Carlos Amador came by to check on removing 2 floor tiles so that Home Depot could install my new dishwasher. Several companies wanted a lot of money for this job, but Carlos' charge to cut the tile and replace it later, after the new dishwasher was installed, was very reasonable. Even though Home Depot, with a 3-man team, failed to be able to drag out the old dishwasher (over a tiny 3/8" high piece of tile), Carlos instantly saw how it could be done. He pulled the old dishwasher out of its compartment as if it were a toy, without having to cut any tile at all, and carried it by himself to our back yard for the Home Depot installers to recycle after they finally install my new dishwasher. Very impressive work by Carlos. read more

After a hilarious and somewhat traumatizing accident, we ended up with a small hole in our wall that needed to be patched up. Carlos responded to my Yelp request within a few hours and was able to come next day. He came on time, worked efficiently, and overall was very professional. I really appreciated that he wore booties in our home and he even touched up some additional small spots for us. He did a great job and everything looks like new! read more

Absolutely love this guy! I called early in the morning on a emergency broken wall and he gave me a time... and still came earlier than that! 100% support this guy and his efficiency. Very nice, practiced covid safety, and cleaned up after himself! Left our wall looking brand new!! No paint needed cause it matched. read more

Carlos responded within an hour of my Yelp quote request, and finished the job by the end of the day!!! I was sooooo happy! He hid all the cords!!! His work was top notch! His stucco work was impeccable! Everything works perfectly and looks better than ever! Carlos provided professional service, at a reasonable cost, with exceptional handiwork. We chatted a bit while he was working, and Carlos mentioned that his experience includes building homes from the ground up. I believe him. Since my TV was mounted over a fireplace, there were other quotes that refused to install the electrical outlet there, stating that I needed someone with higher qualifications. Carlos' expertise was quite evident today. I will be calling Carlos for any job - big or small. He definitely earned my trust and my business. WELL, I consulted Carlos again on another series of jobs, and he met and exceeded my expectations. Read on... Carlos' is a home building expert! We have an almost 40 year old home with cracked tile kitchen counters, scraped grey kitchen & bathroom sinks, and leaky vanity faucets. Carlos not only replaced all the sinks and faucets throughout our home, he expanded the kitchen breakfast nook, spray painted our front door, modernized our shower head, and repaired old plumbing under the sinks. But that's not all! He provided excellent service, recommending amazingly economical home improvement supply stores, accompanying me there to make selections, and transporting gorgeous granite slabs home to avoid paying high delivery fees (without adding any extra charges to his reasonable estimate). The outcome was absolutely beautiful! Carlos is not only an incredible builder, but a service oriented artisan, who truly can "build a home from the ground up." read more

Out of the 15 people we called, Carlos was one of the only people willing to assemble a giant play structure for our triplet boys in the backyard. When we opened the boxes we discovered that we were missing the instruction booklet. Carlos actually started building the structure by looking at the picture on the box as my wife ran off to print off the booklet!! When he put everything together he actually did the extra work to make sure it was level by cutting extra wood and placing it underneath the play structure. It looks amazing and our boys play on it every day. At the same time, we also needed to re-caulk our shower and he did a great job at this as well. Everything was very clean. Carlos doesn't have many reviews yet but I'm sure that will change. He's an excellent handyman, a hard worker and very resourceful. We'll definitely be using him in the future. read more

Contacted Carlos through Yelp for Drywall repair work. He may not respond the immediately but he responds! So you need to be patient with him. He came to check the work and gave very reasonable quote. I had contacted 3-4 people before him and all of them were quoting ridiculous high price for a straightforward work. With the quote, I realized that Carlos is a straight shooter and will not mess around. So I hired him to complete the work. He arrived on time and was very professional in the conduct. Wore shoe covers and covers all the area he was working on. He competed work on time and did it perfectly!! We have already signed him up for the next project. He is our go to handyman now! read more

We have had multiple jobs done by Carlos. He is a bit difficult to reach via yelp sometimes and because of projects but otherwise he does excellent work for reasonable prices. He doesn't cut corners - at one point during a conversion we found issues done by previous contractors and he fixed that even though it was beyond the scope of work originally agreed to. I highly recommend Carlos in all sorts of projects. He is now our go to whenever we have issues in the home and need someone with skills to fix stuff up read more

