Here's a brief breakdown on what I've observed so far: Workouts: A mix of Boot-camp and Circuit-style HIIT workouts that focuses on strength, endurance, and skill building. Lenny even throws in a couple of CrossFit type workouts, but don't mistake this for a CrossFit gym! Workouts are never boring, and I appreciate how the style changes to keep things interesting and challenging. The programming of each exercise is well-thought-out and will be sure to help you get to your fitness and health goals. Nutrition: Lenny also works with you on nutrition and helping you stay accountable. When you first start, he'll sit you down to get an understanding of what you're looking to achieve, and he'll even help tailor your nutrition to align with your fitness goals. Members: The members here at CaliRoots are very welcoming, down to earth, and dedicated individuals. So far, I have not met one person who wasn't motivating and friendly. Bonus: 2-3x a month they offer Yoga and Self-defense classes on Saturday's after the standard Boot-camp class. That was one of the most significant selling points for me because it's like getting two gym memberships in one! David helped me achieve my weight loss and fitness goals in that time, and lost 35 lbs. If you have New Year's goals to get in shape, he will be able to help you. David created workouts specifically targeted for my needs, and along with weight loss helped me gain strength and mobility in a "bad" shoulder. Meal plans were drawn up to fit my likes and dislikes and easily kept me on the path to eating healthily and not going over my daily calorie goal. As a person, David is very easy to get along with. He can joke around and keep things light or get down to business and help push you on that last set. He is a good trainer if you are a beginner to working out and fitness, more intermediate, or even a lifetime fitness pro. He can adjust to you. David is very professional, punctual for sessions (or will text you even if he'll just be two minutes late), and is a great communicator over text or email. Due to an injury I sustained I decided to pull out the crossfit lifestyle and take a break. I knew I wanted to take my training for the Spartan races to another level! After researching different gyms and trainers, I came across this young lady. Reading through her website I noticed a link she had for obstacle course training that she provides. As I scrolled further down her page and then... ta da!! She herself, has ran several Spartan races and has competed on American Ninja! Theirs nothing better than being trained by someone who has first hand knowledge of what you're trying to achieve. I was sold like someone selling me a churro at the Kings game! After reaching out to her she was very quick and timely in responding to my inquiry. Next thing I knew we had our first meet and greet set up. After meeting her, you can tell she's very passionate about what she does, and is very genuine and sweet. I am very happy to have joined the Shufit team! I'll be doing doing my workouts mostly on my own for awhile with a program she has created for me, but after meeting her and having her in my corner now, I know I'll be able dominate all my future races! Lack of connection with the trainer to my goals 3. Unclear or confusing pricing I decided to buy a New Years special to train with Anna based off of a recommendation of a trusted friend. Before I started training, Anna scheduled time to meet with me to begin the process of understanding my goals. During this intro meeting she outlined her style, pricing, and what she does as a trainer. It was very clear from that initial meeting that Anna was all about the training/fitness/outcome. Flash forward four month later and I'm beyond thrilled with my decision to train with her. In this short time I have gained strength, better balance, and a very strong foundation for future growth. During our training sessions we discuss form, technique, diet, and many other variables of a successful fitness regimen. I highly recommend that any person looking to change their level of fitness work with Anna to achieve their goals. In addition- it's pretty sweet to tell your friends that you're being trained by an "American Ninja Warrior"

She has a natural way of building confidence and pushing you just enough to make you feel proud of yourself every time you walk out. Her energy is motivating and uplifting, and it keeps me excited to come back. The front desk team deserves a huge shoutout too! Paola and Vincent are always so warm and friendly. Spring 2025 update~!…read more In 2024, I completed the Spring Dri-Tri (Sprint), Marathon Month (Half Challenge), and Hell Week! For some of the other challenges like All Out Mayhem or 12 Days of Fitness, I didn't do the entire week but definitely did at least one of the themed workouts. For certain ones like Transformation Challenge, slots/spots do tend to fill up quick, so pre-booking in advance is advised to secure yours. Also in 2024, outside of OTF Natomas I attended some classes at OTF Elk Grove, and even OTF Waikiki on my Hawaii summer vacation. Fun times. Coach Francis is gone, and Coach Mary is on maternity leave. Current full-time roster includes Coach Dan, Coach Dharam, Coach Keri, Coach Mary, and newest Coach Rachelle! Great playlists and coaches keep you accountable. I've personally completed 393 classes so far (all-time) and nearly to the 400 Club. That really says something about the staying power and motivation that Orangetheory gets me to keep coming back, great vibes and community. Run/Row/Rep but power walkers and joggers/runners all welcome, and there's also a bike or strider if you can't use the treadmill. Any modifications needed for the weight floor are also accommodated. I prefer the 3G Orange 60 classes or Tread 50s, but they also have 2Gs, Strength 50s, and 90-minute classes. Also new are the Recovery [Massage] Chairs, and Early Entry warmup free time at your station open-door policy about 5 minutes before class officially starts. Coach Rachelle also had a few running clinics and Orangetheory 101 sessions.
