    Lemon blueberry crunch

Friendly service and the ice cream always has a consistent taste. The prices are more than reasonable and way worth it than Hershey Park.

Stopped by to enjoy some ice cream and was surprised to see they have new favors. After years of being opened they have new favors! I tried the gram cracker crunch, ice cream- amazing! Gram cracker flavored ice cream with graham cracker swirls and dark chocolate covered honeycomb pieces! The best part is that the servings are so big I can literally freeze the leftovers and a cup and eat it over three days! Seriously, I ordered a small and it was 4 over sized scoops! Talk about value!

Delish! Stopped by on a whim today, and I'm glad we did. They have many, many flavors of hand-dipped ice cream, as well as vanilla, chocolate, and twist in soft serve. The portions are huge for a very reasonable price. We got a large cup and single scoop for under $10. The ice cream was rich and creamy! The service was fast and efficient. There are some picnic tables around and a grassy hillside but otherwise nowhere to sit, so just be aware when you go--because you definitely should plan your visit!

    An Italian hoagie with everything

I cannot say enough good things about 3B. The ice cream is fantastic. I love the huge selection they have of flavors, and toppings. The staff is always friendly, and gets orders completed quickly. Now onto what I have in my photo (an Italian hoagie with everything)....the subs are to die for. Hands down one of the best Italian subs I've ever had. Everything is fresh, and it hits the spot everytime. Also, this monster was only $11.32! I believe the price went up 50 cents or so from last year, but this is still the steal of the century. Go here for the ice cream, but don't forget about the sandwiches!!

ICE CREAM SUMMER This past summer and into early fall I visited 3B weekly - taste testing all of the flavors. My thoughts below on a scale of 1-5 with 5 at the top of the scale. OUTSTANDING - ranking=5 - Black Raspberry !!!! - Caramel Pretzel !!!! - Chocolate - smooth with a hint of cocoa taste, tastes like chocolate frosting - Chocolate Marshmallow - tastes like hot chocolate - Cinnamon Cookie !!!! - Coconut Almond Swirl - good mix of textures ... must like coconut texture - Coffee - not a coffee fan but very good with limited aftertaste - Moose Tracks !!!! - Peanut Butter (PB) !!!! - PB Supreme - vanilla I/C with chocolate and PB syrup and PB cup - Pumpkin - so creamy and right flavor balance - Rainbow Sherbet - creamy, refreshing and a nice sweet mix - Vanilla !!!! VERY GOOD - ranking=4 - Butter Brickle - sticky and good but a little too buttery, let it melt a little before eating it mixes better - Chocolate Almond - super chocolate flavor with nice size of almond chunks - Chocolate Chip - creamy vanilla with dark chocolate hips but needs higher chocolate chip ratio - Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - dough is a 5, chocolate is a 3 as needs larger chunks - Chocolate Malt Chip - can taste the Whoppers with good amount of chips and right level of chocolate - Cookie Crumble - good ratio of cookie to ice cream - Lemon Blueberry Crunch - little less lemon needed - Mint Chocolate Chip - too minty - Sinfully Chocolate - rich with nice chocolate pieces MISSING SOMETHING - ranking=3 - Black Cherry - creamy vanilla, cherries have a good texture but way too light on taste - Butter Pecan - pecan taste is too burnt - Chocolate PB Cup - chocolatey to the max with heavy chunks of PB would be better if blended more - Graham Slam - missing something maybe marshmallow - Party Cake - mixed with brightly colored cake, fun to look at but way too sugary - Peaches and Creme - too much creme and not enough peaches - Strawberry - needs more flavor should be bits of strawberry and not large chunks - Strawberry Cheesecake - nice mix of vanilla and strawberry but very light on taste - Teaberry - nice and creamy texture but not my taste profile NOT FOR ME - ranking=2 - Cotton Candy - strawberry like ice cream with bits of cotton candy, sprinkles are too sweet DIDN'T RATE IT - Mocha Cookie - not a coffee fan and this one is too strong for me but cookies are great

I am always in awe of all the different flavors but opt for the same-thing-every-time which is the Lemon-Blueberry crunch milkshake. A refreshing shake that doesn't bore me....EVER. Once you have acquired your deliciousness, the seating offerings area plentiful, though not as idyllic as their Halifax location. Pricing is pricing, 5 bucks for a shake, often down at least 20 bucks when we go here with the family.