Had Carlos come do my bathroom tub to prep it for tiling. He was prepping the backer board, replace window, and tub piping. His rate was in line with other places I got quotes. From what I can tell so far he did a good job. He worked pretty quickly and knew what he was doing. Before I settled on choosing him I had him look at some leaks to see if he could fix them. I appreciated that he said he could fix it but it will happen again in a few months due to old pipes. read more

Horrible!!!! I was very happy to find a high reviewed handyman and called to schedule an appointment, he talks nicely and seems to be professional but he never showed up at the appointment. I patiently waited for 30 mins before I texted, and then I called two times, no one picked up the call so i texted again and again, and waited for 2.5 hours total, and gave up totally!!!!! Until now 3 days later, never called back to apologize or text back as a manner. I saw one review was the same issue but he called to apologized and changed the review afterwards. However, quite upset about that he (Carlos) totally wasted my time while I took a day off for this. This is extremely irresponsible and unprofessional behavior, people like this is NOT reliable for sure!!!! Watch out!!! read more

Very professional, quick response and was available the next day ! We hired him to install range hood . The job was done in 30 minutes. Highly Recommend . read more

I searched for a handyman to fix two brick planters, and a small brick wall that are part of the front of the house decor. Carlos responded very quickly and we set up a time for him to come by and provide a quote. He started the job a few days later, and was able to salvage, and reuse most of the bricks, and that saved me some money as well. He is very nice, quiet, and efficient. I can tell he is fine with being left alone while working, since I am like that when I workon cars :). Thank you Carlos for the awsome service. I did keep your contact info in my Cell phone since I don't feel like I am in need to serach for a different handyman. read more

I ordered a dreamline mirage x frameless shower door online for a great value but I had a really hard time finding someone who could install it. I called several handymen/shower door specialists and requested quotes and either they weren't available for several weeks to a month, didn't install shower doors, or charged more to install the door than what I paid for it. I actually had a scheduled appt through another handyman service this past Saturday and the person did not show. I desperately called around to more businesses and came across Carlos. He showed up Monday and finished in 3 hours. And for the lowest price quoted. Boom. Love my new shower door. Thanks! read more

Last week, our ceiling decided to leak all of a sudden. I contacted lots of handyman and plumbers. Carlos was the only one willing to come next day 10 am and provide a no obligation quote. He looked at everything carefully and provided a reasonable quote, and really stuck to it. Came back the next day and worked 6-7 hours and then painted wall and ceiling day after. Very neat and thorough, great professional to work with. Also took care of other minor things around the house. Highly recommended! read more

Carlos showed up on time to install a wall flow organizer in my garage. Installed it under 1 hour while everyone else told me it would be a couple hours. Gave him a tip for doing such a good job. Note: This review is not about his work quality as I never got a chance to assign him a project. It has been a frustrating experience. read more

Carlos is the best in Coustomer service & his workmanship came the very next day to install a microwave & gave out a reasonable price also.

Carlos did a great job with a small drywall project i had after a water leak. He was on time, prepped the area well. Matching the texture was my biggest worry talking to other folks who quoted me. Carlos used a spray technique for texture and matched it as good as I was hoping for. Most other quotes tasked the job for 2 days. Carlos was done in 6 hours. Thanks! read more

My water heater supply lines failed and flooded my garage! Arghhh!!!!! Aside from the clean up, I had no idea what to do next. I was hesitant to try one of the big box stores for the repairs, due to the upcoming weekend quickly approaching and my dire need for hot water. I never appreciated hot water until I found myself having to boil water to take a bucket bath... , but after reviewing 24 Plus Handyman's reviews, I decided to call. Carlos took my frantic call and eased my nerves when he agreed to come to my home and check my water heater. Carlos arrived at the time we agreed upon and quickly assessed the damage and items needed for the repair. Within an hour, Carlos had replaced my water heater lines and valve. I was so pleased to have hot water once again!!! Thank you Carlos for your fast and courteous service. I highly recommend his services and I will definitely contact him in the future. read more
