blue eyes) was super friendly and attentive the whole time. Drinks were on point too, I had a Coors on tap. Overall, prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is chill but still lively. Would definitely come back!

West Island hidden gem…read more I'll cut to the chase. Do yourself a favour and grab a bucket of balls and head out here for a few hours because the food is really good. We got the club sandwich and the chicken wasn't that mock fake stuff you get at half the restaurants this was seasoned and real chicken. They also used maple bacon and put a slice of cheese in there. Not a single complaint was made that meal and I'm super picky about how my bacon is cooked and I didn't even have to order well done they nailed it. Cesar was nice as well but one of the best things was the fish tacos. It's not usually my thing but they were the best ones I've ever tried! my friends agreed and I now have to come back just for those. Poutine is great as well they give you real big chunks of curd cheese but the real best part is their fries, just a hint of sweetness. Great service this family run location is a must try. You gotta relax on the patio it's huge and so many friendly people to chit chat with.

The terasse is nice during the summer for some sangria and fish tacos. The fish is so fresh, definitely not frozen. I was quite surprised at how good the food was. Both beers can not be found in Vancouver. He had a poutine and I got a brisket burger with fries. The brisket burger was ok. the bun and briskets were somewhat dry. The fries wasn't wow. B's poutine looked super sad. Six Pints was skimpy on the cheese. Food here is pricey. Service was ok here. It was super busy when we came. But again Six Pint is located inside the airport and that pretty much explains why it is so packed. Also the airport doesn't have a lot of food options especially in the domestic side. So... Six Pints was our only option to kill time. Just an OK pub/restaurant.

We had an $11 beer which was basic - it's the airport so that is expected. Academy of beer…read more.. serving things like coors light? Not sure what else they have since the drinks menu was unclear but everything I saw on tap looked basic. The poutine was inedible for me because the fries were overcooked and tasted like old oil which was noticeable from the brown colour as soon as they set the plate down. They could see that between two people we did not finish them - my partner ate them because he was that hungry; I had a few then ate a protein bar I brought with me. Server didn't check in but was next to us being made to do inventory of spirits yelling across to the manager the number of each type in the cupboard. We waited a long time to ask for the bill while our server was doing inventory. Asked another waiter for the bill who told us the other one had to bring it since she took our order but did not tell her we wanted it so we waited some more for them to finish inventory. I really hope they can improve their food quality, hire more servers, and provide them with clear training. The one waiter was very nice but running around like crazy. The tables are only being wiped down after customers are seated or ask - this is not hygienic at all.
