I have been to numerous creameries in the state and Hall's is right in the middle. Not the best, but a decent creamery. Good selection of ice cream to satisfy most. Pricing is good for the portion size. Plenty of seating inside for hot days, but a nice set-up with 4 picnic tables with umbrellas in back. If you're in the Millersville area, stop in and get some ice cream. read more

Great little place for ice cream and they have treats for your dog also. Definitely would go back again.

We tried them because they were on the South Central Ice Cream Trail. We had Peach Yogurt, Blueberry, and Honey Raspberry. The ice cream was okay, nothing special. The interior was dated and the prices were decent but overall we weren't very impressed. read more

Stop in today and two employees that really didn't seem to know how to do their job and moving at a snails pace. No concern for urgency while customers waiting to order. Ended up walking out and we stopped at Giant and bought a tub of Turkey Hill All Natural ice cream. Made our own sundaes at home at a fraction of the cost and the ice cream was just as good if not better. read more

Hall's Ice Cream has been in business for 62 years, manufacturing and retailing rich creamy delicious ice cream. Lite, Premium (14% butterfat), honey, and no-sugar-added flavors are available. Their no-frills shop in Millerstown (just across the bridge from downtown) has all flavors of ice cream available, as well as cheese, meats, and other snack, its open Fri 5p-9p, Saturday 4pm-9pm and Sun 2p-9pm. Awesome ice cream! Usually have a really good selection. Really fresh and homemade. I am an ice cream snob but halls is one of the few I love. They have decent hours for after dinner ice cream trips. Honey sweetened flavors also. Sundaes are good size. We are regulars here and it is always really good! read more

Good ice cream, but they treat their employees terribly. I came in on a Wednesday evening for a scoop and found they had only one teenage girl working. The poor girl was visibly freaked-out because apparently a man had been sitting in the restaurant alone for a long while, watching her, and had left only a few minutes before I got there. Seeing as this place is in the middle of nowhere, it is incredibly irresponsible to leave a young girl completely alone. She was apparently closing alone. A couple minutes after getting my ice cream, dozens of people came in. The line was out the door. This girl, still recovering from her fright, had to single-handedly serve this horde of customers. I give this place one star despite it being relatively clean and serving par ice cream. It's terribly irresponsible, and borderline reprehensible, for a company to treat their employees so poorly. read more

Hall's has delicious, quality ice cream but the service is often slow and it's somewhat pricey. If you're from out of town, it's a nice place to stop and enjoy though. read more
