Incredible business. John is incredible at not only finding issues but resolving them with little to no hassle. The business is very old school and they speak from experience and don't tell you what you want to hear but rather what you need to. They've been working on my challengers for a couple years now and I've had 0 issues with the wide range of improvements and modifications I've had them do. LOL love how the shop deleted their reply!!! I feel so bad for anyone going here. Incompetent, unhelpful, and stupid are only a few of the many, many words I could use to describe the owner, and this shop.. Long story short, I took my car here to have downpipes installed. They installed them in 4 hours and when I drove home I noticed bad vibrations. The 02 sensors were hitting each other under load. Go back next morning and he tried to blame it on the downpipes(o2 location) when all that needed to be done was a slight rotation on one downpipes. I couldn't live with this rattle so I had them reinstall the stock dp's. Charged me 250 for install that wasn't proper and another 200 to reinstall the stock ones. ROBBED! Also took hours for there one man mechanic to put the stock ones in. LOL owner(John) is lazy and shows no intention of helping the customer out. This shops just sucks period, wasted my time and money. Whatever took it to LTMW and they installed them and what do you know? NO PROBLEMS! Also took only 1.5 hours when 2k took 4!!!! **10-30-13*** Update looks like John's responded.. Again... Assuming things isn't smart. I have graduated high school and am fully employed. Next time you should try to say "Hey Alec, I'm extremely sorry for wasting your time and money. I would love to give you a full refund for the poor install we did or give you some type of store credit." Seriously John, did you even go to school? You obviously have no idea how to run a business. The WORST customer service ever! The person running the store had a negative attitude in store and on the phone. I went in for simple lightbulb replacement, and couldn't answer a simple question. When asked the question he tried to making me feel stupid. Once I said "you shouldn't talk to people like that" he cancel my transaction. A real asshole that looks like he hates his job. I would too if I was in my 30s working at a dead-end job. I wouldn't suggest this shop to anyone! read more

Paid the $120 to check for my suspension noise, picked up the car and still was the same. Went back and his response was call H&R customer service it's probably this or that. I called 2K for a set of springs they had for sale. They said they had them in stock and i offered to pay by phone, so they wouldnt sell them and that I would be there the next morning to pick them up. So the next day I headed out to there shop. (an hour drive for me) On my way out i asked if they could get them ready for pickup, the guy on the phone said he would call me back in 5 min. He called me back 5 min later just to tell me he didnt have the springs anymore. What the fuck happened to them? I asked what they could do to fix this problem and they said "sorry". First off, this is my second time at this shop. I didn't write a yelp the first time cause I hadn't purchased anything and only asked for knowledge and prices on a few items, mainly spring kits, exhaust systems, and lighting. I spoke with John and he answered every question I had in a honest manner, even random ones just to see what else they could do. He was very knowledgeable on every item I asked about without hesitation, and I know he wasn't talking out of his rear cause I've looked these products up before. Just for that this shop deserves 5 stars. Anyways, I'm giving 5 stars on this one because I literally called about 45 mins prior to the shop closing asking about certain wheels which I wanted but didn't need. I mainly needed 4 tires for my 18"s but thought this might be a good chance to upgrade to 19"s in which I've been wanting, so I got there about 15 mins to closing and I got bad ass wheels and tires for way better of a price than even online prices. Also managed to get them installed that day, knowing I had a far drive later that night. Not gonna mention what I paid because in a way it was sort of like a treat others like you'd treat your yourself feeling and I don't think rude people should get hooked up the way I did. I have been coming here on and off whenever I have time for a new project for the past 2-3 years first for a lot of bolt on upgrades for my tsx and now for more exterior and stance upgrades for my Honda fit and these guys treat you right. Never had an issue and their prices are more than fair. Also one thing I like about them is they take appointments because if they are to busy they won't even do a half ass job on your car and take the money they just don't start and pencil you in for another time when they can put all their time and effort into your vehicle. John is a great guy with a great business. I came in three years ago to have my cutouts installed on my exhaust and they sounded amazing and made me laugh every time I heard them. They made every passenger I had scream. Eventually the cutout motors failed but he was happy to replace them as long as I just paid for labor. I've also gotten brake pads and rotors for my friends car and they were cheaper and better than anywhere else even online and he had them the next day. Unfortunately my car that had the exhaust installed has since been totaled due to an incompetent driver but that's besides the point. When I couldn't find a copy of the receipt for the insurance I called John and asked him if he could help. He said of course and apologized for the situation then told me to come in the next day. When I got there I had missed John but this very kind woman was there and she did an amazing job helping me. She found me the original receipt! From two years ago! I was flabbergasted they still had it. I look forward to working with John and the team at 2k in the future with any vehicle I have. Thank you again John for everything and all your help. I've had several very good experiences with 2K Speed. 1. I was having a problem with my exhaust system which several muffler shops had been unable to fix. One referred me to 2K who completely solved the problem at a very reasonable price; 2. 2K speed installed a performance air filter that did all it was claimed to do; 3. I had a real "ghost in the machine" electrical problem which 2 other shops had failed to rectify. John solved the problem quickly and for a good price. Most importantly, he told that he found an amperage drop between the alternator and the battery. He said we could either spend a great deal of time tracking it down, or simply do a "bypass" and run another line directly from the alternator to the battery. I went with the latter option and it solved the problem completely. Perhaps because he works on performance projects and upgrades, he is able to "think outside the box" in solving problems. Most mechanics are barely able to bolt on the new part that the code machine id's. John is a real diagnostician and problem solver. Highly recommended. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!! I bought a set of rims that were specifically advertised for my make and model of car... the rims did not fit. The owner acknowledged that it was his mistake yet refused to refund, exchange, or otherwise remedy the problem without me paying either a 30% restocking fee or the expense of modifying the rims to fit. The owner was incredibly rude and cocky and combative when discussing the issue. I am a life long car collector/restorer... I have dealt with countless shops and have purchased literally thousands of parts and rims for various vehicles and have never had an experience even close to as lame and unprofessional as this. I was getting my BMW 325i fixed down the street at BMW Clinic and while I was waiting, I happen to come upon this place. Saw some Hartge Classic replica wheels (Miro 347). They happen to be on sale at an amazing price. After I got my Bimmer back, I swung back and asked if I could see a wheel next to my car. John was happy to oblige and placed it over my current wheel on some wood blocks. Once I saw what they looked on my car, I knew I had to have them.
