Yo, I'm hooked!! I've been introduced to this world and now I can't get enough. Saw the signs about ornaments on the side of the road a bunch of times and decided it was time for a visit. First things first. Lone is the best dog a glass shop owner could ever find. I love him so deeply and we just met. Love the pooch so much!! Okay, glass. This is such a wonderful setup and they have so many amazing items on display. I mean, if I were buying a house and needed to stock up on glassware, I'd be here lickety-split to buy everything!!!! They are so cool to pull back the curtains and give us a look inside to see how the sausage is made, so to speak. We walked in, sat down, and before we knew it, dude was blowing glass and making an ornament!! It was the opposite of what I saw on Netflix! He wasn't sweating over the fire and stooping down to blow air into the glass. He made it look fun and easy, but we all know it's not easy at all!!! Coolest experience! We were so amazed by all of the beautiful work that is created there. When I saw they were offering classes I couldn't resist. Aaron, had patients of a saint and was super friendly. We are all beginners, and were very intimated before starting the process. Aaron took his time and explained everything. He did a demonstration first and then walked each of us thru the process of our different choices. All of the pieces we did turned out way better than I thought. Love this small, local business! First discovered them last year at a holiday festival at Cal Expo and was thrilled to learn that they are based in Orangevale. Joined their mailing list and followed them on Instagram right away. They did a special Black Friday weekend-long event at their home studio with deep discounts and live glass blowing demonstrations. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and informative -- and safe, requiring masks and limiting the amount of people allowed to stroll through their displays. Thank you! My husband and I checked it out on Saturday and bought a few pieces. Once I got home, I knew I had to go back the following day to get more of their beautiful pieces and to give them more support, which all small, local businesses need now more than ever. Now I have some new ornaments and decorative pumpkins for our home and gifts to share with loved ones. Talk about a win win! read more

The demo was absolutely amazing and informative. You can take a class which is actually hands on, people presenting very knowledgeable.

I've been interested in taking a blown glass class for years now and after watching he Netflix completion about blown glass called, " Blown Away", I decided to search the internet for places that offered classes. I found 2B Glass and spoke with Aaron , one of the owners, and arranged a 3 hour private class with him this past October 2022. It was Amazing . The hotshot for one was very clean and organize. Aaron was such a Fantastic instructor very knowledgeable ,patient, and friendly! I loved all the pieces he taught and helped me make, they turned out so beautiful. Orangevale is 2 hours away from my home but I will definitely be back . The private lessons are so worth it!!!! Thank you Aaron for such an unforgettable experience! read more

I found these guys through a glass pumpkin show they did. I couldn't make it to the show but I have purchased from them and their work is top-notch. I ordered a pumpkin and it is beautiful, it was packaged great, nothing was damaged in transit. They also had a holiday show at their house/glass studio where they had all of their work and were also giving glass blowing demonstrations. I purchased two olive oil/dish soap dispensers as gifts and they are gorgeous. These are high quality pieces that you can tell they put their heart into. I recommend signing up for their newsletter to see where they'll be next, I don't believe their in home studio is open except for special events. You can check out their site to order from there or if you're on the list see where their next in-person pop up is. Also follow them on IG, they post pretty often @2bglass. COVID Update: when they had a pop up at their home studio it was mostly outdoors, there was one room that had product in it but the doors were open and everyone wore masks and asked all customers to wear masks as well. We bought classes for the kids for Christmas, and that is the first of many times we will be back. We were in and out in almost an hour, incredible instruction, and beautiful bowls to pick up soon! We had SOO much fun! I cannot recommend this more! GO DO IT! Tate, our instructor, was fantastic! The level of help was adjusted to our individual needs. Three "blowers" to one teacher was perfect, I wouldn't go to much more unless you do the same project. One did a "Sucky Bowl", one a drinking glass, and another did ornaments, so we experienced each thing. We chose colors, and items. We smiled (and concentrated) the full time and came out with lovely projects that we adore! read more
