If you're scrolling through these reviews in hopes for an answer to "should I get my hair done…read morehere?", look no further. Take my review as your answer. The answer is YES, YOU SHOULD! My hair was in desperate need of a cut and color. It was long, drier than the Sahara, three different types of brown and overall a hot mess. I was desperate for someone, anyone, to save me from the nightmare that my hair had become. My prayers were answered from the hair gods in the form of the lovely and talented Michelle. She is absolutely PHENOMENAL! Her passion for hair shows in the quality of her work. Not only is she sweet and friendly but professional with outstanding attention to detail. She takes the time to listen to your hair dreams and makes them as much of a reality as possible. She's brutally honest, so if your hair isn't capable of achieving a certain color she is quick to tell you, and even quicker to offer beautiful suggestions that will NOT DISAPPOINT. She even pointed out a bald spot near my ear that I did not even know existed and advised me to look out for it in case it needed medical attention. How many other stylists have seen my hair over the years and have failed to mention that to me?! That alone shows that she truly cares for each customer and their happiness. I came to her with the dream of having a lovely blonde balayage and left with exactly that. She even hooked me up with a free hair cut and deep conditioning treatment that left my hair as soft as a fluffy cloud. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. And I'll definitely be returning for all of my hair needs!!

She did a great job keeping the length, which I appreciated. My only complaint with my daughter's haircut is that it was cut crooked. When it came to my hair, unfortunately, this is the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to my hair and usually don't get upset over a haircut, but this is honestly insane. My hair was down to my butt. I specifically asked for it to be cut to my shoulder blades with long layers. My hair is now at my chin with extremely short, choppy layers that don't flow or blend at all. And honestly, the length isn't even my biggest problem. Fine, short hair can be cute. I could have gotten over it being way shorter than I asked for. But who layers hair like this? The layers are so short, uneven and choppy that I can't even put my hair up in a bun without pieces falling out everywhere. I have to pin my hair back just to keep it up. I didn't complain while I was at the salon because I honestly feel embarrassed and uncomfortable doing that. I kept hoping that after washing and styling it myself a few times, I would feel differently. It's now been a couple of weeks, and I'm still pissed. Hair grows back. I get that. But there is no styling my way around layers that were cut this poorly. I'm extremely disappointed.

I mentioned to her she was being rough and tried to be gentle but ended back with the same tension and breaking my Hair all the way from my roots .. I'm ver sad also she used absolutely no hair products for after wash like I know All hair stylist that do and definitely at some type of heat protection in your hair well NOT HERE ' I was completely sadden because of how nice the salon was but the service was bad very bad for a first timer ... look like she was having a bad and that sucks why work and look like that!! I had a headache for a while after leaving there no joke was pretty sad knowing how much good stuff I heard from that salon but not that stylist !! Me personally coming from good hair stylist im Vegas all the salons I've been too are very sweet gentle try to have a conversation with you and she was just like upset had mad face' also every salons uses hair products on a customers hair for brushing out or blowouts or some heat protection but her nothing did she use. But at the end after curling my hair for waves only added hair spray for the waves... so whatever i just wanted to pay for my hair cut and leave so I did and will not be coming back again sad to say ... and I love a nice hair trip at the salon we all women do . Poor girl! I did message back the salon page wher I was told it's 65 for a women's hair cut for wash n style and haven't got no reply ... the poor girl definitely have bad service. Thank you Nikki and Joe for working on me for 5-6 hours to get this done. Honestly, I almost feel bad because Nikki would explain to me the process in detail and I would be clueless and just nodding my head since this was my first time and I got no clue about being blonde along with the technical terms included in the process of doing it. She knew this and changed her way of explaining so that I could understand it better. Haha. Things I learned was 1 close my eyes when they're rinsing off the bleach, 2 also close my eyes when I'm on the dryer with the bleach and 3 take all the stretch breaks that's offered. There's always a first time for everyone. The results were amazing!! I was nervous, scared and excited because it was a big change but also I didn't know if the color was gonna match me. She assured me that it would look great and it takes a lot to say something like that because that just meant that she knew what she was doing and it was true. Experience was great! She also fixed my chunky haircut and made it more streamlined which ultimately shaped it up to look amazing. We also did a trial run of curls to see how long it would hold if I decided to get it done a day before my nurse graduation this month. Not to mention they're so eager to help out with your progress shots too. Thank you so much!! Will definitely be back in the future. :)

