Too overwhelming to shop/thrift. I didn't like that clothes was not organized by sz. Prices too high for 2nd hand, staff was not welcoming or attentive. They say they want high end designer brands, yet I saw Shein items in the racks. Will not be selling, buying or returning to this business. read more

New second hand store in Coolidge Corner! Refreshing rival to Buffalo Exchange with more high end and designer items like Chanel, Gucci, Burberry, etc., and more mid range brands like Coach, Kate Spade and Marc Jacobs. The super high end bags are in the front behind glass and the midrange bags are dispersed through the store on shelves above the clothing. I really enjoyed browsing here but didn't see anything quite worth buying. I contemplated a Kate Spade makeup bag but the price seemed about the same price as a similar item I saw on sale new at the Wrentham Outlet location several years ago. Hmmm. Loved the music and the way they organized the bags. I'm not much into thrift store clothes so didn't really look much and the clothes but this is worth a stop in for the bags. Very poor customer service- no one greeted me, no one engaged with me in any way and even when I was checking out their flyers and info on selling, I was completely ignored. Staff here seem to hate life and everyone in the store. At least Buffalo Exchange employees greet you when you walk in. I suppose come here if you are looking for more high end items. read more

2nd Street to Coolidge corner! We've been to the Burlington mall location and was stoked to see them open one down here where i feel it fits in real well! We were in the area to try a new ramen spot, and there was a wait so we took a stroll and saw it open. Checked out the items, everything was neat and organized, they had some gem brands from designers to indie houses. Prices were reasonable! The staff here tonight was super chill, helped us look at some wallets in the glass! They had Canada goose, moose knucks, the Nike and NB attire and kicks! Little bit of everything! read more

2nd STREET has arrived in Brookline! They are a chain of thrift stores that sell second hand pieces, some stuff you'll find at your typical thrift store/Saver's & other stuff that are more particular like designer goods & brands! The designer brands are placed at the front of the store, with a decent selection of bags, small leather goods, & jewelry from brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Celine, & Balenciaga. For clothing brands, I was able to find brands like Marni, OffWhite, Burberry, and more! Everything we saw today looked very clean! All the shoes were very clean & looked like they were in pristine condition. They also authenticate their goods through Entrupy. I really like all the 2nd STREET locations I have visited because I believe they wash all the clothes before putting them out for display. A noticeable difference from other average thrift stores just upon entering. Very clean feeling. Staff was super kind today & were helpful with our shopping. Highly recommend if you're looking for some cute new fashion pieces to add to your collection without having to pay a hefty price tag! read more

NO one should ever sell things here. Ever! I waited 5 hours for them to look at two bags of clothes after telling me 1.5 hours, and then I came back and they offered me 80 cents. Seriously! I walked across the street to Buffalo Exchange and in 15 minutes I got $167 for the same 2 bags of clothes. Don't ever sell anything here, don't buy anything here (the person who buys clothes has a terrible attitude problem), just walk by this second rate fleabag used clothing store. Poor! Go to Cambridge. Walked in. Waited at reception. 3ppl at counter. No greeting. Clerk finished with person in front of me. Then walked away. I waited. Moving boxes, rummaging, walked away. Incredible selection of clothes for anyone's style and for a pretty fair price!! I got a few pieces that were only $6, but other more high end brands are worth a bit more but still good considering original prices. The people are very nice and friendly. Overall, an amazing place with a great vibe. read more

When they miss Mark items, they charge according to the mismatched item. we bought a sweater and dress, but the tags said they were purses not dresses. They charged us tax on the price of the "purse "even though it was closing. We explained in Massachusetts there is no tax on closing, but the quote manager quote, insisting that because the tag said they were both purses pay tax.! We said "do you not see that this is a sweater and a dress? " the impatient manager, stated "of the taxes their purse, so you have to pay tax.." How many times have faith pulled a stunt on other customers? The staff seems unaware of policy, customer service and admitting to their staff mistakes. read more

There are two consignment shops on Harvard Street in Brookline, and both are awful for different reasons. Buffalo Exchange says that it takes in clothes from those that are older than high school/college age, but it doesn't. Try bringing them 50 pieces of designer mechandise of different types, all in pristine condition, and they will find a reason to dismiss each piece. None of them had the holes in different places that are usually in the garments that make up their window display. The salespeople are awful. 2nd Street Coolidge Corner has nice salespeople, but they pay PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR, even for things that they like and see the worth of the product. They then turn around and sell purses for hundreds, up to more than a thousand dollars. Don't go to them either to sell. read more

I was hoping this store would be better than the Buffalo Exchange, at least when it comes to selling, but I was wrong! I brought in 20 items; they were willing to take all 20 items and give me $24.00!!!!! Are you kidding me? The clothing was in excellent condition, and the shoes and boots were barely worn or had only been worn indoors. Needless to say, I took everything back. I'd rather donate my items than get ripped off. read more
