I have been driving for over two decades and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had servicing a car. The unbelievable frustration we experienced dealing with Mustafa has compelled me to write my first Yelp Review. We brought our car in back in July to resolve a ticking sound coming from the front passenger side. After diagnostics, it was determined that the front right CV shaft needed to be replaced. He provided us with a quote and we agreed to get it fixed. After nearly 3 weeks, promises after promises, guarantees after guarantees, he tells us the car is ready to be picked up. Upon settling the bill and driving just two blocks away, it was apparent that something was undeniably wrong with the vehicle. The steering wheel would vibrate excessively and would not turn back on its own after making a turn. I bring the car back in immediately and reported the situation. By this time, it was end of day, he told me to bring it back the next morning and he will take a look. I stressed to him that I was unsure if it was safe to drive home. He "promised" me that it was safe. So... taking his word at face value, I decided to just bring it back the next morning. On the way home, the engine shuts off randomly while I was in the middle of the intersection waiting to make a left turn. The audacity for him to return our car in this condition is unacceptable. And then to suggest that it was like that when we brought it in is unbelievable. As if we never noticed it when we brought it in and he never noticed it while working on the car. I email Mustafa what happened when I got home and told him that I didn't feel safe driving the car back in its current state. He then agrees to personally come the next morning to bring the car back to his shop. Few days later, he says he fixed it free of charge, even though it was not his fault. All was well for a few weeks, until our car started acting up again. The engine would again show signs of stalling while in low rpm/idle. Having had such a terrible experience with Rasha, we decided to bring it to another place to get it diagnosed. They tell us that the front right CV shaft was damaged and was not fully seated. We then bring it back to Rasha and explain the situation, he then proceeds to passive aggressively explain to me that this job cost him more money than he made and would not take responsibility. This was the final straw. We have been very patient with Mustafa and given him every opportunity to rectify this situation. It is with regret that it has come to this, but we will be filing a complaint with the BBB and taking legal action.

Second I went to the office to complain, and the guy behind the counter lied and said "you never mentioned anything about falken tires on the phone" which I did mention on the phone. What's even worse is that he wasn't even wearing a mask. Do not ever come here to buy tires. They might give you the wrong brand and lie to you as well.

We contacted Sumas auto glass as they were on our way back to the states and I would rather get a chip fixed than have to get another windshield replaced. The folks at Sumas were friendly, knowledgeable, fast and fair. They let us know that they couldn't properly seal the chip due to size and depth and so they didn't charge us for the service. They also noticed a plastic piece on our car was loose and fastened it for us. If you are in the area and in need of service I highly recommend the fine folks at Sumas for your auto glass needs.

As my initial appointment was at another location, the staff at that location arranged my appointment at this place since it could be done on an earlier date. In the end, it didn't matter as the date had to be changed due to lack of manpower (covid-19 effect). Everything went well on day of appointment. Paperwork was done efficiently and at a safe distance. The windshield was replaced much faster than expected (1+ hours) instead of the 2-3 hours I was told. Thumbs up for that. It was done perfectly and the rain sensor on the windshield worked well too. One thing which could be done better was being given some suggestions on where I could go to cool my heels while waiting. This place is kinda away from any shops, plus restaurants or coffee places are closed due to covid-19. I asked as this was not my usual area and was not given any ideas. I can understand not wanting customers to wait inside the reception area, but maybe there could be a couple of chairs outside for customers to sit while waiting? Tip: In the end, I just walked along Lougheed and found my way to Solo District area (about 20-30 mins slow walk). At least there were people around there and outdoor benches to sit. I went prepared with a book and a bottle of water to wait.

The others turned out to be a sticker remnant and bird droppings. ICBC covers up to three repairs, so I couldn't help but wonder whether this framing was intentional. I was also told my deductible was unusually high and advised to lower it, despite already explaining my reasoning. It felt more like pressure than concern. At no point was I told whether the glass being installed was OEM or aftermarket, nor was I given a choice. When I followed up to request the ADAS calibration report, I was asked why I wanted it and was cut off while explaining. I was told the report wasn't required to be provided to me, and I only received a partial version. The change in tone from courteous to defensive was hard to miss. Additionally, the service report listed an odometer reading significantly lower than my actual mileage--by tens of thousands of kilometers. This might have been an error, but it raises questions about accuracy. This business is newly ICBC-certified, and it seems efficient on the surface. But if you're someone who asks detailed questions or expects clarity around safety systems and documentation, you may not receive the same level of responsiveness. If you're looking for storytelling, this place delivers. If you're looking for clarity, maybe look elsewhere.
