He explained all my options for Tinting and even gave my wife and I demonstration to show how the Xpel XR-Plus works and what sets it apart from the other Options. There is a true difference in the films being offered. Be mindful that you get what you pay for. I chose the Top Tier film for our car. I also chose to have them hand wash and wax the car. That was the best part. We thought we were doing a decent job keeping the paint looking good until we saw the final product. I am totally satisfied and impressed with their work. Look, if you think a business can tint your entire car for $250 don't go here. Go to Autozone, by the film and then drive to the ghetto to the Liquor store and ask the cashier which one of his "regulars" works on cars. Afterwards, I contacted Hot Tint in May 2022. They responded to me that day and told me to stop by the shop. I made an appointment for later that week. When I arrived, I asked them to install the unit and a backup camera. I can't recall how much time it took but it was done in a reasonable amount of time and I'm happy with their service. I called a few other shops around this time. A couple had other projects and couldn't get to me for a few months. A couple of others didn't want to touch the van because of its age, manufactured in 1989. Hot Tint was straight-forward. They said let them see what I have and they'll let me know if they could use what I had or needed something else. I appreciate that approach. I did have a couple of problems but they were responsive. While driving home, my radio rebooted twice. The cable came loose so they told me to return to the shop so that they could fix it. The second is my clock resets to 12:00 every time the vehicle is restarted. They told me to bring it by so that they can fix it but I haven't. I'm rarely on the screen to see the time and just had other priorities. I mention these items to show that they were responsive and willing to troubleshoot the problem. I rate them high also because there are many mechanics and technicians who can work on a classic vehicle but refuse to do so. There are a handful like Hot Tint that jumps right in and do the job. I'm finally ready to add an amp and subwoofer so I will be contacting them again soon.
