Once you have visible access to the battery, a bolted down stay bracket held everything together. Connected to the bracket was a battery junction box. I applaud the multiple technicians at AutoZone who not only were patient in figuring out how to remove all components safely, but also helped with the installation and calibration of my new battery. German cars are complex, and I'm fortunate that the main mechanic Bruce was able to solve the disassembly mystery.

I was informed through pictures that my brake pads and rotors were a very low percentage. (which is not a surprise to me because I've never had that issue in the past several years). There's some nice and honest mechanics at Pep Boys . They have a new manager named Craig, and Alfonso I've known him for over a year now. Great guy as well. I also went back to get that tire repaired (see photo) I went shopping around for a good price, at multiple locations. Pep Boys did give the best price for my specialty tire. that's including installation, balancing, etc. Once again, five stars, - I always usually wait a few days before I do a review on car repair / services, to ensure validity.

They consistently finish work in less time than expected and often come in under budget, which is rare these days. What really sets them apart is their honesty and commitment to their customers. Recently, I had an issue they couldn't immediately diagnose. Instead of guessing or recommending unnecessary repairs, Nima asked me to monitor it. But he didn't stop there--he continued researching the problem on his own and later contacted me to come back so they could run additional tests. That kind of dedication and follow-through is exceptional. That visit, my brakes had a slight squeal. Nima explained that the brake pads still had plenty of life left and that the noise was likely due to the pads becoming glazed, but they were completely safe. Many shops would have sold me a brake job I didn't need, but they were completely upfront and honest. They've also earned my trust in the little things. They noticed one of my brake lights was out and replaced it. When they realized it was an incredibly simple fix, they didn't even charge me for it. Finding a mechanic you can truly trust is difficult, but Corner3 Garage has earned my confidence. Honest, knowledgeable, fair, and genuinely looking out for their customers--that's exactly the kind of business I want to support.

The mechanic was super friendly, professional, and got the job done in about an hour. My total was $211 including the ~$14 gaskets and no other parts. I will say the $195/hour labor rate is definitely on the higher side, and the total felt a little expensive for what was I've been told now is pretty easy repair. But the service was good, everything was explained clearly, and the repair was done quickly. Overall, I had positive experience and would consider coming back -- just something to keep in mind if you're comparing prices!
