The new owner and management is top notch at 20 Mile right now. My son has just started doing level 3 teams and absolutely loves it. The coaches know what they're doing I know how to get the boys to improve their quality of the routines and skills. I have two kids attending. One is doing recreational classes and the other one is doing teams. The negative reviews from years ago are no longer relevant as Caesar is the new owner and has really turned this gym around. The facilities are extremely nice the environment and instructors are positive. The parents that have been on teams for years are very positive and friendly. read more

This gym has a nice facility, and my daughter enjoyed being part of a team here for nearly three years. Unfortunately, the professionalism and support from the coaching staff and leadership were severely lacking when challenges arose. During her first year at the gym, my daughter expressed interest in pursuing college gymnastics. Her coach was not supportive. Instead of encouraging her while being realistic, the coach discouraged her and even refused to teach her new skills, stating, "Why should I teach you new skills if you are going to leave anyway?" This was deeply disappointing, as we were paying facility and coach to teach her. My daughter chose to stay because of the friendships she had built with her teammates. The following year, my daughter moved up a level and had a different coach. As a middle schooler navigating personal struggles, my daughter handled some issues poorly with her coach but they appeared to have been resolved. Later in the season, more issues arose but the director made decisions without hearing all sides and communicated things that should have been addressed personally via email. We attempted to contact her coach multiple times but both my daughter and I were ghosted. My 14 year old CHILD called the coach and texted her requesting a meeting to resolve the matter and the coach didn't ever reply! The coach is an ADULT responsible for mentoring and coaching CHILDREN! Despite paying non-refundable competition fees, the only option offered was for her to compete without a coach's backing--a serious safety concern. This left my daughter unsupported and she was forced to leave the gym. Over the course of our time there, I invested more than $10,000 and consistently supported the program and the coaches, even when I may have disagreed with them. When real issues arose, the way they were handled was unprofessional, dismissive, and deeply concerning. I recently contacted the owner of the gym to express my concerns and I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply. This is the thanks you get for spending your money there. Families considering this gym should be aware that while the facility is nice, the leadership and some coaching support may fall short when it truly matters. read more

Attended a birthday party here this weekend and was extremely impressed with the staff. The instructors were awesome with the kids, and it was obvious they genuinely enjoyed working with the little ones. The kids loved jumping in the foam pit, and the instructors gave lots of extra care and attention to the younger ones who weren't sure what to do. Great service from enthusiastic people all around. Will definitely schedule our next birthday party here. Our 4-year old liked it so much we're taking him back for open gym on Fridays at 7pm. Apparently this gym is one of the best gymnastics schools in south Denver (Parker). Walls were loaded with pictures of State Champions who came from here. read more

I hate that I am writing this review. My daughter has been at 20Mile for over a year. We started with rec and now are on team. During this time my daughter has had at least 5 different coaches. Often her classes have had 15+ girls and only one coach. Often this coach has been late or a no-show. We held on hoping things would get better if she made team. Sadly no. We have seen 3 team coaches leave for another local gym in the last 6 months. It seems the head of the rec program has also left. I understand employee turnover is hard. But I my disappointment is the bullying the 20Mile owner and staff are doing to the former employees on Facebook. This is a bad example to my chidren. About a month ago the Owner (JR) called a meeting. But in advance of the meeting he sent out this message. "We are not interested in making this a bitch fest, nor will this meeting become a bitch fest. Those families wanting to move forward with this program only need attend. Al others are free to submit their drop notice...". I attended this meeting. JR did not want to hear any feedback from parents. It was like only true-believers were welcome. With the rec and team staff shorthanded my daughter's classes have become a disaster. The coaches spend all their time whispering to eachother and texting. Not teaching my child. Then last night I received this email from the head coach of the girls team Allison Ritz, "... we have decided that those athletes that have committed to going to Momentum should not return to 20Mile. We continue to receive complaints from parents and athletes that those who are leaving have not had the best behavior toward our families/athletes that are staying." We had planned to stay at 20Mile. But rather than taking responsibility for the challenges at the gym and coaching shortage it seems they are blaming the little girls. Shameful. It really feels like this place is coming apart at the seams. read more

Fantastic! Over the last 3.5 years all 3 of my children have trained here and we've had wonderful experiences with the coaching staff and office staff. My son is on the boys' team and it's been an amazing experience for all of us. The coaches push them to improve and succeed by making competition fun - not piling on pressure. It's obvious that every member of the boys' team coaching staff genuinely care about the success, safety, and wellbeing of their team. Birthday parties, parents night out, rec classes - we've done pretty much everything except girls' team and it's all been great. As a testament to how much they love it - my son and his teammates all want to be at the gym as much as possible. A small warning for parents - seating in the viewing area is limited and cell signal is spotty. Not bad for a 1 hour class but for long team practices you'll probably want to drop off. read more

At first I had really felt like this place was going to work out well. We had tried them out and then decided to go ahead and schedule some private lessons for the kids. They told us to use the website to schedule them. The website wanted me to enable cookies on my phone, and also on my computer (Which basically means they want to be able to store data files on my phone/computer just for using their site). I felt like this was an unnecessary intrusion that I have not encountered on any other website so far. They insisted we had to go through the site for scheduling so we went ahead and scheduled through the site. We wanted a full hour, but in order to get the full hour we wanted, they said we had to reserve 30 minutes back to back. So once I had reserved the first spot the second one was taken by the time I went back to book it seconds later. Then I had to call the gym, and they said the coach would have to contact me to fix the problem. Several days passed and I finally got a text message back from the coach. Each time I tried to communicate with them I waited days or even a week to hear back a simple response to a text message. That coach finally informed me she had left the gym. So last Monday I contacted the gym to try to get in touch with a couple of different coaches to schedule a private lesson. Again they didn't want to give out any contact info, I can respect that. They said they would pass it along to them. Almost a week later no one has called. Either no one got the message, or they haven't taken the time to call. Either way there was no follow through and I just keep slipping through the cracks. I shouldn't have to keep calling and calling them. I decided it's just not worth trying anymore, so I will be looking elsewhere. Again I had really thought this place was going to work out. But with the website not working so well, and the communication and lack of customer service so low I really cannot recommend them. I noticed there are several other gyms nearby that I will be contacting instead. It's been a couple of months just trying to get this going, so I'm really looking forward to finding a good gym to give our business to. read more

Great coaches and staff that really care about the kids! It's run well and one of the better gymnastics programs in the State.

Not for girls!! The boys program is run by the gym owner and has a stable set of coaches. The girls program has seen really great coaches leave as quickly as they arrive. I don't even know who's in charge. As a result my girl has had no consistency at all. read more
