I love her bread! I first discovered her at an open market and was thrilled to find that she had a brick and mortar. She has great coffee and wonderful pastries. Her breads are made with sprouted flour, which is my favorite. Are usually buy two of my favorite loaves I have her slice it. I freeze some and the rest lasts in the refrigerator nicely. LOVE their bread!! I first tried them at a market. I think it was Piers Street market in Clearwater. Great people. Super friendly. Then one day I was on UberEATS looking for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw 20 Shekels on there! Of course I skimmed their menu and ordered something :) I got 2 breakfast bread. One was spinach and the other I can't exactly remember but I remembered it was DELISH! I was also super excited that they carried Tidal Boar ginger beer! I love them! So I was glad I could order that as well :) both bread were amazing and flavorful! I would definitely order again and possibly visit their location since they are not too far from me! read more

These 5 stars are no fluke. Every single baked item in this place is INCREDIBLE. The staff is super friendly. The bakery itself is adorable. I only wish that they had a few little bistro tables in there to sip my yummy coffee and munch on my yummy baked goods, while I enjoy the atmosphere. Try that chocolate quinoa cake! It is to die for and your kids will be begging for it... Let them have it! It's super healthy and packed with protein. This is definitely our new spot for bread. I hesitate to write a review because I really don't want people to find this and take all the delicious breads and pastries from me. But I want them to fare welll so I can keep enjoying the deliciousness of this place! go early and check the days and hours they are open. Amazing unique sweet and savory pastries made with seasonal fresh ingredients. the Brad aren't cheap but they are dance class a long time and are extremely healthy and delicious. Haven't found anything close to it in Tampa Bay. Put it this way, we found the bakery excellent 3 days after returning from Paris - - say no more! the coffee is good and made to order. and oh the cookies - - even the gluten free cookies are amazing and chewy. Their specialty is the Ezekiel bread - - dense but delicious test test love the one with pear and nuts. The muffins are to die for! Usually a muffin top is where its at - - but this mountain is amazing top to bottom. My wife and I don't even fight over the top because the rest of it is so good. read more

Worth the trip. I have moved in the past several months and have yet to find bread baker in San Francisco that can hold up to 20 Shekels. They have terrific options for both vegan and non-vegan customers. I would occasionally pick this up in the morning to share at work and always pick up some items if I had guests in town. The blackberry chocolate loaf is a must, and all minis are all worth trying. Great friendly service as well. Hopefully I will get the chance to visit again. read more

Best GLUTEN FREE bread in Florida!!!! It's made with almonds and almond flour, and the small loaf probably weights 3 pounds, it is made with wonderful fresh ingredients, nothing fake here. They will bake a loaf just for you if you call them the day before, and if you are lucky to get there early it will still be warm. I just visited this store this morning. First, customer service was top notch. Very informative, friendly and helpful. I have eaten the store bought frozen Ezekiel bread for a long time and although it's ok tasting and a good alternative for those that need to keep their carbs down, it's nothing to write home about. Well if you like the frozen store bought brand, you are going to ABSOLUTELY love 20 Shekels sprouted grain breads. FRESH! FRESH! FRESH! Had a few slices as soon as I got home and am 100% hooked. I love breads but can't have much because of health reasons, so THANK YOU 20 Shekels for bringing tasty bread back into my life! They also have 2 day free delivery on orders of $25+. That's a deal! Unlike the store bought Ezekiel brand that must be kept frozen, these FRESH made loaves can be kept in the fridge for 2 weeks. Is it obvious I am the newest fan of this bakery? My wife loves this stuff and always brings home different varieties of it from the Saturday morning market in ST. Petersburg near where we live. I myself eat VERY healthy and do not eat much bread other than sour dough. After a recent occurrence and the fact that after posting on their website and getting absolutely no response whatsoever...I would NEVER , EVER eat this bread or endorse anything that they make. I've also talked a number of my dear friends out of EVER eating or endorsing their products. The main issue I have is. After biting into a slice of their Ezekiel bread. I broke a tooth..ON BREAD! I couldn't believe it. One of their endorsers tried to attack me by saying that maybe I had bad teeth. WRONG!! I had literally JUST had a deep cleaning. And my dentist can attest to the fact. I finally made it to 20 Shekels Bread and really had no idea what I was in for at the time. I'd heard about sprouted grain flours but didn't know anything about the value of eating them, until I got educated at this bakery. Even though their hours are different than other bakeries ( closed Mon & Tues, open Wednesday thru Sunday 6 am-2pm), I will try to get there more often. All the items I bought were fresh, delicious and very filling and no carb crash after eating them either! Prices cannot be compared to other bakeries because of the use of wholesome, sprouted grains which are more expensive then regular flours. Give them a try and change the way you eat. So I recently visited this amazing bakery in Clearwater. The place is wonderfully decorated and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The owners mom happen to be working the front when I came to visit. She was very sweet and really informative when it came to choosing which yummy treat I wanted. All the breads are freshly baked. I visited 20 Shekels Bread after seeing all the positive reviews on Yelp. I gave them 4 stars based on price for product and the no-frills store. I am picky about bakeries as I have visited bakeries in places like San Francisco, New York City and Europe, where the competition is fierce. It smells wonderful when you walk in the door! I was impressed by the variety of breads and the ingredients. I was not as impressed by the size of the loaves for the price. I tried the sprouted, non-organic pear bread, which was very good. The bread is a 1 pound loaf for around $7.50. For comparison, I can get a one and 1/2 pound loaf of organic raisin and cinnamon sprouted bread at Whole Foods for around $6.00 and a similar price at Nature's Food Patch, a local, largely organic grocery store. The non-organic raisin bread at 20 Shekels Bread was also very good, but pricy. I am glad that we have such a tasty local resource and that they have a successful business. But for a no-frills bakery in a small strip shopping center where you can only take away what you have purchased (no seating and I didn't see any drinks?) I will save this bakery for special occasions when I have out of town guests at my home. I did not see a health rating for this bakery by the Florida Business & Professional Regulation, who does inspections. This has become a staple stop in our Sunday mornings on the way to or home from church. Whether we're dropping in for a quick snack (say a delicious cookie or muffin) or to stock up on bread (the cheeses and spices infused are to die for!) this place takes the cake! I'll admit the prices are a bit higher than I'd like, but I'm kind of cheap. These aren't Nabisco cookies and Wonder breads, these are the real deal. You can tell the second you bite into their goods that they use high quality ingredients and know their craft well. We've loved everything we've tried. You just have to show up early enough to make sure folks like us haven't bought up everything in stock. In other words, they make fresh goods daily, no digging loafs from last week out from the cabinet here. If you want high quality and delicious baked goods and breads, this is the place to go.
