With so many positive reviews, how could we go wrong? They set us up in the cutest little private cottage and we're so sweet. Unfortunately that's where the charm begins and ends. We got five different wines to try. The bubbly was good but the rest were awful. No one in our group of ten found them even remotely drinkable. The one red was so acidic, my friend was up until 4:00am with an upset stomach from the acid burn. It's incredibly disappointing how bad the wines are given how cute the space is and how friendly the staff is. We went back to our Airbnb and opened our own bottles afterwards to cleanse our palattes.

I'm sad it took me this long to get out here but enabled us to come on a day when only one other party was enjoying their outside area! A rare, beautiful 80 degree sunny day in July, nice music and a nice breeze make for a perfect wine sipping environment! The employees were both so incredibly nice and welcoming. We split their featured flight and there was not a single wine I didn't enjoy! Will be leaving here with a bottle or two and probably be returning very soon!

I think he is one of the best home brewers I've tried yet. There is no funny after taste to his beers. He started making his own alcohol and is just waiting for the all ducks to get in a row so he can sell it. He did make his own white and red wines and I have to say his White wine rates up there as one of the BEST Chardonnays I have EVER had- he somehow got the best of oak and steel barrels in this formula. Otherwise they sell some Rapidan Winery wines; good product, but, if its' not his, I'll stick with my Commissar and Toasted Marshmallow syrup. That's the other thing... who ever would have thought to add flavored syrups to brews!!!?? Genius. His ciders are also really great too. the Aloha is the best one. As for the food, its light fare, but man is it awesome. Amanda, Brad's wife and her mom kick out the best Pimento Cheese dip around! They also started doing charcuterie boards and have crafted some very creative ones at that. The ambiance is one a Vet can appreciate. It is a small building, but there is lots of land and outside seating as well. There is a fire pit and they have lawn games people can play while there. Dogs are welcome! And often they will do a Pup of the week and post it on their FB page. We love supporting Brad and Amanda and recommend it as the go to craft brewery when you come to the area. They work their butts off and often get help from Amanda's parents and their kids.

My wife and I both enjoyed flights of wine and followed them with a glass of our favorites. The flights are served nicely and every pour is in its own glass, no reusing or cheap plastic cups here. Service was great with very nice staff. It was a peaceful outdoor experience and we really enjoyed just sitting and relaxing. I would absolutely come back!

You really get to enjoy an immersive, interactive experience on the farm. There is something for everyone, from interactive gardens and live animals. The best for a cute little DIY wine tasting. They have tasting room called the Purple Wolf Vineyard where you can purchase your portable tastings, wine, beer and slushy flights .
