It is a lovely, nicely decorated, bright space, with parking right in front. Everyone was pleasant and welcoming, including the desk for check in. When I needed a last minute haircut the weekend before Christmas, I remembered and asked her where she went. I called and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. The salon is small and features tropical decor. It is very pleasant, and as the previous reviewer mentioned, has a "Steel Magnolias" feel to it. My stylist was friendly, listened well, and gave great suggestions. She clarified things well before hacking away with the scissors. It was definitely the happiest I've been with a cut in awhile. They use some new product lines I am unfamiliar with, but they smelled AMAZING. Overall, I'd say this is a great place to go, especially to make major changes. The price isn't as high as many salons but still high enough that I won't be able to return each time I get a trim; I will probably come back every few visits.

After a week, when I realized my hair just wasn't "blond enough" - she squeezed me in to apply more bleach and a toner!! She's a professional who is also very nice and competent. I will definitely go back, again & again. As another poster mentioned, don't expect a GLOW or a ROBERT ANDREWS DAY SPA, but you can expect exceptional results. And that's what really matters!!! **(I'm only giving it FOUR STARS because the owner seemed less than thrilled that I came back and wanted more bleach applied - because "fixing" is usually on the house - and she didn't consider my request to be a "fix." I tipped Kasey a second time because again, she's a pleasure to work with!!)

I see Jesika when I go and she is fabulous - talented, professional and personable. I'm always thrilled with my highlighted and cut hair when I leave. What I like about the Park Salon and Barber is that it is casual but nice, family friendly and easy going. All of the staff I have encountered have been helpful and friendly. They are constantly cleaning and they have really gone the extra mile keeping everything super clean and safe during COVID. Kudos to this local business in the heart of Severna Park!