Extremely Disappointed - Unprofessional and Rude Behavior…read more I truly thought I had found the perfect hairstylist after seeing Michelle's work online--it looked great, and I felt confident trusting her to help me find a look that suited me. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I came prepared with a few inspiration photos and expected a collaborative conversation, especially since she claimed to help clients find the right style. Instead, Michelle was incredibly rude and dismissive. She told me she "deals with people like me all the time" and said she felt unsafe--simply because I asked a few questions. She spoke down to me, saying she didn't have time to "educate" me, even though I thought that was part of her job as a professional stylist. She labeled my questions as a "consultation" and implied I was wasting her time, despite me trying to be respectful and clear about needing help. I left feeling shocked, disrespected, and honestly hurt. I felt like she had no intention of helping--just collecting an $80 deposit before treating me poorly. This was a deeply upsetting experience. I would not recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a stylist who is patient, kind, or professional.

No Offense to the owner but this review is about Michelle Zabatta. She was recommended by a friend…read morebecause I was looking for a change in extensions from Weft to something less heavy. So I found Locket Extensions. During our consultation since super nice and sweet. The day of the install came and I loved the way my hair looked at the salon. Once I got home I noticed the top of my head was much fuller than the bottom and asked her if she could move some around. She said fine and scheduled an appt. She cancelled on my 3 times claiming she was having mental health issues. I told her I completely understood. I wanted to fix my hair before my trip to Hawaii. She finally fixed it. When it came time for my first MOVE UP I sat in her chair and as she started going THRU MY HAIR. After a couple of rows she began to complain that I wasn't take care of my extensions. She was like these are so bad that this isn't a MOVE UP this is a complete install. I was like what are you talking about. She then went to blame me for ruining my hair on my vacation. She said" I saw your photos you were all in the water wetting your hair". I was first of all I always avoid wetting my hair in pools or beaches as much as I can. And second of all if I wanted to wet my hair I could. Wetting your hair shouldn't affect the placement. I've been wearing extensions for many years longer than she had been installing extensions. So I know how to take care of them and how to take care of my investment because extensions are not cheap. Besides I go on a lot of vacations and never had a problem with my hair. The way Michelle went of on my that day was on called for. I was completely confused. She talked to my a child I front of the other stylist and their clients. As she did my move up she was doing hard and hurting my head because she was pulling on it. Like I said I have been extensions for years at TEN TEN salon on Wiltshire. So I know it should hurt this much. I asked her please be more gentle. She went on to blame like me. u didn't take care of your hair. She was being aggressive and just simply rude. I felt like I was I. high school. I wish maybe the owner would have stepped in and told her she was being out of line. I was embarrassed and humiliated. I paid for the move up and didn't stay for my root touch up. The whole time she was bitching at me I was already texting a friend to do my roots because there was no way I was allowing her do any more services on me. I paid for the move up and left About 8 hours later she begins sending messages like you only paid for a move up. What I did was a complete install. You either pay me or I'm reporting you to the Sheriffs. I found someone in Los Alamitos. Little did I know she was the founder of Locket Extension. She was so professional . She was appalled at my install. She called her hair stylist over to come and see my extensions. The pics I'm sharing are the ones she took. She told me this install was completely wrong. Click and zoom in on the pictures. About 2 months later I see Michelle at Target San Pedro. And of course causing some drama with poor lil young cashier. She made a whole scene in front of Target called his manger in front of everyone. She was so loud and arrogant. I guess that's just the way she is. Someone in line even told her to stop already and that she was I the wrong and not the cashier. If you love drama then I recommend Michelle Zabata
