Here's a brief breakdown on what I've observed so far: Workouts: A mix of Boot-camp and Circuit-style HIIT workouts that focuses on strength, endurance, and skill building. Lenny even throws in a couple of CrossFit type workouts, but don't mistake this for a CrossFit gym! Workouts are never boring, and I appreciate how the style changes to keep things interesting and challenging. The programming of each exercise is well-thought-out and will be sure to help you get to your fitness and health goals. Nutrition: Lenny also works with you on nutrition and helping you stay accountable. When you first start, he'll sit you down to get an understanding of what you're looking to achieve, and he'll even help tailor your nutrition to align with your fitness goals.     I wanted to get back into the gym post-quarantine and I started looking for gyms around the area…read more I've tried Title Boxing, F45, and close to 15+ other places before choosing Pure Form because I walked in and had a gut feeling that this was exactly what I was looking for! I didn't feel pressured to join at all from my first call with Michael to inquire about the class schedule and when I finally came in, the atmosphere was perfect! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, I didn't want to leave! I've been going to Pure Form for about two months now. If you're looking for hands-on experience with coaches who emphasize good form and small, intimate group classes, this is the place. TRAINING: I've taken both Michael's and Jacklyn's classes - they both have different styles of encouragement and training but the daily workout itself is the same. The main driving point with Pure Form is that they are all about having good form and making sure you are safe from injury so that you only have to focus on pushing yourself through the 45-minute workouts. The normal training schedule is MW Strength, T/Thur Core/Cardio, Friday, Form (Seems like all out at the end of the week - Mondays are usually easiest!) - but the workouts do change every month! I also like that the workouts are fairly consistent for a whole month so you can learn the movements and improve on form/increase weights! FACILITY: The facility is large and spacious, there are TRX suspensions, medicine balls, sandbags, dumbbells, and resistance bands of varying sizes available. I've been able to grab the exact weights I want for every workout too, so they have plenty of options. The one thing that I would ding on is that you can only use the facility for training during the group classes at the moment, which are held hourly between 5-8 AM and 5-7 PM respectively! PRICE: If you visit their website for a free trial, you can see that they're pretty transparent on pricing, another plus in my book! They are pricey though. Yearly packages start at $1400 and monthly prices are around $119 (as of June 2021, this may be updated in the future obviously!). A single class is $15 and a 20 class pass is $250. (12.50) However, for this area, the pricing is very reasonable, most other gyms in Midtown and West Sac all range from $150-200 monthly and the quality of instruction here is excellent. Tips: They also do student and military discounts, just ask! Go for the free trial to see if you like the workout before you commit!

As a trainer he's committed to making sure you get the most out of your workouts. He's very attentive at correcting form, ensuring constant progress with new routines, and is patient and understanding. When I started there I was incredibly out of shape and could barely make it through the first day. Months later I have increased strength and stamina and although workouts are still challenging, my well-being has greatly improved. He can work with you one on one to help you meet your goals, and that includes identifying problem areas and how to modify your workouts to suit them. In my case we had to work around an injured muscle in my back and he had absolutely no issue accommodating this. For me, one on one workouts are a mix of HIIT and weights. He also has group fitness classes and he teaches boxing. He trains people of all ages. The gym is very clean and he's very good about sanitizing everything. It's a very positive environment and I'd encourage anyone to give this place a try! Update: Recently pre-cooked meals from Powered by Lex can be ordered online and picked up at this gym. There is a refrigerator inside where they are dropped off. The food is delicious, healthy, and each meal is portioned for one person. There is also a discount for members of the gym. I've tried more popular national meal services and they aren't nearly as flavorful or convenient as this local service. I'd highly recommend giving the meals a try if you decide to join the gym, especially if it's hard for you to manage healthy eating consistently.

You get to know all of the other members and everyone is motivating you to reach your goals. It's like family here. If you don't show up the Ben, Danette or Chris might check in on you with a text to see how you are doing and why you are not coming. I see this as a great thing!! Another unique thing about Keola Bodyworks is the trainers are able to work with you to make sure all your movements/lifts are correct. Secondly, they will tailor the workout to fit your goals and/or limitations. Do you have bad knees? No problem, Ben, Danette or Chris will assist you so that you are not missing your workouts because of an injury! Thirdly, Keola has an amazing massage therapist (Danette) who offers massage therapy and is amazing at working out those injuries. It's like a one-stop shop.