Black cherry in waffle cone. Small came to $5.30. Great ice cream but I still think this place is expensive! ‍

The ice cream here is really good. I got a peanut butter sundae and they didn't skimp on the PB sauce!! Yum! They serve ice cream along with hot food here as well. I haven't tried their hot food, so I can't comment. My only complaint is the prices. Maybe people in the area are used to high ice cream prices, but coming from the northeast, we had a bunch of ice cream stands (good ones) that were very reasonably priced for what you got. I paid almost $10 for a large plain ice cream in a cup and a small peanut butter sundae. I wasn't impressed with portion sizes. And that didn't count the tip.

    Yummy split

Saturday on the way back we found this little spot and immediately pulled in to taste a treat after being in the sunshine. Worth every penny- I had a banana split which was huge - vanilla icecream, raspberry and mocha crunch mmmmm ( raspberry was amazing ), the mocha crunch had Oreo cookie and cookie dough mixed inside. Outside benches to sit on and near a stream . 2000% would go again!!!

Ask the Community - 3 B Ice Cream

Can you shipped it to me? Using dry ice? I don't live anywhere even close to your locations but I would love to try some!

I'm pretty sure they don't ship. It's a pretty barebones operation. Fwiw, they don't make their own ice cream. It's mostly commercial brands, like Turkey Hill.

    Hours of operation?

Best to check their Facebook page. Different locations may have different hours, all in flux because of changing seasons

Kristy's Whistle Stop is a time machine with sprinkles on top…read more The last time I was here? Well...let's just say it was before AOL, dial-up modems, and ICQ chat rooms. Before "the internet" was even a thing for regular folks. Basically, I hadn't been back since dinosaurs roamed the earth (aka 30-ish years ago). And honestly? Not much has changed--and that's exactly what makes it perfect. Picture this: 50's-style décor, a pavilion full of those old-school round concrete tables, and a line of ice cream lovers spilling out the door and halfway into the parking lot. I showed up on the Friday of Labor Day weekend and sure enough--limited parking, crowds everywhere, and people walking around holding ice cream creations so glorious they could've been centerpieces at a wedding. After standing in line (and mentally preparing for glory), I found my holy grail: The Stinson Special. Peanut butter ice cream loaded with Reese's Puffs, Reese's Pieces, peanut butter cups, and a peanut butter swirl. Basically, peanut butter on peanut butter on PEANUT BUTTER. No way was I risking this masterpiece in a cone--two scoops in a bowl, please and thank you. A few minutes later, I heard the call: "STINSON SPECIAL--TWO SCOOPS!" That was my moment. I grabbed my prize, slid into a concrete table under the pavilion, and...oh. my. goodness. It was orgasmic. Every single bite was a peanut butter explosion with different textures and crunches--smooth, swirly, chocolatey, crunchy perfection. Halfway through I had to take an intermission to gather strength before diving back in. Worth every bite. Next time, I'm hunting down the pulled pork sandwich I haven't had since the 90s--if it's even half as good as I remember, I'll be in foodie heaven all over again. Pro tips: - Get there early. - Expect a line (and enjoy the people-watching). - Have a game plan for where you're eating, because the inside is way too crowded for a proper foodgasm. Kristy's Whistle Stop is still doing its thing after all these years...and its thing is absolutely worth the trip.

Personally I would like more ice cream than cheesecake and graham cracker. Also got fried pickles and fries, the fried pickles were good. The fries had no salt on them so they're bland, have to add salt yourself. Service was good, even though it was busy the ice cream and food came out quick.
