I saw they had good reviews and relatively good rates so I decided to call them in order to schedule an evaluation/repair. The man, named Eric, answered quickly in what sounded like his motorcycle or loud car. I ignored his ill and informal manner of speaking and explained my situation. He said he'd arrive in a couple of hours. I waited. He hadn't arrived. After giving him what felt like hours after our scheduled meeting time, I decided to call him to see where he was. It's honestly sick I had to do this because they're supposed to be a business, not just one poor time-management-having man. So I called him and explained to him how late he was and how I was extremely unimpressed by his irresponsibility. He replied "Alright. I'll be there. I forgot." I replied "Ok arrive by 6 I have to be at a meeting at 7." He then replied "Oh and by the way, I am going to have to charge you extra for being late". I WAS FURIOUS. How could he charge me extra for tardiness when it was by his own incentive that he was going to be late?! I overlooked this and waited for him to come and fix the faucet, as the faucet was driving me insane. When he arrived, he knocked on my door like an animal and shouted "PLUMBER!". I was in shock. There was no explanation that was running through my mind for his blatant insolence. I opened the door, showed him where the faucet was, he took his tools out and fixed it, and we said our goodbyes. When I walked into the bathroom after he left (and locked the front door) I was assaulted with the gnarly visual of an entire feces excrement in my toilet. He didn't even have the dignity to flush. Being at the end of my patience, I was relieved that the whole situation had come to an end until a couple days later, the faucet started leaking again. Despite my own tremendous anger & repulsion, I dialed this man's number with the intention of having him come over to fix the faucet (right this time), until I realized that he had BLOCKED MY NUMBER. I am never, EVER going to be calling this sorry excuse for a plumber nor will I ever recommend him to someone I even mildly admire. I suggest everyone who's read this review to do the same. Unacceptable.

This business is located in Brooklyn and willing to travel outside of Brooklyn for a plumbing job. After viewing and explaining the problem of a continuous leak under the bathroom sink causing the cabinet to rot and the faucet also leaks excessive water the plumbing parts was changed from plastic to solid metal and a new faucet replaced. The job was done correctly and finally, no more annoying continuous leaks. They also physically shown the parts removed that caused the leak and what type of material the previous contractors used vs. Hirsch Plumbing's replacement parts for longevity and durability. The two plumbers stated they are unionized licensed plumbers and must accept the job regardless the level of difficulty. As a current member of a international labor union, myself, I fully understand the benefits as it band workers together. We had previously contacted a local Queens licensed residential plumber who blatantly refused the job and advised my family to apply caulking around the faucet which obviously did not work. We believed they refused the job due to either laziness, willfully refuse to be agile to remove replace damaged pipes and plumbing parts under the bathroom sink. However, Hirsh Plumbing is, surely, not afraid to be agile leading to publicly display the plumber's crack. Price is steep but you get what you paid for.

Had a major blockage in our single bathroom/bathtub. We were so nervous to need to call an outside plumber during this difficult time. We called Ariel services and they arrived within an hour.
