So many beautiful ornaments that it was hard to choose just two. They came wonderfully packaged and delivered within the timeframe stated. They are true collector's items. I've started a collection for a little 2 year old friend and I hope to see her own beautiful Christmas tree someday! Or however she chooses to display them.

Husband and kiddo can't wait to take a class here. Service was friendly and patient, answering questions and giving us a demo. Glass straws that we brought for our family is pretty and being heavily used. Very colorful and beautiful items for sale.

Love this small, local business! First discovered them last year at a holiday festival at Cal Expo and was thrilled to learn that they are based in Orangevale. Joined their mailing list and followed them on Instagram right away. They did a special Black Friday weekend-long event at their home studio with deep discounts and live glass blowing demonstrations. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and informative -- and safe, requiring masks and limiting the amount of people allowed to stroll through their displays. Thank you! My husband and I checked it out on Saturday and bought a few pieces. Once I got home, I knew I had to go back the following day to get more of their beautiful pieces and to give them more support, which all small, local businesses need now more than ever. Now I have some new ornaments and decorative pumpkins for our home and gifts to share with loved ones. Talk about a win win!

I've been interested in taking a blown glass class for years now and after watching he Netflix completion about blown glass called, " Blown Away", I decided to search the internet for places that offered classes. I found 2B Glass and spoke with Aaron , one of the owners, and arranged a 3 hour private class with him this past October 2022. It was Amazing . The hotshot for one was very clean and organize. Aaron was such a Fantastic instructor very knowledgeable ,patient, and friendly! I loved all the pieces he taught and helped me make, they turned out so beautiful. Orangevale is 2 hours away from my home but I will definitely be back . The private lessons are so worth it!!!! Thank you Aaron for such an unforgettable experience!

We bought classes for the kids for Christmas, and that is the first of many times we will be back. We were in and out in almost an hour, incredible instruction, and beautiful bowls to pick up soon! This is such a fun experience with something beautiful to take home from it. We highly reccomend!

Love love love the pumpkin I got today! She's mauvey and moody and I didn't even go to the glass pumpkin patch thinking I'd buy anything!

Had lots of fun. Went there with my family and each of us were able to make our own item. The owners / instructors were very informative and patient in showing us how to make our projects. Looking forward to doing this again.

The demo was absolutely amazing and informative. You can take a class which is actually hands on, people presenting very knowledgeable.

I believe they cap the class at eight so that you truly get the attention and detail in training that you deserve. Our instructors, Rene and Lauren, were phenomenal. They were funny and relatable and made the entire experience extremely enjoyable. After going over the basics of safety and glass blowing, we went one by one and received individual attention to make our glass masterpieces. We were given the choice of making either a paperweight, a drinking glass, a bowl, or a vase. We were allowed to pick any color of glass that we wished, and I appreciated the insight provided by the instructors as to which colors would go together well. I ended up making a beautiful vase with a translucent jade color with pops of white. My husband made a drinking glass in green and gold. From start to finish it was an incredible experience and something I would definitely enjoy doing again. So if you're looking for something fun to do in Sacramento while supporting a small local business and the arts, I would highly, highly recommend checking out Sacramento Art Glass.

Virtually everyone I met during the 2+ years I was a member was encouraging and supportive of creative work and process. The Forge also has basic equipment for a very wide range of creative expression. The equipment capacities are designed for entry-level folks. If you want to learn welding, or glass blowing or industrial sewing, this is a great place. Sadly, if you want to grow your skills, this may not be the right place. One of the owners manages what you can and cannot do in the making space. He treats this as his private home with cool toys to which you as a member have been granted admission by your monthly payment. If he doesn't like or want you to play with his toys, you are SOL. Longtime "studio guides" implement the owner's wishes, regardless of what is in the best interest of members. That owner refused to give me access to a fairly simple piece of equipment for over a year. The rationale provided over the course of a year and more never held water. During that time I paid over $1000 in membership fees without ever being granted approval to use the specific equipment, despite the fact that other people had regular access to it. I was not treated as a client, I was treated as a supplicant..and I found that untenable. This is not a "professionally managed space" and you would be happier elsewhere as the owner described it to me in an email when I was "invited to leave." You will be happy if the current provisions meet your needs. If you need any upgrades, fixes, adaptations...forget it. This place is managed on such a tiny margin that there is zero room for improvement.

BETTER THAN PORN!…read more My Husband was surprising me with some mysterious activity in Sacramento for my Birthday on April 2nd (a Tues) and upon getting into the car we had the following conversation: Him: So now that we are on our way i guess i can tell you what we are doing. We will be indoors with a lot of bright lights, so it's good that you did your makeup, and look nice. Me: Very puzzled expression. Him: Do you remember that move, "Zach and Miri Make a Porno" and how at the end their business is helping couples create their own studio-quality sex tapes? Me: Yeaaaaah... Him: Well i thought it would be nice, you know to do that, and its a really nice place with only women on set... Me: WTF?! You're kidding, we are absolutely not doing that! No, you're joking...and if you're not you better turn this car around! And he kept acting like this was legitimately his surprise for a another minute and was doing a really convincing job of pretending that he was for real, and thus my anxiety/anger level was increasing until he finally laughs and says, no we are going to a glass blowing class. Oh the relief! Obviously i was a bit mad at the deception but had to laugh at his uncanny ability to say all of that to me with a straight face. Anyways, the ladies of Girl Glass thought this story was hilarious and really wanted to have it said on yelp that this experience was better than porn, and it was! I do know that they made a special exception via emails and phone calls back and forth between them and my husband to arrange this private class for us because it was not a normal day that they would have done it. They even allowed us to go to their house, and we did it in their backyard, just the two of us. My husband and I each made ornaments, and it was a really unique and fun experience that I totally recommend to anyone with any interest in the art of glass blowing. Its mind boggling what they can do and how it works and also very hot!!! Long sleeves highly recommended! They do a demo, and then they guide you through choosing your colors and then actually doing it yourself/assisting in the creation of your very own masterpiece. You don't get to take it home right away but they have various arrangements for getting it once it is ready. Another sweet touch: they had asked my hubby ahead of time if i liked vanilla or chocolate, to which he told them chocolate and then after our ornaments were made they brought out two delicious chocolate cupcakes from a local bakery in honor of my birthday! It was above and beyond to even get them but they were to-die-for good too!!! And so, to the ladies of Girl Glass: I give you five stars and I say thank you for a wonderful memory. I can't wait to see our finished ornaments!
