He was knowledgeable, patient, supportive, personable, and reasonable. He was absolutely stellar during both the negotiation process and the closing process. Samantha, who did the walk through the day of my delivery was also awesome, sweet and thorough. I was running 2 hours late (out of my control) and she was flexible and kind about it, showing me nothing but smiles and grace! She even set my puppy and I up to stay the night in their lot, since my drive that night was going to be 4 hours and I was exhausted. Safety first with this bunch! Ryan, who not only perfectly installed my weight distribution hitch (with several roadblocks due to my negligence with a trailer hitch key AND my tardiness) but also went above and beyond with sharing his personal RV experiences/tips/tricks. His technical expertise was comprehensive and meticulous. He was also SO loving to my puppy, who I had to bring with me that day...making sure she stayed cool in my truck. Even when he was finished with the job, he brought her water and love while I was inside with finance. He walked me through my entire list of questions that I had the next day, still tweaking a few things to make sure my rig was perfection and that I understood every nuance. Now that is incredible customer service! I also want to through props to Tom! While on site, I had some mechanical issues with my new truck (which was my tow vehicle). He went out of his way to make sure that my vehicle was safe to drive home, as well as taking his precious time (it was past closing time) to educate me on the problem, how to remedy it, and how to discuss it with my mechanic who sold it to me...making sure I understood their liability and how to approach the situation to be successful. GRATEFUL! This is a long review because I am still feeling SO much gratitude for my experience with General RV in Winter Garden. I am writing this review regarding Blue Compass RV in ORLANDO's excessive and unjustified retention of our RV, which resulted in substantial and unnecessary out-of-pocket lodging expenses. Blue Compass RV retained possession of our RV for a total of 105 days, during which they repeatedly failed to provide accurate timelines or meaningful progress updates. Communication throughout this period was inconsistent and inadequate. I received written communication from the service manager, Ashlyn, explicitly acknowledging that the prolonged delay was due to staffing shortages and that ongoing communication failures regarding timelines and expectations were the dealership's responsibility, not ours. According to the dealership's own service records, the total documented labor time across all jobs was approximately 6 hours and 35 minutes, and even the documented work was incomplete. Given the minimal and unresolved nature of the work performed, retaining our RV for 105 days is completely unjustified. Because our RV is our current residence, we were forced to secure alternative lodging for ourselves and our dog during the time the dealership retained the unit, which they were aware and completely inconsiderate of. We chose inexpensive, conservative lodging locations to keep cost low. These lodging expenses totaled $9,049.84, which I shared with them as proof. Additionally, we were informed that Blue Compass RV would cover approximately $8,000 in lodging expenses due to the prolonged delay. However, when we were later sent an agreement to sign, it reflected only $5,500 and included overbroad release language extending beyond lodging reimbursement and requiring waiver of unrelated rights. This was inconsistent with what had been represented to us and was not acceptable. I'm asking for a full reimbursement of our lodging expenses with either no agreement signed or an agreement that reflects only what the reimbursement is for: lodging expenses only. I want to add that not only did it take 105 days for us to get our RV back, when they only worked on the RV for 6 1/2 hours according to their own paperwork, but when we received our RV back, not only was hardly anything fixed, but there was more damage and extremely horrible workmanship. I recommend finding an independent RV tech with good ratings and I would never go to blue compass to purchase an RV or for any repair work. The entire experience was absolutely horrible.

I asked very detailed and specific questions regarding final out the door, price terms and interest rate. He only responded with the out the door price of the RV so I didn't respond. Then I started receiving text messages from Devon asking if I wanted to move forward. Again, I said I needed to know the terms so I could decide how I wanted to finance it. Devon only quoted me a monthly payment of $329-$359. I didn't respond. Again, I was asked if I wanted to move forward with the purchase. So again, I asked what is the interest rate in term? Devon responds with 8.9% for 180 months.!!! I respond with the figures and that none of that math adds up. Then this morning the sales manager James Spallino starts interjecting in the text thread and is extremely rude. Calling me out like he's smarter than me talking about something totally different. Very unprofessional and totally uncalled for. There are thousands upon thousands of RVs for sale. You would think as a sales manager, the goal would be to get one sold. Instead of trying to be little or intimidate somebody into buying, his role should be high-level customer service with the ability to understand and communicate financing options and negotiate the best deal for the customer. We googled rv places close by and found these guys. They're a locally owned business that offers both for purchase and rentable options. We opted for the coachmen leprechaun rv that slept 5 of us very comfortably. The process was smooth, educational and comparably priced to others out there. The rv was clean, in good condition and ready to go. Pick up takes about 30 minutes due to instructions and ensuring all rules are known. The drop off took 1 min. Park, drop the keys and go. We bought a massive used Solitude DL391. We know nothing about RV'ing and so we were really green…read moreduring our walkthrough. Almost every single aspect of the sale went well. We had to fight hard to get what we wanted but for the most part we left satisfied. During the walkthrough we knew nothing about the lights and the graphs and the meters showing what was on, what was running and what the current levels were. We initially saw the RV a month before we bought it. There was damage on it after our initial viewing so they needed another 2 weeks to repair it. I am not sure how long they had it before we first looked at it but we didn't pick it up for at least 6 weeks after we first saw it and loved it. With all that being said, we found out after we brought it home and learned a lil about the thing that those graphs on the wall. Those were the levels in the tanks. The black tank was FULL. 53 gallons full. Full with someone else's feces in it and for how long? At least 6 weeks since we had first seen the thing. Then there was the gray tank. That's where the shower and sinks drain. It was 2/3rds full. At least 40 gallons. Not as gross as the tank full of someone else's crap but shouldn't have been 2/3rd's full. Then there's the fresh tank. It was 2/3rds full of around 60 gallons of stagnant water that had been sitting in there for who knows how long. After I bought all the equipment and gained all the knowledge I spent 4 hours today flushing these tanks out and their vile content. I have to do a siphon treatment to feed some bleach mixture into the fresh water tank so that I can kill any bacteria that grew in there. I will go to a dump station. Fill it with water and bleach. Park it back at storage and then 12 hours later go back to the dump station so I can get all the germs and stuff out. I will run the faucets to get my bleach solution into the gray tank and then dump the gray tank and the fresh water tank to empty so I know all the bacteria is gone. We truly don't understand who would sell an RV and not clean it out. They said they inspected it? Really? How well if you missed the tanks. My review would have been 5 stars but it's hard to get past someone else's crap in my newly purchased used RV.

Also the " financial scam officer" snuck in additional "protection charges. We never asked for that and had a 3 hour trip back to make sure it was removed. I'm 75 and I can say I've never had such a rip- off experience in my life. STAY AWAY!!!!!!
