Ive been a customer at Z Alignment for roughly 7 years and I can honestly say ill never recommend or return to them again after this experience. I had multiple BRAND NEW suspension components AND OEM wheels hubs installed on my custom Infiniti. It was a Friday and they were closing but they still got me in for an alignment after my new parts install which I really appreciated. I drove the car home about 10 minutes and everything felt AMAZING! I was sooo happy! The very next morning (Saturday) I take the car out for its first drive on the freeway and about 30 minutes in the car is shaking a bit and I realize my steering wheel is slightly off from center which it wasnt before the alignment. Not a big deal honestly and ill go back Monday morning, must have missed it since I only drove it home. Well about 15 mins or so later im still on the freeway and my car start swaying to the left and right. Really scary feeling so I pulled over thinking maybe I have a flat tire. Checked and they all looked good. I got back up to freeway speed and after about another 5 minutes the car was now swaying even more. Pulled over and checked the tires again with nothing apparent so i checked the back bolts. Thought I could see them loose but was sure I was being paranoid since everything is brand new. This time when I merged onto the freeway I wasn't able to go over 55 without feeling like the car was now dangerous to drive. Went 40 on the freeway with my hazards on to get off. A local mechanic I found referred me to a shop he knew that was open because it was 8:30am on a Saturday. The shop was roughly 10 minutes away so I figured not a big deal and again well talk to Z alignment Monday morning. Well about 2 minutes from the alignment shop my rear tires started making an extremely loud squealing/humming sound and shaking. I got out to check and was sure I could see bolts loose now. Drove the car between 7-12mpg for about 2 minutes driving as slow as possible so the sound wouldn't occur. Well I get to the alignment shop and I can see the rear tires are tilted in at the top not at all straight. As soon as I step back and theyre pulling it in. Once its lifted I asked to take a look underneath and immediately found that the bolts that looked loose were freely spinning and the control arms had backed out. The alignment shop took care of me and agreed that the alignment being off that much would cause damage to the bearing of the hubs at freeway speeds. After I left I could feel that the car was now jerking from initial stops and at low speeds you can feel the back tires jumping/catching as if theyre not rolling smoothly which is the exact reason and symptom as to why I installed brand new OEM bearings and got the alignment which DID correct the issue until the alignment failed damaging the new hardware. Hey things happen. I call Z Alignment Monday morning to let the owner know whats going on and he essentially tried to blow me off saying ill take a look but its not our fault.. before even inspecting it or seeing the pictures and videos. He took a look and everything was in place, which made sense because the other shop fixed it. I showed him everything and he told me drive the car more and let him know. He also tried to refund me but I denied saying id like the vehicle properly repaired it there continues to be an issue. Well ive driven the car twice since then for about 10-15 miles each trip and both times the car felt pretty bumpy and choppy from the back. Now come Monday a week later I go back to have my Altimas alignment done and speak with the owner concerning my Infiniti. The owner wouldnt accept my payment for my altimas alignment and tried to call it even for my Infiniti. I had to start recording and clearly state that I was not accepting the alignment as compensation for the damage to my Infiniti to which the owner ended up saying it was on the house. Hey man I tried paying like really tried but sure. Tell me "bring the car anytime" to which I say now? He clearly says anytime being passive aggressive at this point. Long story short I bring the car, he tries to play games brining other customers cars in first even though he told me to come right then so I played my stereo half volume (its upgraded) until he decided to pull me in instead, inspects the car and says no damage, calls a neighbor mechanic then agrees theres damage but refuses liability. The owner then goes on to tell me about how he knows more about cars then me (I ran an automotive facility for 7 years haha) and agree the BRAND NEW wheel hardware have play and are damaged but its not possible the alignment caused this. He tried to say that im just trying to get free parts and if I say that and that they didnt damage it that he would do it. I was outraged and said im not looking for money or anythijg free I want what your improper workmanship caused damage to repaired properly and nothing more. read more

If you need a legit alignment shop, these guys are the specialist. After going to 3 alignment shops, I came here. They didn't try to hustle me or charge me more because I had coilovers. Old school alignment for a fair price. Plus their alignment rack is sunken into the ground, so if you got a slammed car you can drive right on the rack without having to remove your bumper. Some alignment racks are so high up you need a 4x4 to drive up on them. Then they complain and have to get all nasty with you and refuse your business, because their alignment racks are junk. Don't deal with those folks. Come here and avoid the drama. read more

I was referred to this place from my mechanic and I was ripped off. The mechanics there were honest and awesome but the owner Zed is a different story. The mechanic told me that there was a lose part in my drum and he removed it. Then he checked my brakes and he gave me the thumbs up. The owner Zed then came up to me and said the mechanic replaced a spring and adjusted my brakes and it would cost $50.00. I was there the entire time and saw what they did. They did not adjust anything, no spring was replaced and after Zed saw the expression on my face he reduced it to $40 for 20 minutes of work. Took One tire off and removed a lose piece, checked my other brakes and greased something in the front. Zed over charged me and lied about the repairs that were done. I would stay away from this place and I've told my mechanic not to refer anyone there again. read more

It's ok, not the best/friendliest customer service. But, mainly it's no-nonsense, fix your alignment for cheap and quick. They weren't taking credit cards at all because their reader was broken, which they didn't tell me until it was time to pay, so that would've been aggravating if I didn't happen to have enough cash on me. read more

I have been going to this place for 10 years now and I am extremely pleased with everything. I have taken all of my cars here for tire replacements and alignments. (BMW, Subaru, VW) I am not sure why people complain about the pricing, I just simply ask approximately how much it's going to cost before they repair, if I am not satisfied with the price I won't have them do the work. I had Z replace the entire suspension on my e30 (shocks, struts, control arms, trailing arm, bushings, sway bars, etc) and everything runs great and car looks amazing. Thank you Z! read more

This is not a place I recommend, brought my car for simple front wheel alignment after I had 4 new tires installed. Drove out and the car was pulling towards the right so I went back. It seemed better but not perfect but since the owner bragged about his many years of experience and assured it'll get better I went home the next day not better but worst so I had to drive all the way back and they started banging with a hammer , still bragging about knowing what he was doing. Basically I left after it felt barely and 2 month later my tire on the front driver Sidel was worn out on the inside. This is one of those mechanic that promises to be the best and delivers nothing but trouble, and is far from inexpensive!!! read more

I would rate this - 435 stars if I could, because it cost me $435 to repair the damage that they caused on my car. After performing a brake job on my vehicle last week, they neglected to include the hub centric rings on my wheels when they put them back on. This caused a nearly uncontrollable shimmy between 60 - 80mph in my car, which caused two tires to go, and damaged my rim. A word to the wise, you get what you pay for. Never again will I go here and I will let everyone know what happened. read more

Not quite sure why this place got terrible reviews. I trusted them with my AMG and boy am I glad I did. Car runs like a dream now. Camber, caster, toe all up to factory spec. They will even test drive after and adjust accordingly. They certainly know what they are doing! read more
